Improved battery life
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have owned several Samsung watches—gear, gear s2, gear fit pro, gear s3 frontier and now galaxy watch. I like all of them, but I think the best looking one is the gear s3 frontier. Having said that, the Galaxy Watch is my preferred watch simply because of the superior battery life. I travel for days at a time and I rarely have to charge it. I had to charge the gear s3 at least every other day if not more frequently.

Great watch! Incredible value!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It took me a while to buy this watch because of the "supposed" newer models give it a competition, but I am so glad I bought it. First if you set it right the battery last much longer than any other currently in the market. Second, for a man, it just just awesome! The features, the quality, the customization of the different faces, the shortcuts for both the apps and the settings and all the information that you have with the mere rotation of the bezel. I don't like to have to go to menu and submenus just to get to the information I want quickly. It's not super large. It feels great in my wrist and you can buy a lot of small things to either protect it to make look even better. I would definitely buy again. I am worried that new models (like the "active" series) will make Samsung to stop manufacturing this model, because to me this one its just great. I do not like to ware small watches and sincerely, if the display is smaller than 46" or 45" you might not enjoy it as much as you will have to make the letter so large to see anything that you will not enjoy it as much. I know other bands may have more apps ("candy") at the moment, but they I see is not about quantity, but quality and this is it for me.

Good improvement over original model
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good battery life. I actually got 6 days battery on Power Save while on vacation. Good integration to my Samsung 9+. Like that my Facebook Messenger notifications pop up on the watch, the previous watch did not do this. Feels and looks like a real watch. Good for when you are out and about, but still want to be connected without having to pull your phone out to look at messages.

So far this has been a Great purchase
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A few months ago I actually purchased the Galaxy Frontier, but unfortunately just a few months later it stopped registering my steps and other statistics. So I returned it to Target and upgraded to my Samsung - Galaxy Watch Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel - Silver. Battery life is great, looks are sleek and so far so good. There a few other features on this watch that have been added that the Frontier didn't have. I also believe that this watch is more waterproof than the Frontier was. So for me owning a swimming pool this was the watch for me. It has been just over a month or so and so far I am very satisfied.

Cool Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first experience with a watch that would do this much. I also have a Samsung Gear Fit I used for a while but eventually quit wearing it. The fun things with this watch is being able to move music from my Galaxy S8+ to the watch. You can pair a Bluetooth headset to the watch and go for a walk, run or hit the gym without your phone. I haven't tried downloading Spotify on the watch, but people say it can be done, but after reading the reviews for it, it sounds to me more trouble than its worth. Speaking of the Bluetooth, the range isn't the best compared to the Gear Fit. I love the fact you can answer your phone with the watch. If you are in a semi quiet environment, it actually sounds good on your end as well as the person you are talking to. Now to the step counter - I have noticed that when I get up from the couch and come in the kitchen, it doesn't seem to record the steps correctly. When I am in full stride, the steps seem to be right on. I have counted steps from one point to another to compare to the counter and its +/- within about 10 steps. I exchanged my first one because I thought it was defective, but after seeing the second one do it and then searching the issue, MANY people complained about this. I wore my Gear Fit along side it one day and about 3/4 of the day was gone, and there was a 500ish step difference between the two. A little annoying, but I am learning to get over it as it wasn't the main reason I bought it. The Samsung Pay on the watch actually works very well. The GPS feature works well. You can enable it when going for a run or bike ride, and you view it on the Samsung Health app. I haven't swapped out the band yet, but it will be a simple process. I just updated the software that was suppose to help with the Heart rate monitor and battery life. If I am not using the GPS, I can go about 3 days between charges.

Great watch but the app is lacking
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this watch. It has a sleek look and fits comfortably on my wrist. I like that it's waterproof and has an option to block the screen from getting activated in the shower. I also really like that it tracks so many things - heart rate, sleep, stress, steps, auto detects exercise, etc. My only issue is the app. It uses Samsung Health which for the most part is easy to use but some trackers have been removed from the app and I wish I had known this before purchasing the watch. The app no longer tracks coffee intake which was a major reason for me to get because I am learning better lifestyle habits and less caffeine consumption is big for me. Also, it doesn't let you change the water amount. It only measures water intake by increments of 8 fl oz but I have a thermos that holds up to 32 fl oz so I have to remember to tap the watch 4 times every time I finish my thermos - it can be a pain sometimes but what can I do? I also really enjoy the fact that I can take a phone call on my watch as long as I have it connected to my device. It helps when I'm in the car or am unable to hold my device. I highly recommend the watch.

Awesome battery life!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Battery life is Awesome! 2.5 to 3+ days before needing a charge. Just wished the silver color was black. Solved that by purchasing a 3rd party watch case. Overall, the watch is MUCH BETTER looking than the SQUARE APPLE watch.

Simply Perfect
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Too much to say. Just the perfect smart watch. I did buy a few different bands from AMZ, and they look great and mix up the style for the occasion. GREAT device.

