After testing it out, i realized that it simply didn't have enough fitness related apps, so returned it and got a Garmin fenix 5. The samsung watch was great, however, both stylish and attactive.

It worked for less then a day and the same thing happened. They replaced it with an open box watch that would not turn on. That one was replaced with a new watch, so far so good. Fingers crossed.

Sent in for repair under the warranty and was told that I owed ~$200 to fix it as it was damaged by water. This thing was supposed to be compatable with swimming casually and rated to 5atm, but apparently Samsung voids warranty when failure is due to water. Really odd given it's advertised for swimming, literature says its rated to 5atm, etc, but the warranty is voided if you going in the water and it fails. AVOID!!! Posting here as Samsung deletes my reviews on their page.
