You can get tons of different faces and even make your own with Mr. Time of Facer. I've switched it between my Samsung S10e and different iPhones and it works fine for both, although I don't remember what functions you miss when using with the iPhone. With the recent update, you also finally get the ECG monitoring ability with Galaxy phones.

I only se them for the messaging. I used to prefer the fitbit fitness part and app. Not fond of the galaxy fitness app and recording. The watch is very strong, I am pretty hard on it feeding and taking care of animals at the barn and very surprised it isn't scratched all up. Still works great and looks great
