||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far the overall take away is I like the Watch. The only issue I have is the rotating bezel while it does what it is supposed to, it gets a gritty feeling sometimes when I turn it, which I am not sure if it from work or something inside. After a few turns it seems to clear up. I use the watch for notifications and to track my runs. (map my run app) it seems to be pretty on point. Just may have to flip the wrist a few times to get it to come on. One thing the software Samsung health seems to track it also even though I didn't turn it on which will cause multiple runs to be tracked. Battery life is great 2 full days no issues. Overall great smart watch.

Awesome upgrade!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this to replace a 3-yr old Garmin smartwatch that had done the trick but was tired. I have smaller wrists but the 46mm still looks fantastic on my wrist - despite appearances, it's not particularly heavy or bulky. Still rocking a Galaxy S8, this watch found it immediately and paired all appropriate data and permission requests seamlessly. I immediately hopped on my phone and downloaded some nifty new watch faces, which again worked flawlessly. I love the rotating bezel, it has just enough tightness to keep it from accidentally sliding through routine use but is easy enough to flick with a fingertip. Plus, unlike the Apple Watch the bezel is raised to protect the screen from impacts, which will likely sustain the Gorilla Glass indefinitely. Being able to adjust virtually every facet of the watch's operation is a plus, so if you're battery-conscious you can make it as simple as a plain old watch and last for considerably longer. Me, I've charged it twice to full over the course of nine days. Not too bad, and it charges incredibly fast so don't let that worry you. The band itself is decent - thought the rubber was a bit chintzy at first but it's comfortable and doesn't rip out arm hairs. Plus there's a million replacement options on Amazon. The fitness tracker aspect I haven't really put thru the paces but I like the fact that it's totally waterproof and bugs me when I'm overly idle - even picks up on the "activity" when I'm throwing baseballs with my son. And finally, I get to live out those Dick Tracy fantasies of yesteryear with the mic and speaker built in - I've had several conversations with folks over the watch itself and it's everything you hopes it would be - tinny (because of the tiny speaker) but clear, and quickly gets tiring holding your wrist to your face...but hey, it's cool! All in all, I have no complaints, this is an upgrade in every way for me.

Good for transitioning into a Smart Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A great digital/smart watch all around, though I've only had it for about 6 weeks. I wish it came with a printed product manual which explained the main features/capabilities and how to navigate the watch's operating system. However, I've had to learn by trial & error, using the buttons & dial. It has been a frustrating process because its often not intuitive. That said, I love the watch face (visual) options, all the built in alerts, the notification of calls/messages, etc. and the its battery power (up to 4 to 5 days with normal use). This Samsung galaxy watch has met most of my expectations (& the newer ones I'm still figuring out !), & I'm happy with my purchase.

Sweet watch with good battery life
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is great! I am able to get a couple of days use before I need to charge it. The watch faces you can download from Samsung's app are really cool. There are hundreds if not thousands of free ones that can make the watch your own. I also found that you can text back with the watch which is really handy. You actually draw the letters on the watch face It! It was easy to setup on my Samsung Galaxy S9.

Best smartwatch so far
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was purchased to replace my Gear S3 Frontier and within the first week I could definitely tell the difference in technology. At first I wasn't happy with the stainless steel silver look, but with the bezzel and the metal band I have for it from my Gear S3, it is perfect with any outfit. The battery life is phenominal, usally 4-6 days depending on use before I have to charge it again and it charges very quickly, maybe 2 hours.

WOW... just WOW
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After owning an Apple Watch for years I thought I would never find a replacement device. This is the answer we have been waiting for on android. I got on average 4 days battery life and 5 days if I had light usage. I was using this on a Pixel 2XL with zero issues. It just worked and worked great at that!! Picked up some replacement bands to add some flair when I want. I love this watch!

Great smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Galaxy Watch is Samsung's most refined smartwatch due to its helpful fitness tracking and four-day battery life – if you opt for the larger 46mm size that we liked and recommend. All of this is packaged inside a sophisticated-looking circular silver-and-black smartwatch that has a rotating bezel for effortless menu navigation. Be warned, third-party apps are lacking and its iOS support is limited if you're using an iPhone. This is best for Samsung fans.

