The Samsung Galaxy Watch 42mm is a watch that fits great (on my wrist) and it looks good, but if you want to get it, my advice is to wait for a sale.

Fantastic watch that does just about everything I need it to. Great for tracking workouts.

I bought the Galaxy Watch 42mm. I bought this smartwatch. About 2wks ago. I really tried to like this smartwatch. With it's rotation bezel. But my main complaint is. All the reviews said two days battery life. At first that was true. But over the last couple of days. I only get one day battery life. Thats with no wifi, no downloaded music. Don't buy it's a waste of money.

I love the watch. Love the fact that I can talk and text without taking out my phone.

I love Samsung smartwatches and was super excited to get my hands on the new 42mm rose gold version. Yet, I was disppointed with the size of the watch on my small wrist. The back of the watch sits up too high, resulting in the watch being too bulky. I wish Samsung would take this design flaw in consideration particarly for women with smaller wrists.

Returning it. Cons- - Regularly looses connection with my phone and goes to "standalone" mode, need to reset phone to get it to pair. - HR monitor blows. Set on "read every 10", i look at my wrist and it hasn't read it for an hour. When I manually try to read heart rate, 60% of the time it says "clean your sensor". When on "always on" mode it looses beat regularly, for instance, leaving it in always on mode while sleeping so i can get REM, etc. it doesn't work because it looses the beats. - BIXBY BLOWS!. Arguing with your wrist to send a message defeats the purpose. SAMSUNG, buck up and use Google Voice. - Forces you to use Samsung Apps which all suck. For instance, normal gmail app on my phone sorts out promotions, social, spam emails. Samsung doesn't, so the watch gets all the spam. The only issue i have is tracking my steps it is not accurate at all. I only had the watch on for 2 hours and a it logged 2640 steps and 1400 calories burned while i was driving. IOverall the (42mm) fits nice and the screen looks amazing.

I love this watch for the most part. However I was very disappointed when after 5 months of ownership I was informed by customer support that they couldn't fix my watch under warranty because of water damage. I had only worn it in the shower. Apparently water resistant means don't get it near water at all. Not my definition of resistant.

Elegance with quality, this a must have watch. My wife loves this one. You choice will be admired for sure.

Love the beautiful face of this watch as it mimics a real face dial. Bad thing is the pedometer is HIGHLY inaccurate. My old Samsung Gear S pictured on left was more reliable. Im praying an update comes out to make it more accurate even tho they claim there is no problem with it. The sensors are NOT very accurate either. Watch says I slept only 2 days this week. Have read same problems on other sites. This watch makes a beautiful accessory if you can overlook the pedometer/sensors not being accurate.

I know this device isn't supposed to be used for health monitoring, but I still expect some sort of accuracy. It records me as sleeping when I am sitting at my desk doing homework, counts half the amount of steps that I actually take and always reads my heart rate high. I have the blue tooth model and it only sometimes sends the texts from the watch, very unreliable and annoying that I have to check my phone to make sure the text sent. The Do Not Disturb function doesn't work, it still vibrates and the screen lights up. Overall extremely dissatisfied and aggravated I spent so much on a faulty device.

I got a new rose gold galaxy watch on 8/24/2018 and the hr just stops working even tho I have it on ALWAYS mode. It stops working for a long time and just keeps saying measuring but nothing never happens then I have to cut it off and on or change the mode to NEVER then back to ALWAYS mode to make hr sensor start back working. I see some moderators sayin check this and do that but its the watch NOT THE USER! Then how in the world do people I never met end up having the same hr issue. SAMSUNG PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE! I spoke wit samsung thru chat and they said exchange it so i got another brand new rose gold galaxy watch on 9/6/18 and the hr is still not working correctly. I spoke to samsung over the phone about the 2nd watch and they can not provide me nooooo help and its frustrating! I have done all the troubleshooting [master reset, powered off/on, unpair from phone, etc] on both watches but that does not help none at all. I have never had this issue wit my samsung s1, s2, s3 classic, or s3 frontier so I do not know what to think. Samsung needs to dig deep in this issue and try to push out a softwarw update and see if it fixes the issue cuse its very frustrating to have such a nice, beautiful, sleek, classy watch that can't perform one of my favorite, most basic actions like heart mode always on. I have been reading the comments posted here and I see some advice people are offering BUT I should not have to cut elliptical off and cut always mode off because I did not have to do those things on the other 4 samsung watches I own! The moderator offered some advice and I can tell them all the stuff they saying will not solve this issue cuse this is an internal hardware or software samsung issue within the new galaxy watches [IT IS NOT THE USER] and I would kindly appreciate it if they would own up to the issue and fix it!

I bought this watch 8 months ago. I liked it a lot, it's fun & easy to use. I bought it to use it on my fitness journey. I followed directions when I used it for swimming in a pool & dried it properly when I was finished. So the watch quick working & I sent it to Samsung. They would fix it for $200 claiming it is water damaged. I am very unhappy since I used it properly according to their directions.

The Galaxy 42" Rose Gold watch seems pretty great. Unfortunately, I bought open box. The band is filthy and reeks of cheap perfume. The bezel also had a dent. My Gear 2 Sport which I've had for over two years is less disgusting. So gross even the box smells.

Pre ordered and was a little bigger than I expected but giving it a chance. My biggest disappoint is the battery life with having to seriously having to charge it every 48hrs is why I am giving it a 2.

Did anyone tell the Best Buy reviewer it's 2019? So far, I'm at the conclusion the Samsung wearables DO NOT function well without a Samsung phone. Trying to be Apple, but as they're trying to be the competition: they are losing market share. What's up with these tech GIANTS? Make a functional device that does what it is advertised to do. Products sell themselves...don't be greedy. But seriously dude, the high side cut, ponytail was out of style in '98... Goatees are a double negative...three strikes you're out buddy.... Just sayin
