LOVE the watch, disappointed with the straps
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Galaxy S9+ so obviously this watched paired instantly, I get all of the updates immediately, and all of the face options, apps, and notifications are great. I use this watch mostly as a fitness tracker which works great but I also use it when I golf. The only downfall is that there aren't as many apps as there are for an Apple Watch but there are definitely enough to serve almost every need you may have. The heart rate monitor is surprisingly accurate even while running but it does have some issues tracking when your wrist is really sweaty. However, if you have it tight enough, you shouldn't have an issue. I absolutely love the watch, I use it every day and the battery life even after a year and a half lasts around 2.5 to 3 days and that's going to the gym daily (prior to the pandemic). So it's counting steps, checking my heart rate, and the screen is flicking on and off while I do different movements and I only have to charge it two to three times per week at the most. The one downfall with the watch are the straps. The silicone or whatever material the straps are can rip. The hole that I use the most ripped on the shorter straps so I've switched to the longer straps and I probably have another year for those. So I guess it's not all that bad since the holes in leather straps stretch out over time but I've never had one rip. I also wear this watch swimming, lifting, hiking, and for a number of other activities that probably stress the straps so maybe that's the life I should have expected but I would have liked it if I didn't replace the first set after a year.

Get watch, better price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After attempting to buy the same watch at a Verizon store, I visited Best Buy where the sales associate was extremely helpful. The watch paired instantly with my S8+. it is easy to use, looks great, battery life is excellent and using Bixby on your wrist is better than having Alexa or other devices in the house.

Great watch with lots of possibilities
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a smart watch and being that I own a Samsung Note 10+ it works great for me. The size is large and fits well on my wrist. Being a Firefighter Paramedic we tend to be rough on everything and to say the least it has banged against many things and handles them well. I get about 3.5 days between charges as I don't have every notification going to the watch and honestly I don't need to know everything that goes on in my social media. The sound for calls is good and clear, many faces available to download or buy so you can have what ever look you want. It keeps track of my fitness activities but with the state of things I have yet to swim with it. The wireless charging is nice and getting an extra charge base is inexpensive enough that I have one for home and one I keep in my bag for work and travel. The watch has a very sturdy feel to it and I haven't had a worry about anything happening to it. All in all it's been one of my best purchases.

Best watch ever!
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch is excellent! All of the features and fitness tracking makes this worthwhile. Much cheaper than the Fenix and more versatile than the Apple Watch. I've had the GearFit, GearFit 2, Galaxy Frontier Watch, and now this. Super watch for actual fitness.

Worth the buy! Minor downsides.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been wearing my Samsung Galaxy Watch for a couple of months now, and I am very happy I bought it! I went for a refurbished watch because it saved me a little cash. I am a full time grad student, avid gym goer, and live a life on the go. First off the watch is very comfortable on my big wrist. I hardly notice it is on me throughout the day. Secondly the UI is very good and responsive, and I love the manual bezel that allows tactile feedback when using the watch. Third, the watch's battery lasts several days, and there are even battery modes that turn it into just a watch and allow the battery life last a month long! (I never tested it though). The only downside to this watch is the lack of free navigational systems. I feel the applications market needs some maturing. It works seamlessly with my Samsung Galaxy S10 and I love the fitness tracking, HR monitoring, timers, and music controls for while I am at the gym. Overall, I would buy it again. It is stylish, efficient, and useful!

Great smart watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this Samsung Galaxy Watch. It paired seamlessly with my new Galaxy s10 plus — setup in no time. As soon as I turned the watch on, my phone lit up saying it detected a watch needing setup. I have used many smart watches and fitness trackers. I currently have a FitBit Versa and Charge HR, and an Apple Watch Series 3 + Cellular. This Galaxy Watch takes the cake. It does everything the rest do, and then some. The model I have is not cellular; however, within the bluetooth range, you can make calls and text through it. The battery life lasts days, compared to any other smart watch I've used. The Samsung Health app that pairs with the Galaxy Watch are one of the best fitness and health apps I've used. It aggregates all of the information into one easy to read location. It will show you your steps, your average heart rate, and your minutes active. If you wear it to sleep, it will track your sleep patterns and break it down into sleep time and break it down into a light sleep, deep sleep and time awake, which is extremely handy.

Power is everything!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Samsung Frontier before this watch and my biggest issue was that it ran out of power before the day was even over. I would be forced to put it into a power conservation configuration which would severely limit the watches functionality. The next generation totally addressed that issue. Now the watch can go for days without having to be recharged. I can sleep with it and have it learn my sleep habits. I no longer lose step credits for my many trips to the bathroom at night lol. I'm still learning about this watch and it's many capabilities. a couple of things I have noticed is that the floors counted is totally arbitrary. Sometimes it works like a charm and others I'm getting 10 floors of credit for taking the elevator down to my car in the morning. The other issue is that Samsung does not keep a good record of the watch faces you have bought for your previous versions of this watch and therefore forces you to buy them all over again! That's really cheesy for Samsung to nickle and dime customers. They should make i so that the faces work across versions.