Best Samsung watch yet
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Have had this watch since March and I've really loved it. Looks fantastic, display is bright in sunlight, and the battery life is awesome! Regularly go 5 days with over 20% juice left (and off). I don't use most of the fitness stuff so can't speak to those functions. I use it mainly for notifications, controlling my music, news/weather, and as a watch. Biggest pros for me: battery life, looks, and reliability (have had no issues since I got it). Only con is that it's a little large and bulky for me and have knocked it on things quite a bit. Will be trying the 44mm galaxy active2 to see if it fits better but will miss the long battery life of my galaxy watch!

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Girlfriends idea. I didnt think i would like a smartwatch of any kind as i never saw the point. This watch has certainly changed my opinion. Im a finish carpenter so my phone is always hooked to the back of my tool belt. It was never a problem reaching back there when i got a text or someone called. Now that i have this watch i dont need to do that anymore. Its one of those situations where you ask yourself how did i ever get by without it. This watch can do pretty much what my phone can. Talk to text, email, weather ,news . Also with the built in mic i can use the watch like a regular phone for conversations while im working. Even the fitness and health readings are interesting. Its actually helped me with my stress level as it sort of tells me to ease back. As far as looks go its a good size. Looks good and the bezel that you can turn to select what you want to do on the phone is smooth. Comfortwise it is a little heavier than im used to but im getting used to that as well. My only drawback with this watch is the strap. Considering the caliber of the watch itself the strap is a letdown. Its almost like the strap was a last minute thing. Its made out of a flexible latex which i dont think is going to hold up to well for very long. Apart from that this watch is a good addition for people who have theyre hands full. Even the gallery comes in handy.

Great SmartWatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great watch almost perfect I believe most people will give this a 5 star rating. I didn't because I believe that the crystal should be made of sappire crystal instead of gorilla glass I believe gorilla glass is over rated for the money we get alot of stuff in this watch like a speaker heart rate monitor and so on plus the Tizen system which works alot better then andriod some days I can get 1.5 to 2 days of battery life. I have a TAG CONNECTED 2 which I have to charge sometimes 2 times a day that has no heart rate monitor or a speaker and cost way more money then the Samsung galaxy watch.

Exceeded my expectations
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned previously the samsung s7 edge and with it I had the samsung gear s2 smart watch. At the time I was pleased with both the phone and the watch, but not blown away by the watch. I then had switched to apple for a few years and owned the 7+ and the iPhone X along with the nike Apple Watch series 2. I enjoyed the X but I feel that it didn't truly live up to the hype, however I did grow extremely accustomed to my Apple Watch. I decided to jump ship after reading great reviews about the S9+ and man were they right. Absolutely adore the phone, but then came the problem of needing a new watch. I decided to wait it out a few months knowing that Samsung was going to be releasing their first new watch since the s3. Best decision I've ever made. While I cannot speak for the S3, I can say that the galaxy watch has made me forget about my Apple Watch already. Love the features, the build screams quality and durability and its more masculine in my opinion then the Apple Watch. I did not think I was going to like the silver but I wanted the 46mm instead of the 42mm and I am glad I got it. Its stunning in person, pictures don't do it justice you must see it to truly appreciate it. The black band was nice but not my style, so I purchased an authentic samsung s3 band in orange/red that easily hooked up to my galaxy watch. Im very pleased with Samsung. I feel that ever since the whole "battery incident" with the note a few years ago, they really stepped it up and are providing a superior product to apple. Thanks samsung for the great watch.

Great battery life!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Writing this review after 1 year of ownership. Great battery life and no deterioration observed over the past year. I never need to carry a charger for a weekend trip, this is at full functionality not in power saving mode. Overall, functionality is great. Battery life and Samsung pay are the key reasons i would recommend this watch to anyone.

Great watch so far..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far this has been a great smart watch. I love the wireless charging since there are no contacts to corrode (like my Nixon Mission, very disappointed). The battery life has been excellent for a smart watch. I can go 3 solid days with notifications, health tracking, and the always-on watch face enabled. The silicone watch band could be better but that's any easy fix. Also, if you watch for the holiday sales, you can get it for an excellent price.