Great Watch
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been using this Watch for two weeks now. I upgraded from the Gear Fit2. This Galaxy Watch works flawlessly with my Galaxy S20+. I am just an average consumer, not a pro-reviewer. I absolutely love the performance and looks of this Watch. Many options for Watch faces and apps. Works well for phone calls and receiving/sending texts.

Great features and great looking
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second Galaxy watch and I didn't feel the need to upgrade to the new one. I love the watch and I would highly recommend it. It works perfectly with my S10 plus. I added a brown leather band and it is even better looking. It is the best looking smart watch in my opinion and better looking than the previous iteration.

A great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice upgrade. I traded in my Samsung Gear S3 for this watch. It was just what I needed as my S3 battery life was slacking. It was on sale so it was a great deal for me. The battery life is awesome. I don’t really care for the exercise and health tracking so I didn’t need to spend the extra money for the Galaxy Watch 3.

Perfect smart watch
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the perfect smart watch! I prefer the classic look of the watch over square looking watches. Works well with my Apple iPhone and I like all the features, battery life and functionality. Simple things like changing the watch face, weather alerts, auto detects physical activity, recharging cradle and looks great for any situation.

Great Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 46mm Galaxy Watch is sleek and beautiful. I've received many compliments and and I've had many ppl come up to me and ask "What kind of watch is that?" It has about 2.5 to three days of battery life if you leave the watch face always on, but if you turn the always on feature off... I've managed about 5 days on one charge. Great watch and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I love Samsung smart watches
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this watch when my gear 3 was destroyed. I love Samsung phones and watches so it was only right to replace the last with another. This watch has good battery time as well with the appropriate settings and looks great. I can receive and make calls even with my phone away from me, the interface is simple enough yet stylish, good buy.

Nice companion piece
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Watch arrived on time in mint condition. Price was much more palatable with the open box. I couldn't bring myself to buy it at full price. The silicone wrist band is surprisingly comfortable. Battery lasts a bit over 2 days. Lots of customizable faces. Apps are easy to use. Bright screen with a beautiful display.

Great smartwatch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this watch. Big battery is nice and the screen is awesome. Great watch faces. Ability to make calls, text, set reminders and such are great. Wish there were a few more app options but it's nothing too important. Also the removal of MST kind of sucks but can still use NFC and have phone anyways if I want to use MST for samsung pay so again not a deal breaker.

excellent smart watch to pair with Samsung phones
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this a few months after it came out and I should not have waited. It's got so many features and I'm still learning more after having it for a few weeks. The ability for it to act as a speaker phone is great with my old car because it does not have blue tooth through the car stereo. Paying with Samsung Pay is so easy and safer than using physical cards. Texts, emails, calendar notifications now on my wrist and I can leave my phone in my pocket. I email myself a grocery list and now the list is on my wrist. Underrated feature - it's a great alarm clock because it vibrates and wakes you up and you don't have to find your phone or alarm clock to turn it off. I have an s9+ and it worked right away with it. The watch is durable and definitely waterproof. I leave it on in the shower. Forgot to take it off when mowing the grass and knocked it pretty hard and it was fine. My only complaint is that you get gmail notifications and can read the email, but you can't go through all of your messages, but I can with my hotmail. Seriously other than that this watch is awesome. Also this is a great toy to play with when your bored at the airport or at a meeting. This one has the rotating bezel - I think Samsung is ditching it and I like it so get it while you can.

Great watch with many functions
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Linked to my phone and has been a life saver. I know longer have look for the phone or try to pull it out of the case. I simply look at my watch and I can see who is calling, or get reminders for all of the things that are important. I can text from the watch without any hassle. Waterproof. The fitness apts keep my big butt going. Love It.

Very nice watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had a Samsung Gear S2 that was getting old and I wanted a newer watch. I looked into the Galaxy and figured I would give it a try. I have no regrets. The battery life is great. I generally go 3 days before I need to charge the watch. The 4th day was down to about 13% when I went to bed so I thought that was good. I like the feel of the watch--it's comfortable and doesn't look "cheap". The band is sturdy and can be replaced with other bands. I have music downloaded to the watch for working out. It was a simple process. The music can be played on a Bluetooth speaker, headphones, or from the watch itself. The app for exercising is great. When walking or jogging it maps where you go and lets you know every mile your statistics. I also use it to track my time on the elliptical or treadmill. It syncs up with Samsung Health on my Note 8 and keeps track of things. As for talking calls, it's bluetoothed to my phone so I can answer calls if wanted. It can also be used to send a text message, but that gets to be a little tricky. If you're looking for a smart watch that work good with the Android format, I would recommend this watch.

Better than most wearos watches
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For background, I have had the Moto 360, the 360 v2, the Huawei watch classic 2, fossil explorist 3 and hr. Pros, better performance by far, display is the best I've ever seen in a watch, battery last 3 to 5 times longer than almost every wearos watch I've had, Samsung health is better than fit, nfc works better Cons, fewer apps, fewer watch faces that look good, and the watch doesn't look half as good as any of the wearos watches I've had. It looks 100 times better when you change the band and add a ring cover btw
