Good at first....
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It was good at first. The back fell off and a few weeks later the screen went black. I didn't even have the watch for 2 years.

Nice Features, but horrible battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch from Samsung integrated well with my Samsung phone and had some nice features. Unfortunately, these features can't overcome a battery that just can't keep up with use. Even after reducing all of the settings, and with limited "smart" feature use, this watch barely lasted 24 hours without a charge. My wife owns a direct competitor to this watch from another brand. Her model doesn't suffer the same problem. There are competitors out there with just as many features, but can accomplish them with a longer battery.

Eh, it's ok.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it preowned. Had a small mark on the screen glass that appears to be from a repair? Otherwise, like new. It's a decent looking low profile decent featured smart watch.

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just ok. So really haven't figured out the odds and ends of it. It shows me messages and when the phone rings. Sometimes it freezes, which is been doing more of lately.

Solid hardware. Questionable software
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall nice hardware. Some serious software issues as far as the app store/app quality is oftentimes terrible. Used a fairly common running app as this was main purpose of the watch and it rarely ever functioned as described. Because of the software experience (some of which is personal preference), I ended up trying to return a day late and sold to someone else when I couldn't. Probably would be writing different review if I used Samsung phone due to integration into their "ecosystem."

Unreliable GPS and Bluetooth
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was excited about this watch but ended up returning it. While it looks great, the GPS is poor and didn't work half the time on my runs. Downloading Spotify was nice, but the device bluetooth is weak and it cuts out constantly if you aren't holding the watch close to your headphones. I was using it with Samsung's newest headphones so it shouldnt have been such a poor experience. The Strava app didn't have an always on screen mode, and even after I changed the screen timeout to 60 seconds, it would hide the screen faster than I could read what was shown during running mode. Bottom line: This product is not ready for active users and you should avoid this if you care about GPS and music over bluetooth.

Watch charging backwards.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is unnecessarily expensive. It doesn't have any extra unique features than its predecessors. I have been charging it since yesterday; instead of the charging percentage to be increasing, it's decreasing. The first time, it charged completely to 100% and drained so quickly to 55% and, since then It will charge to 77% and goes down to 37% while on charger, I have not seen anything like this before. I charged it overnight and was surprised to see 67% on it the morning. And it sometimes doesn't respond as expected.

Great watch but terribly cheap quality
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The watch is nice but the band where it connects to the watch already ripped. For almost $300 i expected a lot better quality in material...dont call it an ACTIVE watch if it cant even handke being put on and off a wrost each day. Only took a month to become damaged and unwareable. Now i have to go spend additional money for a new band just to wear it again.

galaxy watch 2
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch, not to big, not to small. While tracking your steps, as a painter or some one who moves your hands a lot it counts every stretch with the roller.

Reaching the point that Samsung not to be trusted.
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed. After 18 months the watch started randomly doing things and the touch does not work. I thought it might be a software related issue since it happened at the same time of software updating. I took it to Samsung shop and after evaluating they told me it is a significant water damage. It is out of warranty but after 18 months you do not expect it and water damage? The interesting part is when i called Samsung and told them about the issue they are telling me that the watch was not advertized to be water resistant. I do not know if it is funny or disappointing. I see in their website that watch active 2 advertised as water resistant. This will be my last Samsung product. Enough is enough.

Mediocre
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had it for a year and the battery no longer lasts as long anymore. Disappointed since it was supposed to be an upgraded battery from the 1st active watch.

Worked for a while then died after end of warranty
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Originally I really liked the watch, but the calorie counting stopped working a few months ago, and then it started dying last week randomly. Just stops working even when fully charged. Rebooting got it back a few times but now it will never turn on anymore. I know it has plenty of charge so I think it is just dead now. Just past the 1 year warranty so I am SOOL. Looking to buy another but doubt I will stay with Samsung after this poor result.
