This is my first smart watch so I do not have a lot to compare against but I do like my Galaxy Smart Watch very much. It was easy to set up, pretty easy to figure out how to download apps and while there is not a huge selection of apps available, I have been able to find 95% of what I was hoping to find - and I am optimistic that more apps will arrive as sales improve.

For it's time when I bought it, it was great. Replaced with newer model

10/10 would buy again. Great step up from the gear s3. Call clarity is amazing when on the phone! Stylish and comfortable! The bezel is so satisfying to twist, and the buttons allow you to access Samsung Pay (NFC technology) as well as Bixby. Overall amazing watch! Can't wait for the LTE version !

Great smart watch. The best one I have ever owned.

I've owned both an apple watch and the galaxy watch. The galaxy watch has excellent battery life and just does things so much better than the apple watch. I've been an apple fan for years, but Samsung products just do more than apples.

My first purchase was an open box item and I quickly realized it wasn't tracking all my steps. After an hour long boot camp workout, it said I only burned 200 calories. The heart rate monitor would stop tracking even though it was set to continuously monitor. Contacted Samsung support and was told to take it back and get another one. I did that and the same thing occurred. It was terrible with counting stairs and there were a lot in Italy.....Leaning Tower of Pisa and not one floor counted!!! After I returned to the states and hit the gym, it said I climbed 61 floors and I hadn't climbed any. It vibrated when it lost connectivity to the phone even though they were in the same room. Because of the HRM issues, sleep tracking wasn't tracked accurately. Loved the other features, but I wanted a good activity tracker as well. Samsung support was not helpful. Returned the second one as well.

LOVE it but it's being returned. I love everything about this watch except the size. . . it is too HUGE! I've had the S2 Classic watch for a few years and really like it. It's my birthday so thought I'd treat myself to a new watch. This watch has so many neat features that my old watch does not. but I just cannot see myself wearing this monster. It is huge and sticks up too high. Would absolutely love if Samsung would give me some updates to my S2, or make something that isn't gigantic. Disappointed that I have to return my gift!

All of the reviews talking about how horrible the steps counting was almost stopped me from buying this watch. But I figured if i'm going to wear something, I wanted it to be as useful as possible and hey, this is what Return Policies are for. I can't speak to accuracy throughout the day for routine movement, but I can testify that when taking 3 mile walks, the watch was almost dead on with my phone's step counter (in fact, it counted a few more steps than the phone). The heartrate monitor also worked great. The ability to quicky see current speed, heartrate, distance traveled and elapsed time all at a glance is super helpful for keeping me motivated to hit my goal! The setup was stupid easy. I just followed the prompts and within a few minutes I was synced up with my phone, getting texts, emails from all my accounts, calendar notifications and more. I've yet to find a thing I don't like. The display is gorgeous and the interface is intuitive and easy to use. I had a first generation Samsung watch years ago and it was collecting dust within weeks. These Smartwatches have come a long way.

Good watch bought it as a gift for my dad! He loved it! Wears it everyday!

They added some new apps to it where the Sleep tracker is now being tracked solo now instead of the activity face app. The watch is faster but the OS design has not changed from the Frontier. The issues people are having for steps, they are accurate on the watch after doing a workout for a week. You can't compare the phone steps to the watch since both have different tracking sensors. Comparing to Fitbit and the watch on steps I can't confirm since I never used a fitbit before. Overall it is a good watch. If you are looking to stay in the new, get this watch. The battery performance I seen it last longer but not much. The watch lasted the same amount of days as my frontier if you kept the vibrate on for the Watch and turned off for the frontier. If you turn off the vibration and adjust brightness of the watch your battery will last 10% longer. I tested it on 2 charges and the Galaxy Watch does beat the Frontier on battery. I went back to the frontier. I would love to see how LTE goes on the battery usage on Galaxy Watch.

I am very satisfied with this watch. I just bought it today and let me tell you. I couldn't be happier. Best money I have ever spent. I would recommend if you are looking for a great smart watch for you kids or family. This is the one to get.
