It did not have any effect on it. I am the opposite of graceful and because of that I smack this thing against various surface on a daily basis....not a scratch on it. This thing could potentially survive being dropped into a volcano. 5 stars and would buy again ..... But I won't need to because this thing will probably never stop working.
