Purchase watch was given a box but turned out NO WATCH was in the box.

Battery Life was horrible, I returned it before my 15 days were up.

It was okay for a few days but wasn't comfortable to wear all day.

Return didn't step out of building watch was not virizon lte

This smart watch looks absolutely beautiful in rose gold. I got the 42mm. I'm a small woman with small wrists and it is not heavy. It fits perfectly. I've had the watch for 3 days now and I haven't had to charge it past the initial charge when I received it. The battery has lasted 3 days so far and it says there's still 9 hours left. I turned off the wifi since I would never use that anyway. I don't wear my watch when I sleep so I turn it off at night. Everything else I've kept the same. I dont receive calls, notifications, or messages all day long so maybe that helps with the battery life. I've noticed that it takes a while before it begins to count steps but it seems to still input those steps once it begins. I bought it for a good price for Black Friday. I would recommend this smartwatch.

Pros: I was anxiously awaiting the announcement of this watch! I watched the pre launch to check the release date so I could preorder. On release date,I was at the store to pick it up my 42 mm rose gold watch. It is a really beautiful watch...I have many high end watches, but this one is my favorite! I have the Gear fit 2 but really needed the waterproof feature and a microphone to answer calls. I was almost wishing I had an Apple phone to get an Apple Watch,even though I love my S9+! I swim every day and I’m not someone who walks around with my phone glued to my hand). I researched every fitness watch and either they were not waterproof or didn’t have the ability to answer calls, so I was excited that this had everything I needed! My Galaxy Watch has been getting about 2.5-3 days on a charge,which is great-better than an Apple Watch! This watch is so pretty that most people don’t realize it is a fitness watch that has so many neat features, and I have gotten many compliments. There are many beautiful Watch faces to choose from- even a Michael Kors one! I also use the MyFitnessPal app and was given a free 1 year membership for purchasing the watch. Cons: I only have 2 cons but I don’t think would be an issue for most... I wish that it would sync better with the Mood messaging app I use...they show up but not automatically. I really don’t love the Samsung messaging app. My second point to take note of, is that it does take a while to charge. My Gear fit 2 was fully charged in less than an hour..this watch takes much longer to charge. Neither is a deal breaker IMO. You can’t go wrong with this watch if you want a classy looking watch with fitness features!

This is, in my opinion, the best looking smart watch that doesn't cost a mortgage payment. Unfortunately, the functions of the watch do not live up to the same expectations. My biggest gripes of this watch are the heart rate monitor, step counter, and Wi-Fi connection. The heart rate monitor pretty much decides when it wants to work. It seems to have trouble reading higher heart rates during exercise and also reading heart rate while sweating, which pretty much making useless as a fitness watch. Step counter seems to read quite a bit lower then other fitness watches. Connecting to the phone is no problem, however connecting to Wi-Fi can be difficult. When I am at the gym and I want to use their Wi-Fi oh, I have to connect through a portal. You cannot do this on the Galaxy watch. It will only connect to a saved Wi-Fi profile that you have on your phone.... sometimes. I was hoping to use the gym's Wi-Fi to listen to music from The Watch but that is not possible. I hates that these downfalls are part of this because I really like the looks of the watch. It's a shame I'm going to have to return it soon

Overall great watch. You can tell a lot of thought went into the design, but there are some most details missed. Not sure if its my wrist or the way I wear the watch but the heart rate monitor is off. I do a lot of running, jumping, burpee, jumping jack, push up etc when I work out. My other heart rate monitor is able to measure my HR but the Samsung is off. Battery life is about 1 to 2 days at most, with 1 hour of exercise each day. Wish it was longer, dont like charging it everyday. Pedometer work once you start swinging your arms. Pushing a stroller or crossing your arms wont register the steps. With these short coming I still would recommend this watch to my friends. Nothing is perfect but it can be close.

For what I use it for, it works quite well. Workouts, reminders, quick texts response with decent (although worse than Google) voice dictation, calendar overviews, and alarms/timers. The rotating bezels really make it a joy to use. On top of that I lose maybe 40% battery life by the end of the day (0700 to 2200). I could possibly get two days, but it would be close. Bixby is trash tbh, the only thing stopping the watch from being an amazing device is the lack of Google assistant (or at least Alexa). I would love to be able to use an assistant to control my smart home, but for now I'll have to reach into my pocket to pull out my phone like a scrub.

Coming from the Gear S2, I was excited to get the new Galaxy Watch. From a design perspective, it looks really smart, and it's well built. The setup is much smoother then the prior Gear devices, so that was a nice surprise. But unfortunately, the step counter does not work. The device sometimes does not count steps, but overall, it captures only a fraction of my step related activity. I wore both watches (the Gear S2) and the Gear captured all steps, while the Galaxy Watch did not. Called Samsung support, and frankly they were clueless. They told me to reset the device, which I did just to check that box, knowing it would make no difference. Probably will have to return this device, but I will wait a few weeks to see if Samsung provides a software update to fix this issue.

Got the rose gold and have received so many compliments! Looks gorgeous, great price and easy to navigate. Love getting messages/calls and alerts without having to have my phone. Still need to figure out a great running app.

Over all, I like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm much better than my last Samsung gear watch. The watch is more responsive and streamlined then the other watch was. It seems to have a lot more features with texting and fitness, like checking how many calories I burned and offering suggestions on how to maximize workouts. The only thing I have a complain about would be the wrist band slips a lot on my wrist, especially when I'm being active.

Got this for my sister and it’s lasted longer than my Apple Watches. Getting her another one for Christmas this year 6 yrs later.

My title is a bit extreme, I know. But, my new watch is amazing. It does everything my fit bit blaze did and more, which is precisely why I started looking at it in the 1st place. Heath: - It tracks my; calories, caffeine, floors,food, steps, sleep, & water intake - Measures my stress and heart rate - Built in workouts and breathing exercises - Can complete challenges with friends and family Convenience: - Can Text, Call, Email, Play games - Samsung Pay - FIND MY PHONE & FIND MY WATCH - Music - Weather - Reminders/Calendar/Daily Agenda - World Clock/Alarm/Timer/Clock - Search the web - View images in all messages and emails Misc. Awesome: - Changeable watch faces - The batter is pretty good too. Lasts a full day+. All in all I have nothing bad to say about this watch except for the fact that it does cost a lot. I'm frugal, what can I say.

L:oved it for 3 years... then... First it began to loose its 2 day charge, A few weeks later it stayed on. Constantly. Did not select always on... checked it... on and off, reboot. etc.. A couple of weeks later the Bezel / controler fell off. Selfdestructed, literally. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.

Lasted a VERY long time. The 4th gen actually looks a lot like it. It's still completely functional and relatively up to date despite its age. Very reliable smart watch.

Over 5 years of daily use and still fine. Has some scuffs but i still prefer this style with the bezels rather than the new ones with no bezel. Also youre able to buy a different band for more customization.
