My gear s2 finally died on me and I was wary of replacing it. I like this watch as a replacement. Charging it takes a little while. Workout and activity tracking is nice. I like that I can shower with it on. Using it with the Samsung health app is the best bet for getting the most out of this watch.

    The Best Tech to Have

This watch is great for pretty much everything . You can ask Bixby to call someone for you or send a text. You can ask what the weather is like. When it comes to the active part of it the watch is super accurate. It keeps track of my workouts my sleep pattern and reminds me to get up and move around after sitting around too long . Sometimes I'll put my phone down and forget where I left it and the watch helps me find it. Definitely water proof too showers, pools, rivers etc. You don't have to use water lock but it is helpful so the phone doesn't call someone by accident. One of my favorite features is the emergency button. You press the button 3 times and it sends your location and a message alerting your emergency contacts you are in trouble. When it comes to quality the screen is a decent size and the speakers are pretty loud for how small the watch is. I have dropped it a few times and with some falls I was completely sure the screen would break but nope the screen is very durable. The band is rubber and I thought it would bother me during workouts but it doesn't. Overall its definitely worth it.

My wife loves it. Good purchase! It was simple enough for her to setup and get going on her own. It comes in handy for her especially at work where she can see incoming calls and texts without having to pull out her phone. On top of that she gets compliments on it whenever we go out.

I have used a FitBit Blaze for a few years and figured I'd get something more technologically advanced. For the text messaging, drawing each letter is a neat feature that I don't think works well. The watch cannot tell the difference between o, O, and 0 usually, even if you try to shape them just like they'd appear. The same goes for capital i and lowercase L, which can be solved by added a small curve to the bottom of your L. There is a keyboard option for texting that LOOKS like it'd function like the old T9...but you have to hold on each digit then select the correct letter. Phone calls are clear and probably the thing I like most feature wise, although I don't think I'd ever use it since this isn't the LTE version, and I cannot use the LTE version with my carrier. The heart rate reader is not accurate. It read as 82 as I tested, and I tested immediately after and it read 95. I tested it again further down my wrist and on the inside of my wrist and it read 80. My resting heart rate is normally in the 60-70 range. As I write this, it is reading 73 which may be correct. Sleep tracking seems OK. Weather is nice to see without taking out my phone. It even shows a near-hourly for the next day, then a daily forecast for 5 days. There is a small collection of included watch faces. The app "Facer" lets you get more but many cost $2 on average. The included watch band is not breathable. My wrist gets sweaty while wearing it, and eventually irritable as it rubs against hairs. I had the same issue with my FitBit band and switched to one that resembles the Nike+ bands with holes all over. The watch faces are very clear compared to a traditional watch. The "Aqua Black" color is much more aqua than black. Overall I like this device but for the price, cannot see myself keeping it. I'll give it a try for a few more days and return it then get a cheaper alternative with similar features.

Absolutely love this watch and the customer service from Best Buy. I made the mistake of buying a refurbished one from Amazon and it was broken upon arrival. So i decided to get a new one from Best buy. It was reasonably priced, and with curbside pickup, It was an easy process.

This was purchased for my wife who has some heart problems (POTS, MVP). She is unable to control her blood pressure when transitioning from a sitting to a standing position so sometimes she will lose consciousness from the lack of blood flow. This watch has helped tremendously with tracking her heart rate, monitoring ECG, and most importantly, notifying me if she falls when I am not around. I upgraded her to the newest Galaxy Watch 3 thinking it would be better but it was not, the health portion is not as robust and is very slow. The Active 2 is near instant with heart changes and notifies you directly on the home screen where as the Watch 3 did not. We sold the Galaxy Watch 3 and went back to the Active 2 and have had no issues since.

Pairs easily with my Samsung Note 10 +. Sleek design. Color goes with everything. This smart watch keeps me in contact with my Family (via text & other apps) as I am unable to have my Note 10 + with me during my shift at my job (1st responder/ front line Covid-19 laboratory professional). Battery life is short though. It also logs my steps, keeps my heart rate etc.

I purchased this particular smartwatch because of design and minimalist look. The speaker on the watch is much improved from previous generation one. I wish it would have been more comfortable while wearing on a daily basis and the belt could be more comfortable and it would have been great to have more choices available to buy. Overall it's a good watch and the companion app is awesome.

I purchased this for my daughter to make it easier for her to communicate without having to reach for her phone while holding her baby. She is in love with the color and the quality of everything it offers. This was a very good decision. I may be getting myself one now.

Love this watch, it is my first smartwatch purchase was hesitant since I am not a big fan of technology. I am surprised at how easy it is to use. I am an iPhone user so I cannot reply to texts through watch but I can read them and get to urgent ones quick. Excellent product.

I love this watch to be able to keep up with my walking on a daily basis. The apps can be customized in an order of most often used to find them quickly. The setup was very easy to get you tracking all your activities. I bought some fancy 3rd party watch bands to dress it up at night.

This is my second Samsung Smartwatch. I gave my older one to my husband and bought this new one. The colors are brilliant and the new watch band style is so much better. The apps are much improved and I look forward to having the EKG function in the near future. This watch can do it all ... it even tells the time!

I got this as an upgrade to my fitbit. I wanted something that I could also see messages and phone calls on since I can't have my phone with me at work. It has been great on all accounts. Set up was easy. I did go elsewhere to get a cover for it since I had scratched it a tiny bit while working.

Wife loves it. The design, features everything except the battery life... She is coming from a Fitbit Versa 2, which used to keep it's battery for days.. this watch will last just over a day. I explained to her that this watch does a lot more that's why it uses more battery.

I love the size of the watch since I have a small wrist. Love how it works. Simple and pretty. The only thing I am complaining about is the battery life. I feel like when I leave it unchanging overnight and I put on night time mode (no notifications) it goes down to 70%-80%. I don't know if its supposed to be that way as it isn't lighting up at night with my notifications I get.

it is a very beautiful watch with accurate blood pressure, heart rate measurements, can receive calls, emails, texts. It seems not to work with Facebook but only Facebook messenger, it works with Instagram etc. Its price value is very good compared to apple smart watch with similar features.
