love this watch!! keeps me active with alerts to get up and move when im being lazy. absolutely gorgrous design. definitely buy some bumpers for this because i find myself absent mindedly smacking into things with it all the time. its very sturdy with the bumpers on tho and with touch sensitivity on u wont have any problems using the screen with bumpers. the battery life isnt as good as they say it is but it gets me thru more than a days use so it hasnt been a big problem. the battery saving mode will keep it alive for days though! biggest complaint is a lack of decent apps but tbh i dont really need tons of apps for a watch.

This is a very poorly built product. The screen started to malfunction and I sent the watch for repair under warranty. Samsung came back with "Out of Warranty" estimate for $229 claiming that they found water damage inside. This is more than a cost of a brand new watch! The watch has never been submerged in water and even advertised to be water resistant to some degree, yet they found water damage inside, which in my understanding means that the seals just failed to provide even basic protection from sweat or water splash. Samsung was unwilling to stand behind the product and repair it under warranty knowing that this watch has so many complaints about the water issue due to poor design or some failing part. I recently had another bad experience with Samsung repair service when I sent my Galaxy Buds Live for repair under warranty. They came back from repair having the same exact issue and nothing was fixed. I was planning on buying 75'' 4K Samsung TV, but after having two negative experiences with customer service I've made a decision to go for another brand. Not sure what they do in other countries, but here in US the customer service is simply unacceptable. Not buying another Samsung product ever again. Update - I received the watch back from Samsung after refusing to pay $229 for repair. The box was absolutely fine, but the watch was physically damaged. The back was broken of due to over torqued screws. There is no way the technician could miss this. See photos.

It's beautiful and I love the band (it tucks under instead of the usual over-buckle and flapping left-over band). It fits my tiny wrist and the pink looks elegant. Function has been fabulous!!

It works great and there is no issues with Samsung Galaxy A71. 40mm is perfect size for my wife. My wife love this watch, but she wants to get a new watch strap.

I wanted to move from my old fitness device to a smartwatch. I had read many articles and reviews about the Active 2 and did something I rarely do; purchased it shortly after it released. I am glad I did! It looks prettier than the old fitness device I had, and I love being able to change the watch faces to match my mood and clothes. It has many features I use on a daily basis. I have a Samsung Note 10+; the two devices work well together. It took a bit to understand how to use it. I joined a group of Samsung watch users on Facebook; it is helpful to ask questions from more people who have more digital understanding than I have.

Samsung's Galaxy series of smart watches have changed quite a bit over the last few years since the first one was brought out. I have owned just about every one. Have also owned a Apple watch (which was elegant and offered great features). My last Samsung watch was the Galaxy watch in gold. It was gigantic and the shiny gold distracted from the screen. It was very manly looking. I wanted it because there was a speaker. My Gear Sport didn't have a speaker and it only came in black or blue. Otherwise, they both worked fine. I didn't buy the Active because there was no speaker. Waited with anticipation to find out if the beautiful Active2 would have a speaker. It did. Went to try it on at Best Buy and considered both sizes. The 40mm won out. I am a female with an average size wrist. For the first time, an Samsung watch looks good on my wrist. Didn't want to pay the $279 price because I am thrifty, so waited. Wanted the rose gold but also liked the silver. When they had an open box one available, I jumped at the watch. Wanted to see how it worked. Really liked that they were not shiny and distracting and the screen took precedence with no bevel. My only concern was how the glass would hold up to my aggressive physical nature. I have banged my smart watches many times and none of the screens have broken, but there are several scratches on my apple watch screen. The bezel on the samsung watches did help protect my screen. After wearing this watch at my very physical job, I realized I had hit the screen pretty hard one day and there wasn't even a scratch. So, it passed the physical test. Bixby is almost worthless for asking questions but it will allow you to call someone using the watch. As I ride a motorcycle, I sometimes have my watch in my bag. I do not have the LTE version so cannot speak to that. BUT, I have made phone calls using the watch and Bixby and a number from my contact list. Note that the first day that I had the watch that the battery drained rather quickly. After making a few adjustments to background apps and using a different watch face, the battery use improved. This watch is beautiful. I liked it so much that I bought the rose gold one too on an early Black Friday deal.

I purchased this watch in 2020 and it's still going strong today. Battery life is pretty good considering I have the HR monitor on all the time. It connected seamlessly with my phone and I can use it to dismiss alarms, answer calls, respond to texts, set timers, etc. Highly recommend it.

I am still learning the different aspects that this device has to offer, but at this point I feel that the device is very nice. I may feel that way because the new-ness hasn't warn off yet. I haven't had another watch similar to this, so I can't compare this one to anything else. I enjoy using it and using the different apps. A negative issue I have with it is that it has to be charged quite frequently, at least once a day. I don't know if that is normal, but at this point I am enjoying the device. It was quite pricey, but it was a gift to myself so I took the plunge. I deserved it! If you are thinking about purchasing this watch, I suggest that you also look at purchasing a protector shield for the watch face to keep if from being scratched.

