Battery sucks
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The features on the phone is great like my Samsung pay and the fact that you can use it as your phone if you where to leave your cell phone somewhere else. But the battery life of this phone sucks, it can have 100% charge but after 4-5 hours your watch is dead and by the way that is with the battery saving mode on and not downloading any apps. Very disappointing

Posted .Tish, if you are in bluetooth range change the connection to bluetooth and turn off the LTE. This will help save a lot of battery. Please visit our website for more troubleshooting tips. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/owners/product/galaxy-watch-active2-lte ^Samsung Brand Ambassador

LTE
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Will not stay connected to the data plan. It keeps switching to bluetooth which it isn't supposed to do. So you don't get the full experience of an LTE watch.

Nice watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally ordered the "Active" in rose gold but decided I wanted to pay the extra money and get the active 2. It was to late to cancel my order so I sent it back the day it got here and ordered this one. Let me just say the rose gold in the active was GORGEOUS. I absolutely loved the color. When I ordered the active 2 I decided to go with the color "cloud silver" because the pink-gold didn't look like the rose gold I had gotten in the active. Now the gold-gold in the "active 2" is a diff story it is absolutely gorgeous too but I wasn't paying over 150 dollars just to get the color I wanted. Lol. Anyways the cloud silver color is nice and it will go with any color band if I choose to switch it out so thats a plus BUT man, that rose gold was so pretty!! Performance wise so far it is a GREAT watch.

Wonderful Android Watch! Highly recommend!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this watch a few weeks back to replace my Galaxy Active. While that watch was nice, I wanted connectivity away from my phone, as my job requires me to run around a lot. So far with Verizon, I have had no issues with phone calls and messages. The calls are very clear and this watch does everything I need it to do and more! I bought the larger size and am female, and don't feel it is too big on my wrist. I get about 2 days on the battery, but do not have the " always on" display activated. I highly recommend and think it is one of the best Android watches available on the market right now.

Good Depending On Expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this watch, 40mm LTE, for about 10 days now. I purchased this so that I can track my daily runs & cycling and still have access to my phone, without lugging my phone around. The call and text aspect of the phone is great and accomplishes that part of my intentions. I tried 3 different fitness trackers, Strava, Endomondo and Samsung Health. For me, Samsung Health is the clear winner. Samsung Health is the only one that allows the screen to stay on while I am running and the font size an numerals are easy to read while running. The GPS seems to be very accurate on all of them when comparing to my old Suunto and Google Maps. The only downside is that the heart rate tracker is only accurate while being still. The heart rate is normally way off while I am running. When I am cycling, the heart rate is fairly accurate, because my arm is more still. I contacted Samsung support and they said that their is no chest strap option and the only way to get an accurate reading is to be still. Not what anyone wants with an activity tracker! So, if heart rate training is your thing, this is not your watch. Everything else, NFC, battery life etc is great.

Love this watch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have small wrist. I am 55. I've had this watch a few years. I can see face fine. I got smaller face so not as bulky. Battery life good. I have LTE in case I needed. Best watch I've ever had.

Great LTE option for smaller wrist
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was finally able to get my hands on the LTE version of the Active 2 and it was worth the wait. After wearing the Gear 3 Classic for 2 years, this one wears like it's not even there. The new touch bezel takes a bit of getting used to, but the haptic feedback works great. Just don't forget to activate it. So, all the great features of the Gear 3 (except the mst payment option) without the bulk. It has swim tracking and is much easier to wear when sleep tracking. When fall detection is added, it will be nearly perfect.

Did not work as it was intended
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall it’s a nice watch but was not good enough for the reason it was intended for. It was purchased to be used as a stand-alone watch for my 10 year old. However after setting up the watch using my phone I had issues allowing the watch to function on its own without it continually trying to reconnect to my phone. She was unable to receive phone calls and text when her watch was near mines. If I disconnected from Bluetooth it would reconnect whenever it wanted. I also attempt to give to my sister who has a Samsung phone but decided it was not useful because she could not receive texts because she uses the google version.

1 Year Manufacturer Warranty is a JOKE DO NOT BUY
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this watch from Best Buy on 1/5/20. On 9/24/20 the touch screen started acting like it was being touched when it was not. Would even change watch faces and started calling people just randomly. Spoke to Samsung and they asked me to send it in to them to either be fixed, replaced, or refunded. Obviously the watch is 8 months old and well under the 1 year manufacturer warranty. Now when I check the status of the repair with Samsung it says, "Awaiting Payment". I have had ZERO contact from Samsung. When I reached out on chat they said that payment is required because the watch showed water damage. This is a WATERPROOF watch that they advertise to swim with it on. So I do swim with it on. I use it to track my mileage in the pool. Why on EARTH would I need to pay for repairs to a watch that is warrantied and less than a year old for water damage if it is made to be swam with? I have now been blown off in chat by 2 different people and switched departments 3 times. AVOID THIS WATCH IF YOU EXECT DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. This is GARBAGE>

Thus watch is not compatible with AT&T service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was so excited to get this watch. It is a beautiful watch! The band looks pink on the website but its actually a soft mocha color. I was able to get over that but when I tried to connect it to my service, after an hour of trying, AT&T said it's not compatible. I thought they were crazy, so I reached out to a representative at samsung who told me that its actually not compatible with any service provider. I dont understand how they can call it LTE if it doesn't work with any carrier. I dont know if it will work with any other but it definitely doesn't work with att. I was heart broken because it is so beautiful. It also doesn't stay connected to my phone when I'm down stairs. So if you want the bluetooth portion you still have to have your phone even in different rooms of your house. Not a fan!

Posted .Hello Babybloom, we apologize that this has been a less than ideal experience. Samsung has Bluetooth and LTE smart watches. The LTE version can receive calls and messages without being connected to a phone. However, you'll first need to activate service for your watch through the same carrier as your mobile phone. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon all offer plans for the LTE versions of Galaxy Watch, Gear S3, and Gear S2 models. However, you can activate the mobile network only when you use a phone running the Android operating system 5.0 or later and with 1.5GB of RAM or more. You must be connected to a Wi-Fi or mobile network. Plans and connection method may vary depending on the carrier. ^Elizabeth

Overheating issues
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was very disappointed with this watch since I had to return it after 1 week of use. It over heated and shut down while using the cellular 4G network during a 5 minute call. This happened twice. The watch got so hot that it burned my wrist! I was satisfied with the watch until the over heating problem. The health tracking with my Samsung Galaxy S8 was what I was looking for in a smart watch. I will not be purchasing another Samsung watch. I'm looking at Garmin or Apple.

Not Water proof as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am extremely upset and disappointed in Samsung. This product is marketed as resistant to 5 atm of pressure and actually has built in modes to handle underwater behavior. Samsung will Negate the warranty due to water damage. It's not worth spending all that money
