Love it
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I work where my phone is a must. When you are in a professional setting you can't have your phone in your hand all the time. This works and you don't miss anything. As far as the step counter and all that fitness stuff I really don't use. I mainly bought this watch to make sure I don't miss a important phone call or email when my phone is in my purse. My office is pretty big so I can step away from my desk where my phone is to roam about the office and still be connected and don't miss a thing.Battery life is excellent by the end of a long day I'm still above 70%. The band is soft and flexible. Custom replies for text, emojis and writing on the face of the watch is a plus. I would recommend an watch face protector though. It's cute, not too bulky for a womans wrist. The color is great. I would definitely give this to someone as a gift this Christmas.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wear this watch every day and all day. It has never died on me or glitched out. I love that I can call and text from it to. I have to be in the vicinity of my phone to do that but it's to be suspected since I didn't want to open another line for my watch.

Great watch that does it all!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my smartwatch! I can monitor my workouts and it maps my routes, etc. See pics. I can control my music, access text messages and phone calls. I can talk on it and I love that! The battery life is really good. I can go all day without having to recharge. I can also monitor my sleep habits and water intake if I choose. There is so much more I can do but haven't tapped into yet. The only con about the watch is that it's a little bulky for me. The apple smartwatch is better looking aesthetically because it's flat in my opinion. I would've given it 5 stars. The value was great for me because I purchased mine open box. Other than that it's a little pricey but worth it. I opted for the first gen because it was less expensive and did everything I needed.

User-Friendly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received my watch from my husband for my birthday. This watch not only looks stylish, but it also gives me the ability to listen to music and answer texts and calls (I feel like Secret Service LOL)! It has all the great health features of my old Gear 2 and also includes a "stress tester." It pairs with my phone easily. Very well-made! Battery life is fantastic! I love the way you can either scroll through the screens via touch screen or you can turn the dial to move through the different screens. I am extremely happy with this product!

Awesome addition to my Note 8
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I don't know what I did before the galaxy watch....yes I do I was miserable, frustrated and ready to give up my Note 8. Since my Galaxy Watch, I am not all of those things above. I look at my watch for text, reply to them, answer calls and hold full-length conversations. Everyone thinks I'm using my cell on speakerphone. I've also used it for health tracking, weather, and especially finding my phone. Great Battery life

Surprisingly useful
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great battery life. Wish phone range was longer. Bixby not Google accessible for voice. Speaker is what you expect for size. Screen is clear easy to read. Dail is awesome. Tough frame I've bumped it a few rough times and no scratches. Band is soft and comes with two sizes. Initially I thought it was bulky at first but I got use to it quick.

Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is fantastic, lasts for days on a single charge with moderate use. I love the color. Very little lag time between call and text messages coming through. Can add alot of different things to the watch that you couldn't with S2 watch.

Great Wearable with lots of functions!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first wearable device. Since I’ve had several Galaxy Smartphones in the past, I was very pleased to try the watch. So far, I’m very happy with it. It has several, about 10-12, different watch faces to choose from depending on your preference for look and readability. I’m actually using the Gear MD103 digital watch face which I purchased for just $.99 on the Samsung App. I like this watch face because it’s easy to see and has all the functions and shortcuts I need most of the time. I took a picture of the Gear watch face which I’ll include with this review. I do a lot of walking so this face is perfect for me. It measures, HR, steps, calories, battery %, distance walked, % of goal reached and more. The sound features can be changed, just like my smartphone, to different included ringtones, vibration, theater mode and mute. I have mine set to vibrations only as long as I’m wearing it. The text is easy to read and the fonts can be changed to small, medium or large. The large font I find is the best and with the text being lit up, I have no problems reading my messages, emails, etc. It comes with several installed apps with the ability to add a few more. I like the fact that with just a turn of the bezel, I can access all my apps and functions. The corresponding app on my smartphone makes it easy for me to access all the settings and notifications. These can also be accessed on the watch as well. I have my calendar synced between my watch and smartphone so no matter where I am, I can see all my scheduled events on my watch. One of the best features is the ability to use both Bluetooth and WiFi. I like the wifi so that I can still access all the functions on my watch when I leave my phone at home, providing there is a wifi signal nearby. Pros: - Long battery life – so far I’ve used it for almost 48 hours and it’s still at 40%. - Interchangeable watch faces - Size of the watch itself – being a woman it’s big enough to see, but not too big to be unfashionable. - East of accessing apps - Find phone feature - Text messaging – predictable text works well, and there are also preprogrammed texts that you can add to - Adjustable font sizes – small, medium and large Cons: - No camera (maybe next time?) - A little on the hefty side, about the same weight as a sports watch - Limitation of # of apps that can be installed All in all for my first wearable I’m pleased with it. There are a lot more pros than cons. I recommend this watch for all of it’s pros. The cons are negligible.

