When functioning the watch is fine. However, after 1 year and 3 months, it blacked out! Nothing! Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty or I would have been stuck with an expensive piece of Nothing.

It has never been exposed to water, even though it is advertised as waterproof. Today, in the middle of the work day, it just quit. It shows it is charging, and has 73% battery, and the watch will not boot. When i perform the reboot, it comes up to the "samsung galaxy watch" boot screen, then cuts off again. I have contacted Samsung support, and they told me it would need repair, and I could send it in for an estimate. For a watch of this price, this is ridiculous. I normally hold Samsung in pretty high regard, but this was a poor purchase decision on my part.

Best buy will not process the repair claim to the manufacturer and makes it the customers responsibility. So I now have to spend time looking up how to file a claim with the manufacturer after wasting time going and meeting with the geek squad. They only wanted to use the 2 year protection plan to do an exchange after 5 months, which I was also informed after i sued the protection plan, it was no longer good. I would need to purchase another protection plan. So really the issue is not with the watch, hope that gets fixed. it is the customer service with Best Buy. I might as well bought this watch on-line from a random site.

This is our second Galaxy Smartwatch. Both watches had mechanical failures associated with the pulse/hr apparatus. The workmanship has to improve.

You have to get the extended warranty for it. The new one has a better battery, but it freezes up a lot. If you don't have to have a Samsung get something else and save yourself a headache
