I got this for my son in college and he's in love.

I had a gear fit 2 before this. I like this so far.

Nice watch overall but some features don't work at all (altimeter, flight of stairs counter) and others like weather don't continuously update. This means getting out your phone and opening weather to get current.

this is my second one, the sensor on the back of the face came off the first one, appeared to be due to cheap glue and bad design. pretty sure the same thing is going to happen again as it looks to be degrading already

Good watch but sad that not even a month the marking on the face had worn off. For the price that should have happen. Doesn't keep accurate steps and just goes into workout mode numerous times a day for no reason even while sitting still.

It's much faster and shiner than my old Gear S3 Classic, but it no longer has the MST capability and only offers NFC. So if you, like me, are an Apple user and were hoping to get the Samsung Pay with MST, you should look for another Samsung watch.

I bought this for my dad since it's an "Android-operated." He has a Motorola phone. He can send texts to people via this watch, but cannot send them. Not only can he not send them, there is no app/icon where he can even display/read them. That defeats like 90% of having a watch. I bought him this so he would reply promptly to my texts, haha! They should make it clear that this feature will not work unless being used with a Samsung phone. The price I paid for not being able to use this feature is insane. They need to change this. I tried to figure it out for a good hour or so until I read online that it wasn't compatible. So frustrating. Well, Samsung was thinking about getting even more money when they did this because now he's going to have to buy a Samsung phone in order to be able to send AND receive texts on this watch.

It’s a beautiful watch but super bulky and heavy. Made my wrist hurt and it can’t do as much on it. My husband liked his aside from not a lot to do on it. We returned them and ended up getting Apple series 4 watches (best technology we own).

After three months this watch is not a work out watch. The GPS is off a lot of the times and the HR monitor is terrible. If you get one drip of sweat on your wrist, which most people do while working out, it does not calculate correctly at all. It is 40-50bps off for most workouts and is very disappointing. If you are looking for a watch to work out with.. do not buy this one. If you are looking for a watch that does your steps, messages and other basic things, this is a watch for you.

I have the Samsung Gear Frontier and I have it trade in. However I am disappointed because it doesnt connect very well and one time the screen disappear. I thought what happen. Got to return it.

in my opinion it seems like their is not much u can do with this watch, vs apple watch series 3 that i had previous used. notification is not that fluid at all. for my daily use of it was useless except for tracking time

The screen on this watch is great and looks amazing. Unfortunately all the fitness function of the watch rarely ever work correctly. The GPS is way off using either map my run or the samsung health app. The heart rate sensor rarely ever works and you I cant even add my external chest strap. A few days I've had the watch it just stopped tracking my steps and the floors climbed function has never worked for me. You can email samsung but it's just a robot response so sadly it looks like I'll be returning this soon.

This is my second smart watch. I also have a Garmin fenix 3. If you are using this watch for activity tracking buy a different watch. Buy a grain. The galaxy watch world good for messages, and notifications, and apps.

The watch is good works well. I didn't even have it a full year and the screen got hit barely and it cracked. Over all still a good product just watch where your arm goes.

Good watch with great features. Only problem is it doesn't calculate calories burned during the day. Used to have an app but has been deleted. Samsung doesn't care.

My only issue with this watch is that when I turn my wrist to see the time, the watch doesn't Turn on. I need to move my arm down and then try to read the time again. Also, I believe this watch is over priced.

Not for me. I have a pixel 2 xl , so trying to use Samsung watch software was a pain. Beautiful watch, but the software isn't for me. Took the watch back and got a gen 5 fossil. No regrets.

Waste of money had such a problem connecting them to my phone, couldn't leave my phone home and still get my phone calls