Excellent smartwatch!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy 42mm smartwatch for a few weeks now. I’m really enjoying it a lot for many reasons. There are many customizations you can add for watch faces and notification alerts. The watch pairs perfectly with my Samsung S9 Android phone. My phone normally lives in my front trouser pocket at all times, which means I need to pull out the phone many times throughout the day to see who is pinging me. But now I can simply flick my left wrist to see what my phone is making a fuss about and either choose to investigate further by pulling out my phone or ignoring the alert. So in effect, this is saving me from carpal tunnel syndrome of constantly pulling out the phone out of my pocket every time it buzzes me. Alternately, I can simply respond to say a text message through the watch by replying back with a simple smiley face emoji or a pre-set saved message such as “can’t talk now, will call you later” or whatever. Also cool is the ability to speak a voice message reply through my watch and send it by text as an audio file…very convenient! Again, this saves me from having to pull out my phone out of my trouser pocket yet again another time lol. I can also view my email messages too through my watch, plus see who is calling me and choose to answer the call via the watch if I want to. Total Dick Tracy action! Granted, my particular Galaxy watch cannot make calls (only receive calls) because I don’t want to pay a monthly subscription for the LTE version, it’s still a cool feature to be able to answer calls via the watch. Besides getting instant alerts via the watch, the other major reason for getting a smartwatch is to have customized watch faces with LARGE font sizes so I can easily read the time, day, date and other info without putting on reading glasses. This is why I’m retiring my various collection of cool multifunction Citizen Ecodrive analog watches, because I can no longer read the small font sizes for day and date info, etc. I now have installed many dozens of free watch faces, the one I like in particular is called “Iris26” because of its large font sizes and lots of useful info on the screen such as steps walked, heart beat rate, battery life, etc. The rotating bezel is a really cool feature for navigation/scrolling in addition to the touch screen. The other week, a coworker with an Apple watch was amazed that I can watch movies via a Youtube-like app..haha! My significant other with her Fitbit Versa was utterly jealous of the many features of my Galaxy watch. Battery life is quite excellent. I leave the house at 6:30am with my watch at 100% battery life, it’s usually around 85% battery life about 1:00pm. I really like the black on black design of this watch, I much prefer all black versus the silver tone on the 46mm model. Plus the 42mm version fits my wrist better. The silicon wristband is quite comfortable on my wrist, plus I hardly feel the weight of the watch on my wrist. The screen is very readable even in direct sunlight and is very responsive by touch. I like the Samsung Health app on the watch paired to my S9 phone. I am not a die-hard athlete by any stretch, so all I really need is a casual health tracker, so this Galaxy watch suits me well. As others have pointed out, Bixby is virtually useless. I dislike Bixby on my Samsung phone and it’s equally useless on my Samsung watch. I asked Bixby on the watch how far is the earth from the moon (ala the TV commercial), and Bixby got confused and gave the usual “Please check it on device” display message. The other watch app I use often is the alarm which I have set to ring and vibrate every week day Monday through Friday at 5:30am, but off on the weekends. Very useful! The alarm function works perfectly even when I set the watch on “Goodnight” mode before going to bed. All in all, I’m very satisfied with this Galaxy watch, it now deserves a spot on my left wrist!

