I pre-ordered this watch because you got a free wireless mobile charger with it. The main reason I wanted it was it will have ECG capability, but not until early 2020 as Samsung is waiting for FDA approval. It's a nice watch, runs well, and has great features for the price. It runs Samsungs version of Wear OS, Tizen, so all the apps come via the Samsung store, not the Google Play store. The band is kind of cheap, but most of these smart watches come with these cheap rubbery ones anyway.

Awesome. Battery life is great, nice form factor, loaded with features. Glad I got the 44 mm over the 40.

Former Fitbit charge 3 user for many years - switched to the Active 2 wanting the ECG capabilities. Considered the new Fitbit Sense but saw more value in the Active 2 for price and have not be disappointed. Also, wanted a watch that would be extension of my phone. The only Con I have about this watch is the battery life - Samsung could improve on this front. The watch requires charging at least every 2 days if using the workout functions.

I started off with a gear watch, but just after 1 year, just out of the blue it began flashing a boot up loop. I called best buy, and because I bought the warranty, I only had to pay the difference for the upgraded watch. This watch far exceeds the gear. So many different choices and the layout is better. My opinion is to start here. This is am amazing watch.

I have enjoyed this watch . Helps me keep track of my heart rate , my sleep habits . I love that I don't have to pick up my phone in order to turn off an alarm . Also I can send small messages - by set messages or you can just write on your watch with your finger . The only downfall is if you have a very small wrist like me ,then you will need to invest in a smaller band

This is overall a good watch the only downside is it does not have Google it only has Bixby and we all know Bixby sucks.
