Good Watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Positives: This watch is really easy to use and I love the way it automatically detects that I am exercising and starts keeping stats. It also very good and turning on when I turn my wrist to look at it. The sleep feature is my favorite and the one I use the most. Negative: The one thing I don't like is the confusion around whether or not it can take blood pressure. Samsung says its capable, the problem is that it seems to not be approved in the US. So I bought it with the expectation I could use it for blood pressure and that was a disappointment.

Great screen display, below average health trackin
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you are looking for a smart watch with a great display, play music, read texts, phone call, etc. this is a great watch. However if fitness tracking is your primary purpose in purchasing this watch, then this may not be the watch for you. While the smart watch does measure steps, heartbeat, etc. there is no tracking ability. I mean it does not save the data on the watch or phone, so you can look at your fitness trends and history. This is important to me because I want to track my steps, heartbeat, stress, sleep over a week and month. My last smart watch was a $100 basic model that I purchased 3 year and I could check details like how many steps I took over the last week/month, what is my average heart rate, how much sleep did I get over the last week/month, my stress level last week compared to this week, etc. I also purchased the Samsung Active 2 to measures blood pressure, but the process is convoluted and complicated requiring you to sign up for a study that asks allot of personal questions. In spite of signing up for the study I was unable to get a single Blood pressure reading, the sensor wouldn't provide a reading even after 10 mins of sitting still. Also, for some strange reason, the heart monitoring feature forces the phone to be in a very secure mode by enforcing a screen lock.

Works awesome!
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great product to have. The only downside is the screen scratches really easy. I bought the protective cover, however I wore it out and scratched it a few days after so that was a bonehead move on my part. The buttons are firm. I dislike showering with it as the droplets will trigger screen presses and swipes and it can do some pretty wild things like that. I haven't yet determined if I can change the sensitivity to correct that. Being in a wet state I should have that more to prevent accidental touches. Works with lots of apps and pairs easy to my phone. Like getting the notifications and call popups right there and then. voice messages are fairly well. the swipe texting is touchy and doesn't work all the time.

Blood Pressure
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great watch. The only problem I see, is that it does not give me a blood pressure reading. Watches that cost much less have the capability to read a person's blood pressure. Other than that, I love this watch.

Unreliable
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had to replace this watch a couple times. It is advertised as being able to track your swimming however the issues I've had are due to water damage. If you plan on your watch getting wet save yourself the trouble and go ahead and get the Under Armor Galaxy Active 2

Manufacturing defect?
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really liked the watch at first. After a little more than a year started noticing problems with the touch screen randomly doing things on its own. Noticed it more when even a small amount of water had come in contact with the watch. Samsung states watch is water resistance however after research I’ve seen many complaints of the watch doing this and Samsung saying they would not repair this problem because problems is a result of abuse or wear and tear. This watch has never been dropped and has only been under water in the shower a few times. Rain drops and water splashes from washing hands is the only times it ever gets wet. I would not recommend this watch due to an obvious manufacturing problem!!

Poor water protection
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Do your own research, plenty of reports about this watch entering a boot loop caused by water damage from benign sources. Such as rain, and hand washing. In short, it has poor water resistance, on a watch advertised for swimming that is unacceptable. Samsung does not warranty water damage. Tizen also has notification problems. When a notification is received the process of checking the notification can clear it before reading. In less than 6 months, I was forced back to my 6 year old watch, which has enjoyed countless swimming expeditions. It just lacks the always on heart sensor and 3 day battery life.

An expensive wrist weight.
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch isn't accurate at all. It counts steps when I sitting. It's wanting be a "get active" while I'm actually walking or driving. It is not recognizing when I am trying to sleep. It even wants me get active when I'm sleeping. I wore it to my physical to see how accurate the BP and pulse were. The results were not even close to what the medical assistant got, or my home BP cuff for that matter. But hey, it's cute.

Do Not Buy
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can't actually swim in the watch. Used for swimming laps in a pool. Stopped working in 6 months and sent to Samsung thinking it was covered under warranty. Samsung says it has water damage so it isn't covered under warranty, It didn't matter to Samsung that I used the watch exactly the way they said. They wanted to charge me over $200 to repair. Way to stand behind your product Samsung. Guess what watch is still working fine...my wife's Apple watch.

DO NOT BUY
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would not recommend purchasing any Samsung watches. We purchased 3 in 2020 and they are all now torn up now that they are out of warranty. One the back came off for no reason, one stopped working after swimming in it and one quit working completely.
