This is my first smart watch, and it is an excellent companion to my Galaxy S10+ phone. The exercise features are motivating, except it would be great if one could set the number of reps of an exercise, rather than have the watch tell you how many to do. The interface of the app on my Samsung phone is very nice and intuitive. The price was decent (much cheaper than Apple) and the build quality is very nice. I can't wait to get nicer wristbands. Bixby assistant could be a more intelligent, but is workable. Very comparable to my son's Apple Watch.

I purchased this to replace my Samsung Fit smartwatch which I loved using. The Active 2 is an outstanding watch with great battery life. It's also very user friendly and I highly recommend this watch. I like to 44mm size better because I have large hands. I have an S10e so the watch works great with my phone, I use the heart rate sensor daily as well as the Samsung Health app. I very happy with my purchase.

Purchased to monitor my exercise and HR constantly. About a year ago I developed something called "POTS". My HR changes drastically from sitting to standing and walking. It works perfect. The HR monitor is 100% accurate compared to my BP machine and finger pulse oximeter. Tracks my walking, bike riding, steps, and sleep all night long. Works perfect with the Samsung phone and Health App. Well worth it !

the watch has beautiful design and lite weight and the battery stays for a couple of days

I'm pleased with all the features on this smartwatch. Although I thought it would also record an ECG which is part of the reason I bought it. However, FDA has not approved this app for use in the US. South Korea recently got approval, so hopefully, it will get FDA approval soon. Also the band on this watch is very comfortable. I had trouble with my old fitbit band causing an allergic reaction.

I've had the watch for two days and put it through its paces. I like it a lot. For the last 5 years I've used a Fitbit Surge. It had built-in GPS which one of the main features I want to measure run/walk distances, pace, etc. Also, with GPS it measured where I went and mapped it on the Fitbit cell phone app. After 5 years the Surge battery died. I upgraded to the Fitbit Charge 4 which has the same basic functionality as the Surge but in a slimmer form factor. I tried it for 10 days and hated it! The only redeeming factor if there is one is that it is $149 where the Galaxy Active 2 was $250. The extra $100 for the Galaxy 2 is well worth it! The Charge 4 is in the dark ages. The Galaxy 2 is StarTrek. The one good feature of the Fitbits is the reporting on their app. I still have statistics from 5 years ago. The main negative I've seen with the Galaxy 2 is reporting. That's why I gave 4 stars. I'm going to continue to work on the reporting. Maybe I missed something. I'm not going to go into detail on the features of the Galaxy 2. That is best done reading reviews and watching videos on YouTube. I did both for many hours before deciding on the Galaxy. The main competition was Garmin watches which are far more expensive and less aesthetic. I will tell you one feature I love. Wireless charging!! The two Fitbits had different methods of connected charging. The Surge in particular was awful. With the Galaxy 2 you just lay the watch on a tiny included wireless usb charging device. Note that an actual charger is not included.

I was initially hesitant at the time of purchase but I eventually did. I have no regrets. The only time I don't have it on is when I go to sleep. I use it when I go for walk and other exercises, it monitors all my walkouts, steps, heart rate, etc. The battery life is awesome too. when I am work, I do not have to bring out my phone when I get incoming calls, messages and other notifications. Great deal.

I am still figuring it out but its what I wanted the this I love the most is the sleep monitoring because I know I wake up a lot and now it tells me what and how I being sleeping. confirming what I already had a idea of now I can make change to my sleep times. plus when I get to far from my cell it lets me know and I know there is more to come. plus it holds a charge for several days. very happy with my purchase.

Love this watch, I have only had it for about a month now, but so far so good. Watch is very convenient, especially if your phone is always in your purse and you constantly have to unzip and zip it again in order to get to your phone. Initially I was worried that it could feel too bulky on my wrist, but most of the time I forget it is there. Still figuring out if I can get more out of it...

I’m a big apple guy for day one but my first gen Apple Watch was not keeping a charge I was going to buy a new one until I seen the prices and was very disappointed. So I did some research and came across the Samsung galaxy watch 2 and the price was right and the technology was amazing and it could connect with my new iPhone I was sold. It’s been 2 months and I love it amazing watch. Highly recommended it.

Purchased this watch to upgrade from the Galaxy Frontier watch. At first I was really skeptical about buying it because of some the reviews I had read about the watch. But I must say I really fell in love with it. The only downside is I wish I would of gotten the LTE version like I have with my apple watch. I also love how the battery life can last through my 12hr work shifts so I can listen to music.

Great smart watch. It works with almost all cell phones, even Apple. It's Bluetooth so your phone needs to be somewhat near by to make and receive calls and texts. It will still work if the phone is not around. The battery life is good. It works better with Samsung phones. With this watch, there's no need to look at your phone all the time. We have 3 of these.

I had a couple fitbits in the past and was always frustrated with them not being compatible with a lot of android phones, plus having the battery in one die shortly after having it for a year. I've been happy with this watch so far after only a couple of weeks connects with my phone with no problem and I like that it uses a charging pad for charging instead of a plug.

I've had this since Christmas, so for just over a week now. I changed from having a Fitbit Versa. Battery life is just over 2 days for me. I like the better notifications and ability to respond to texts. Samsung Health app doesn't do the greatest with sleep analysis because if you even think about adjusting the time, it won't show you sleep levels. I haven't figured out everything yet though.

Great watch for the price. Holds battery charge and is easy to use.

The Samsung - Galaxy Watch Active2 Smartwatch 40mm Aluminum - Aqua Black is wonderful. I am in love with this watch. It's a very high quality watch. It's made nice and strong. This watch has so much stuff that it does and many things you can see on it instead of reaching for your phone. My favorite part of this watch is I can see who is calling me, answer and talk through my watch. I can recieve text messages, read them and respond on my watch. You can get all kinds of notifications on this watch, from texts, to emails, to weather, whatever you have it set on. I also like the actual health app on the watch, and it tracks your daily steps. It can do alot under the health app and measure different things on your body. I also really like how we can put so many colorful watch faces on our watch, I am just so in love with this watch just because it gives us so much access to alot of things without looking at our phones. I do definitely recommend one of these watches they are the best.

My husband wanted another watch for his fitness journey since his previous one gave out on him. I decided to buy this for him as a gift and he has loved it. It tracks his sleep, calories, steps, and workouts flawlessly. The watch doesn't feel like it was made out of cheap material like his other one. He has no complains about this watch. Would recommend it.