This watch is my new favorite thing. I have worn it every day since it was purchased. This is an upgrade from a generic fitness watch so it is very nice and has features such as calls and texts that I never had as options. This galaxy 2 watch is very customizable. On the fitness side, it tells you to get up and take a walk, for example, if you've been sitting too long; the heart rate and blood pressure seem to be fairly accurate readers. Can add work outs and exercises, a few main contacts, calendar, other apps. Highly recommend!

The pink gold 40mm is great on my small wrist and is neutral enough to wear with mostly anything. The face of the watch is still a large enough size for easy viewing. The bluetooth audio for phone calls also sounds great. The rotating bezel and swiping feels seamless, and the overall quality for the bluetooth version feels premium. I love it!

Inhave owned nearly every model of the Samsung smartwatches and this one is by far my favorite. The design is flawless. Navigation is fairly easy and even a beginner will find this easy to use. I really like the built in rotating bezel. I like the Bixby feature on the watch but I did not use it on my phone. I have the watch paired with my Galaxy Fold and there have been no issues so far.

I have had this watch for a month now. It has done exactly what I was wanting in terms of a watch. Battery life for me has been 48 hours. Tends to be affected by the watch face. The apps available meet my needs for fitness tracking. Call and messages notifications work as expected and the quick responses are convenient. Samsung pay works well and is a nice addition. If you are looking for a good smart watch this is a good watch which is a better value due to the fact that new watches are becoming available adding extra value for the money.

I was a long time "fan" of a different brand but was finally tired of calling for warranty repair on just about every watch I owned. I tried this Samsung watch for the first time and love it so far! Pros: Connects and stays connected to my phone. Lots of ways to personalize. Stats are what I would expect. More options for watch bands since it's a standard watch pin. Con: Battery life. I was used to a 4 day battery life but I made due. Usually a quick charge while getting ready in the morning is enough to keep it going.

I purchased this one after my previous Samsung gear watch died on me. I love the sleeker design and honestly I like the color I pick (rose gold and I never was a gold person; looks very good against my skin). I'm still learning it and sometimes the watch won't turn on when I turn my wrist to look at it ( I have to double tap the screen to turn it on). But that's minor and doesn't happen often. I bought it from best buy instead of Samsung or any other place for its warranty and protection program (Samsung doesn't have a "apple care" package and I had a very not pleasant experience with Samsung customer service with my last watch). I love it!

This watch has so many features that make it fun to use. It is very easy to figure out, a lot of widgets that you can add and is easy to see. Being able to answer texts and phone calls on it, make it very convenient if you are busy. The only small downfall is that the battery doesn't last as long as I think it should. But other than that, it is a good activity tracker and is able to gauge my stress levels and remind me to move

I thought this watch was going to be too big for my small wrist, but it's just right. Works perfect with my phone (Samsung Galaxy S8) It is comfortable to wear, and easy to work and understand. I has made life easier when my hands are full I can answer my phone or text from it with just talking. It has made it through a lot! I swimming in it, cleaning, working on the house, dropped it on tile floor, dropped it on the driveway, and etc.... I still works just great!

I have 2 phones... my personal cell is a samsung and my work cell is an iphone. The apple watch can only connect to iPhone, while the samsung watch can connect to iphone and android. I chose the samsung watch because it can connect to either one of my phones. Plus, I like the round watch face more than the square apple watch face. I love being able to answer calls thru my watch when I'm away from my desk, and also set reminders on my watch as soon as I think of them.

Not terrible. Not great. I think for me I would have preferred a larger version of the watch. maybe 44mm. The battery life does not seem to last as long as my previous Galaxy watch. I do like the smaller size when going for a run. The band seems small. I probably have average size wrists and this is on the tail end of the band. If I were to do it over I'd probably go with a different version. I did buy this one as an open item so the price makes it worth the purchase for me. Not sure I'd pay full price for it.

Good value for what it is. I wear it daily as some family members have heart issues. I am overweight and have no health issues, but wanted to keep an eye on things. Woke up a month ago with my left arm hurting, hard to breathe and in pain. Monitored with this watch and the heart monitors on the app. It showed A Fib for over an hour while I was experiencing this. After drinking some water, taking an aspirin and calming down, the pain stopped and the monitor showed regular rhythm again. Got up next morning, called PCP. They refused to see me, sent me to the ER. I get there and spend hours doing a whole workup. I pull up the app and show the cardiologist the readouts, he says it is NOT A Fib, that this showed a regular rhythm. Said do NOT use it to monitor in this way unless you can read the readout correctly. Yes I know it states not to use it in this way, but when you're having symptoms too, it made sense at the time to monitor it that way. Followed up with doc 3 days later who reinforced that it should not be used in that manner and my heart is healthy. It keeps good time, stays connected and does what it should. It helps me keep up with my heart rate (which is accurate), exercises and calendar on my phone. When exercising I can listen to music, take calls, respond to texts, whatever I would normally do on my phone without issue. The app is great too as a female you can track your cycles. Overall, I'm happy with the watch and would recommend. I charge it every 3 days or so, as it seems to get zapped pretty quickly when wearing 24 hours a day. Waterproof works while in the shower if you remember to turn it on. Easy to clean, change out bands and charge.