Awesome Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Most importantly, the watch is well build and so is the strap. Samsung's really done a great job with the bezel design and feature. Overall, the watch is very simple to use and the battery life is way better than what I had expected. I can go for 3 days without having to recharge my battery. The fitness and health tracking features are great. I haven't actually tested or compared the accuracy of the tracker but I'll trust the technology on my wrist for the time being as I'm not all crazy about tracking every breath I take. If you're looking for a smartwatch that has a slick design and packed with lots of features, I would highly recommend this to anyone.

I Love the Rose Gold Color
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I’ve been very happy with the Galaxy Watch. It’s solidly built and has a great interface. It also has excellent fitness tracking built-in. Although it’s compatible with most Android phones, it feels like you need a Galaxy phone to really take full advantage of it. I’m in love with the design of this watch. It’s got a classic look that doesn’t scream smartwatch or fitness tracker. The 42mm model isn’t terribly bulky and fits my wrist well. I’ve had a few minor brushes and knocks wearing this on my wrist and so far the watch has held up very well. The screen sits below the bezel, which helps to keep it from scratching, and the rotating ring and the buttons are both very solid and clicky. I wasn’t that happy with the silicone wristband that comes with the watch; I could never quite get the right fit and it always seemed like it was either too tight or too loose. Fortunately, any 20mm watch band will work with the Galaxy Watch and I was able to find another one that I’m very happy with. There was a small learning curve for me to navigate the interface of the watch, but once I got it everything felt very natural. The entire outside bezel acts as a scroll wheel and it makes it really easy to navigate the smaller screen. The screen is also bright and sharp and I’ve seen no noticeable stutters in performance while using the watch. The battery life is excellent; I’ve got through the end of each day with 50+% battery left. The onboard apps are all very good, especially Samsung Health. All the basics are there including phone, calendar, alarms, music, etc. How much you want to interact with those things on such a small screen is up to you, but Samsung does a good job of laying them out. My biggest problem with the Galaxy Watch is Bixby, the built-in assistant. It’s just terrible, but it's the only thing available for the Samsung phone . It misunderstands me about 50% of the time and the voice is very robotic. I know Samsung has a lot invested in Bixby, which give me hope that it might get better over time, but it’s got a long way to go. Overall I’m happy with everything this watch has to offer and it’s the one I wear every day now. I think it’s a great choice for anyone with an Android phone.

This is How You Do It Google...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Been with LG watches since Wear OS came out. Bought this after the LG Watch W7 debacle. Very nice. Paired great with my Pixel 3, then decided to accessorize with a Note 9. After years of avoiding Apple and Samsung, I'm all in with the good guys. Light, handsome but nondescript, battery life amazing, easy to read, easy to navigate. Nice job Samsung, sorry I doubted you.

Good with a few quirks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a really great looking watch. I wear it almost everyday and most days I can get all the way through until pretty much the next day with the battery life. I've only had it for about a month so we'll have to see how the battery lasts after a lot of use but so far it's been very good. The watch itself works as advertised it is able to give me all my notifications without issue and I can have phone conversations through it if I need to. All in all

Loving This Smart Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For my first smart watch experience, my husband bought me a designer brand watch but the user experience was not that great. I ended up using the watch just to tell time and it always ran out of batteries halfway through the day. This experience really turned me off of smart watches because I couldn't justify spending such a high amount for a timepiece. When I bought this Samsung Galaxy Watch, it was on sale for a great price and I had low expectations of it. Since then, my opinions of smart watches have changed. I can receive calls from my watch, read emails, get reminders of my appointments, and it even tells me to get up and move around if I've been sitting for too long. The best thing is that the battery lasts all day and it still has about 30% left when I get home. Not to mention that it looks great. I really love this watch and hope to get one for my husband. My only concern is of the charging feature. Sometimes in the mornings, it may be at 90% charged. I am not sure if it is charging to 100% and then stopping, and then from that time until the morning, it is slowly using battery. I have had to get into the habit of checking the battery when I wake up and setting it back into the charging port to charge while I get ready for work.

Awesome smart watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works with the iphone and the battery is so much better than the Apple watch. You can buy great after market bands for the watch that you can dress up or down and they are very simple to remove and replace. Looks like a normal watch and not something from Star Trek. It's a bit thick (wish it was a bit thinner), but most smart watches seem to be a bit thick.