Great Look and Design Limited Apps and Battery
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What I love: I love the look and design of this watch. I own and pair it with an iPhone and although the Apple watch would work better I don't like its design or look. I love the amount of watch faces. There are even a few apps that add even more, like Facer and Watchmaker, both available on the iPhone. I love the bezel design, it is so easy to navigate. What I don't like: I know a lot of people say to get the Galaxy watch for the battery life, but I have yet to get over 2.5 days of usage. Some people clam up to 5 days, which I can't even imagine how. I've had to turn off many features just to get to 2 full days. This was a disappointment because part of the reason I decided to get this instead of an Apple Watch, besides the look, is the poor battery life on an Apple Watch. I wanted a watch to track my sleep, which this watch does, but I don't get anywhere near 3 days let alone 5 days of usage before having to charge it. Before buying I knew of the limitations of pairing it with an iPhone, such as not being able to answer text messages, but there are a few things that bug me. First, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it is because it is used with an iPhone, but it won't allow me to add more than the current location to the weather app. So I can't put in my home weather and my work weather, only one or the other. Also, it doesn't sync with any calendar app from my iPhone. So the calendar app on the watch just shows days with nothing scheduled. I don't even have the option of adding an event to the calendar directly on the watch. I can't seem to get this to sync any health tracking with any app other than Samsung Health, which seems a bit limiting. Samsung claims you can sync Samsung Health with other apps, but it doesn't seem to work. I have a bluetooth scale that automatically sends my phone my weight each morning, but now I have to manually enter my weight into Samsung Health to keep track of it with my daily exercise and such. Bottom line: I really love the look, feel and design of this watch. The bezel especially. Despite the lack of features being paired with an iPhone I would still pick it over an Apple Watch any day.

Excellent
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So I got this fully expecting to return it within the week because of either the HR sensor issue and steps miscounting issue (both at the time, software, not hardware issue) or because of Tizen, the watches OS and the general lack of apps for it. Very surprised. I'm a couple weeks in now and I generally get about 2.5 days of battery from it with watchface always on and all gestures on. No issues with HR or steps. Only real downside is Bixby, I doubt she'll every be half as good as ye olde Google Assistant, but that's ok.

Best Smart Watch Hands-down
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best Smartwatch for Android phone users. If you have a Samsung phone, then you have to get this. There are so many 3rd party bands, ring-overlays, TPU covers, and other accessories (see Am maz zon). More so than any Google Wear watches. And tons of great watch faces from free to paid. Battery life is 2 to 3 days if you use Always on Display. Easy to use because of the rotating bezel. And Apple Users can use also.

Better than The iWatch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great value. Great design and Great apps. The best part is you can download (free) multiple watch faces and change by just selecting the new face. Most are customizable where you can change the colors or add battery life, steps taken, etc. The large round face makes it easy to see in any light. Less expensive than the iWatch from Best Buy.

Good looking smart watch!
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been wanting to buy a smart watch that really looks like a real watch and doesn’t look like a toy watch. When I saw this, Samsung Galaxy Watch, I fall in love with it right away. Battery life is better than any other smart watch in the market. It is water resistant up to certain meters. I like the idea that you can change the watch faces. It’s like you have a collection of watches.

Best Galaxy watch yet.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is a great companion to your Samsung phone. If you have had any of the Galaxy watches in the past, you will love this watch. The battery life is great. I get about 4 days of wear off of a complete charge, which allows the watch to actually track my sleep and other fitness goals. I had the S3 Frontier and I could barely get two days of battery, this watch is way better on battery life. Well worth the purchase.

Great smart watch.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had Apple for a decade and decided to try out a Samsung note. I liked the phone so I figured I would get a watch since I liked having my Apple watch. I haven't figured everything out yet but I can say it last 3 days where my Apple lasted 1 between charges. Also looks alot better and it was alot cheaper. Overall very happy with it. Now if the ear buds didn't cost so much I would get a set
