    Great, But Still Lacking

I bought the Samsung Active 2 for health tracking. So far, it is doing a lot of what I was looking for. However, a few additions would go a long way to make it 5 stars. Battery is good and kudos for opening it to blood pressure readings which I use daily. However, we still need the ecg to get approved and released. I would also love to set specific alarms on each run/walk to help me stay in a certain heart beat range. I would also like to see a native GPS map of my walk/run without having to use a 3rd party app. Lastly, it really needs the ability to move through audio downloaded on it. If you want to start halfway through, you can't. But all-in-all, I really like it and look forward to it getting better with new updates.

Sleek and fashionable yet keeps track and keeps up with my active lifestyle. Still waiting for ecg and BP functions to be updated(that's up to Samsung). Also I recommend getting a screen protector for it. I've gotten some scratches already.

I've had this watch for a year now. What a great watch. For the price, you literally can't go wrong. If you have a samsung galaxy phone the native integrations with the watch just make it amazing. I will say the ECG is a little wonky. But the rest of the health monitoring is phenomenal. I also love it for controlling music that I stream or cast from my phone. Also oddly, it's great for locating your phone (attention parents everywhere).

I'm pleased with all the features on this smartwatch. Although I thought it would also record an ECG which is part of the reason I bought it. However, FDA has not approved this app for use in the US. South Korea recently got approval, so hopefully, it will get FDA approval soon. Also the band on this watch is very comfortable. I had trouble with my old fitbit band causing an allergic reaction.

Lots of options with the watch. Texting is probably the hardest thing to do on it. I just avoid it. Phone calls work good on the phone. Only app that never seems to work is the ecg monitor. It's a great workout tracker and I use it daily to track my steps and workouts.

Samsung has billed the Active 2 to have ECG, AFib and Fall detection but did not release those features with the watch claiming the need for FDA approval. They then stated a 2/20 release which has passed and now a 4/24/20 release is rumored. This feature could easily be released with a disclaimer "not FDA APPROVED" and updated after approval. Many customers bought a watch expecting a feature that doesn't exist and doesn't have a clear release date.

I enjoy most things about this watch. One area that could be improved is more software related. ECG was advertised to be released in Q1 of 2020 and we haven't heard much about it.

I can't give it five stars because it was supposed to come with ECG and fault detection (I'm still waiting). Other than that it's a great watch, full of features.

It says the watch is supposed to do blood pressure and ECG and it doesn't. When you contact the company and inform them of the issue they act like your crazy. I will be finding another product.
