As long as my phone is within a reasonable range, i use my watch for texts and calls. Do yourself a favor and limit it to that type of communication only or you'll receive a bunch of notifications constantly. If you lay on the watch or cover it accidently it will disconnect briefly and vibrate as a warning. Can be irritating but that's ok.

It was a gift for my wife so it's a little bigger than she would have wanted, but she likes it. Would have liked it to be flatter on her wrist like the Apple watch. The watch seems to disconnect from her phone every once in a while and has trouble reconnecting. The battery life is less than a day with only notifications being used. She doesn't use the texting as much or phone calls.

Decent functionality - hard to find quality straps in different colors and materials. A little cumbersome to use. Actions like sliding on the screen to close or turning the bezel isn't exactly user friendly. Works well with apple and samsung phones(actually works better with an iphone than a galaxy note) charges quickly, battery life not too good.
