Its smaller than the Gear 3 and not as bulky huge plus. It's about the same as the Gear 3 however its smaller that most would enjoy. It also has a few more sensors in the back making it a little more accurate as well. It's also light to wear. I enjoy wearing this watch.

I like the size initially I thought it was too big for my arm but no, is my first smart watch but I get used to it easy. The speaker sounds good, I really like it.

This is my first wearable device. Since I’ve had several Galaxy Smartphones in the past, I was very pleased to try the watch. So far, I’m very happy with it. It has several, about 10-12, different watch faces to choose from depending on your preference for look and readability. I’m actually using the Gear MD103 digital watch face which I purchased for just $.99 on the Samsung App. I like this watch face because it’s easy to see and has all the functions and shortcuts I need most of the time. I took a picture of the Gear watch face which I’ll include with this review. I do a lot of walking so this face is perfect for me. It measures, HR, steps, calories, battery %, distance walked, % of goal reached and more. The sound features can be changed, just like my smartphone, to different included ringtones, vibration, theater mode and mute. I have mine set to vibrations only as long as I’m wearing it. The text is easy to read and the fonts can be changed to small, medium or large. The large font I find is the best and with the text being lit up, I have no problems reading my messages, emails, etc. It comes with several installed apps with the ability to add a few more. I like the fact that with just a turn of the bezel, I can access all my apps and functions. The corresponding app on my smartphone makes it easy for me to access all the settings and notifications. These can also be accessed on the watch as well. I have my calendar synced between my watch and smartphone so no matter where I am, I can see all my scheduled events on my watch. One of the best features is the ability to use both Bluetooth and WiFi. I like the wifi so that I can still access all the functions on my watch when I leave my phone at home, providing there is a wifi signal nearby. Pros: - Long battery life – so far I’ve used it for almost 48 hours and it’s still at 40%. - Interchangeable watch faces - Size of the watch itself – being a woman it’s big enough to see, but not too big to be unfashionable. - East of accessing apps - Find phone feature - Text messaging – predictable text works well, and there are also preprogrammed texts that you can add to - Adjustable font sizes – small, medium and large Cons: - No camera (maybe next time?) - A little on the hefty side, about the same weight as a sports watch - Limitation of # of apps that can be installed All in all for my first wearable I’m pleased with it. There are a lot more pros than cons. I recommend this watch for all of it’s pros. The cons are negligible.

This is my second smartwatch, my other is a Gear S3 Frontier. I like them both a lot, but prefer the smaller size (42mm) of the rose gold Galaxy Watch. I'm a guy, and I feel the rose gold watch looks great on men or women, although I did replace the supplied beige band with some darker ones. The Galaxy watch is a ton of fun to use. Thousands of great watch faces are available for download. It will record your steps, and track a large number of types of workouts. I use it to track my walks and bike rides, and it does a great job. It will also report your local weather, and provide a variety of notifications from your phone. You can make and receive phone calls with the watch and it works great for that.

My old Timex died, so I needed a new watch anyway. I had been waiting for the new Samsung because I felt that the previous model looked too large on me. This one is the 42mm size and it looks and feels just right.It does everything that I wanted, including seeing texts and emails, alarms, and tracking steps and heart rate. Besides being a great looking watch with all of the choices of watch faces.

I love my watch because I received as a gift. I am a tech person and this is smaller than other versions more feminine options. fits perfect have my apps working, calls, texts, everything. when I am working I can see a quick check only moving a little bit my wrist.

I am a small woman with medium sized hands and this watch is the perfect size. Its extremely functional but it does get a bit laggy on startup at times. Great battery life

I got this for my son (I got the larger, 46mm for me). I love the size and look of this watch. I'm tall, but the larger one is still a little too large for me (I got it for the extra day of battery life). This one still gets 2-3 days of battery life, but my son tends to charge it every night. We like the features. In particular, we like that we can receive and send texts and phone calls (though sending texts is a bit hard). Similar for emails (easy to see them, but hard to reply). I turned off email notifications because I get too many (and it drains the battery faster for both the watch and phone). I do like getting calendar notifications.

Excellent battery life and features. The 42mm is perfect for medium size wrist. Very satisfied. Has different dial designs to select from and mostly you will never need to pay to download new dials unless there is something you really like to do. I am happy with all the available options there. The best feature is able to take and make calls from the watch. Since it's a non-LTE watch(doesn't have SIM), your watch has to be near the Bluetooth range of you watch-mobile to stay connected and make or receive calls or to send or receive texts and messages.

The watch is absolutely amazing, very feminine. I have such a small wrist, all the other watches were too big for me but this one fits PERFECT! And the color? ILOVE IT!

Too many features to describe.... I love that I can add apps to the watch like Tide Charts that are customized to my own needs. Easy to use and change order of apps on the watch. You can answer phone calls and texts without the phone being out which is a great feature when u cant get to ur phone right away. Charge lasts awhile but I just put it on the charger each night. I like that I can change the straps to a different style to change the look the watch. Face is big but not too big... I adjusted to it easily.

Glad I waited for this version. Excellent battery life. So many functions and look like a regular watch. Size for me is perfect

Elegant, comfortable, great battery life, easy to use and customize. 42mm is large but not overly so. Highly recommend.

I love Samsung and have the S10 Plus. I previously had the Gear S3 which I loved except for the fact it was too big. I just recently when I got my phone got the Galaxy Watch and it's as good as the Gear S3 but smaller. I had the classic in the S3 and this has the buttons more like the Frontier and I love it! I can still answer calls and talk and get text and other stuff. I recommend this watch and it's smaller and looks much better. I bought a new band and I am good to go.

I'm in love with this watch. Just bought the Galaxy S9 a few months ago and I've always wanted a smartwatch. Thought it would be a good purchase and it ended up being great one. The watch is very versatile and you truly can make it yours. The 42mm is big enough, in my opinion. And the midnight black looks super slick. Definitely impressed.

My Samsung S3 quit working. So I purchased the Samsung Galaxy 42mm. Decided I wanted the 46mm, because of the size and battery capacity. I really like the new watch. It works great. I haven't tried to see how long the battery last, but it last longer than s3 did. I have a Samsung S6 phone and the new double charger and all works well.