Great Watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I consider myself to be something of a 'watch guy'. I own several nice timepieces and been wearing an expensive Marathon watch (my all time fave btw) for the past few years. Because of it's cost, however, I started thinking that maybe it shouldn't be my day-to-day knock-around watch. I decided to take the plunge and go the smartwatch route. After a *lot* of research, I purchased the Samsung Galaxy Watch (46mm) about a month ago (03-2019). I could not be happier! It, of course, keeps accurate time as you would expect from a device of this type. The display is crystal clear and the watch faces look nice. Rotating the bezel gives you access to some pre-installed widgets that are actually quite useful and you can add your own too. The stock apps are nice as well. I got rid of the PowerPoint controller to free up a little space since I have no need for it and instead, installed both a timer app and a stopwatch app as well. I'm a musician and was even able to find a nice metronome app that 'pulses' the beat for me. Battery life is great ... a full three days between charges, though I usually give it a bit of a recharge daily while I'm in the shower. The only negative and it isn't a big one is that the band feels a little flimsy and 'cheap' in comparison to some of my other watches. It's fine for now though and hasn't detracted from my enjoyment of the watch. The plastic bezel was also a bit of a concern, so I purchased a metal 'timing bezel' designed specifically for this watch from a company called Ringke. This serves the dual purpose of making the watch really look great and protecting the bezel. My Marathon SR watch now comes out for special occasions and I'm loving my Galaxy watch!

Beats the Apple Watch on features
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Apple Watch is great on its own right but there are some things about this watch that beats the Apple Watch. Of course, making the switch back from iPhone to Samsung is a huge part of the decision making factor, but you can theoretically make this watch work with your iPhone but not vice versa with an Apple Watch and a Samsung phone. Streaming video (yes, it's big enough to decently watch something) and using a web browser for the internet are just two features right off the bat that make this more feature rich. There are also plenty more watch face options if you care about that. I can't say how this compares against other smartwatches that are made for Android based phones but I will say none are perhaps better looking than this watch on the wrist. Others look like a smartwatch right off the bat but the Galaxy Watch looks like a conventional watch so you can pull it off wearing it to say, a dinner party or something more formal. It's as much at home at the gym, work and home as said that more formal gathering.

It is fun and useful, but
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the watch is nice, durable, and convenient. I was worried about my fat fingers on the small screen, but it is actually very responsive. I am disappointed in the number of apps available for the watch. Not as many useful ones as I thought there would be. I do like the phone, text, email, and physical activity notifications. If you are someone who deals with allot text and email then this watch is great for you.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I needed a watch to track my activity and fitness for my work healthyroads program. But I wanted something that did more and looked better than a standard fitness watch, So I decided to get this. It's features are great, and still does the job I needed it to do for the fitness program.

I Now Where a Watch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm the kind of guy that didn't wear a watch because my phone told the time. Well, I now where a watch thanks to the Samsung Galaxy Watch. This thing is awesome. I get email, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and text notifications on my watch. I can respond to text messages, make calls, listen to music, etc. through my watch. It makes driving and talking on the phone much easier and hands-free. It monitors my sleep so I can see my sleeping patterns, and it tells time. It also looks really stylish. Make sure to buy a protective screen glass cover to protect your watch. I only wish the Twitter/FB support was stronger, as some thing will not display on the watch and have a button to have you show it on your phone. However, I don't think playing a video will look good on the watch anyway, so I can't expect everything.

This thing is nice. Also big. Really big.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's giant. I can read this thing from across the room. That's nice, but it can feel like a manhole cover on my arm. Battery is killer, runs like 3+ days. Performance is good, never really acts laggy. A fine super-sized smart watch. Still wish I hadn't lost my Gear Sport. That thing was good too.

Seamless integration
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 4th smart watch and I'm finally satisfied with my purchase. This watch has an excellent battery life, I use it all day long and it has not gone under 70%. It works perfect with my Samsung S8+ giving me great features and keeping me in touch throughout the day, absolutely love it.

Great Device!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fantastic device. I've been an avid Smartwatch user since the original LG (Can't remember the name, but it was square). Since then I have migrated to Fitness Trackers as the watches were bulky and seemed to be more distracting than helpful. I don't need to be able to watch Netflix, edit documents, or do face calls from my watch. I just want my watch to alert me when pre-defined events happen (I.E. Phone rings, text message, email, etc...). This device fits the bill as it is using Tizen OS instead of Wear which provides a longer battery life (I'm getting about 4 days consistently) which is great since I also like to use it as a sleep tracker (Hence my need for the device to not be bulky). Overall this is the best watch available today. My only gripe is that since I wear this thing around the clock (Sleeping, shower, gym, etc...) my wrist does get irritated where I have to switch back to my analog watch for a week or 2 to recover before I can use it again for another month or 2.

Excellent product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've bought a lot of smart watches online cheap imitation and I regret it I spent more on cheap smart watches then I did on this product. Totally compatible with my smart phone works great as a lot of features that others don't. Long lasting battery like I said before excellent product.

Perfect match for your Samsung Phone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Swim tracking. I like the two tone (Silver/Black). More RAM and a faster processor. Nicely integrated with S Health. Tons of watch faces, Note that this one not have MST technology. Definitely on the bulkier side, so if you are not into big watches, you may not need to look at the 42mm version.

A Great Smart watch with Great Battery!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You will fall under 2 categories 1) Samsung phone owner looking for a smartwatch 2) Someone looking for a good smart watch with great battery life and features. This watch works on both fronts. If you have a Samsung smartphone, using this watch and the Samsung Health app will work with all your fitness needs and syncs seemlessly with the app. Works on Apple phones and other brands too. Syncing is very simple and easy. Battery life is very good, lasting 2-4 days before needing a charge. Remember though, this runs on Tizen, Samsung's offshoot version of a stripped down Android base and isn't compatible with the Wear OS app. But there are plenty of watchfaces in the Samsung Galaxy Store. Has a interactive circular bezel that doubles as a way to access different widgets and apps on the watch. And if you are feeling like James Bond or Dick Tracy, you can take calls from the watch if you are connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
