Exceeded Expectations!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch has been amazing!! I would recommend it to anyone as a must buy!! Integrates nicely with Samsung health for tracking sleep, heart rate, miles covered, pace, and stress levels. The sleep data has been a huge help in improving sleep quality and duration! Heart rate data while working out, showing performance range has also been amazing for improving workout results. The only negative on the heart rate sensor is that on long cardio workouts the sensor needs to be cleaned/adjusted which is distracting on long workouts. Reviews on distance covered while running/walking/hiking has been mixed on line. I haven't been able to independently verify the distance measured/tracked by the watch. Still on my to do list!! The battery duration is quite nice. I simply charge it during showers or other similar opportunities and rarely have to do a long term charge. I do recommend that you verify the data from the watch has been uploaded to S-health prior to powering off the watch.

This is my 1st branded smart watch and 3rd smart watch. It is easy to use and too many options for someone like me who needs only the phone and SMS notifications. Buy this watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this watch for Father's Day 2020, so it's been two months since I have it and completing this review. I wear it everyday. It helps keep up with messages, phone calls, sleep patterns, step count, time and more. I love this watch. It is easy to navigate and I like the different watch faces to choose from. I recommend purchasing a screen protector because it can easily be broken. After two months, my screen protector has a crack in it. I do work with my hands, so no telling where the crack came from. I would also recommend a bezel covering and watch protector. Overall, I love this watch and recommend anyone with a Samsung phone, should get this watch!

Wasn't sure at first.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wasn't sure about a watch that would have to be charged all the time. It's not what I expected. The battery last for 3 + days depending on settings. Big plus for someone that doesn't have time to charge on a daily basis. Easy operating system, everything one needs on their wrist

Very happy with this Great upgrade.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the Galaxy Gear S2 and upgraded to the S3. The battery and operating system got better and faster. The S3 had a battery life of 3 days which was fine. Over time it wouldn't stay charged as long. It was down to about 1 and 1/2 days. Frustrating, compared to what it was doing. The tracker was not always accurate and you couldn't get it wet much. So my wife got me the new Galaxy Watch for my birthday a couple weeks ago. The watch is faster, has more features and battery lasts OVER 4 days. The features that were improved include the ability to track workouts better and now includes swimming. And water proof to a certain depth. Syncs to phone great for texts, call and messaging alerts. Can answer and make calls from the watch. Great watch.

New Features Worth Buying
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The new Samsung Galaxy Watch is the replacement for the Gear S3, introduced in late 2016. It comes in two models based on screen size: 46mm or 42mm for smaller wrists. The 46mm watch is available in a silver trim with a black onyx band, while the 42mm version is available in midnight black or rose gold. The 46mm screen size is 1.3” while the 42mm watch has a 1.2” screen. This watch adds some new extras that you may want to consider for upgrading. Samsung has pioneered the rotating bezel with previous models as well as the Galaxy Watch. This bezel makes changing to other settings and functions a real pleasure. No more going to many submenus to find what you want to do. One of the best features is its larger battery that provides a longer time period between charges. Samsung advertises that the battery will last up to 4 days before charging. From my experience, it was closer to 2-3 days. Of course, that will vary according to personal choices such as whether you leave the display on or go to ambient mode. Keep in mind that the 42mm watch has a smaller battery, so you cannot necessarily count on up to 4 days. Samsung has added several apps you may want to add to this watch. Google Maps and YouTube are two of the apps that can be added. But there needs to be more to make this watch more functional. You also have the option of making and answering calls on this watch as long as your phone is nearby. The “Dick Tracy” function of making calls on your watch is now a reality! If fitness is your thing, the Galaxy Watch offers monitoring of your calories, heart rate, steps taken and more. It even monitors your sleep patterns to measure REM sleep. This watch can monitor close to 40 activities no matter your choice of sport. This watch runs on Tizen 4.0 and offers many watchfaces to choose from. In fact, Tizen has more watchfaces than even Android Wear. Whether you want a standard clock face or a digital one, you are likely to find one that pleases you. The Galaxy Watch is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Be advised that I only used it with an Android phone and it worked perfectly. Setup was very easy as long as you download the Galaxy Wearable app. From this app on your phone, you can select watchfaces and use Bluetooth to connect to your watch. One of the best features of this watch is that it is easy to replace watch bands. The 46mm watch uses a standard 22m band, while the 42mm watch uses 20mm ones. Check online and you will find leather, stainless steel, nylon, rubber or silicon bands to perfectly match the Galaxy Watch. These watches use a quick-release tab that makes it easy to swap bands. For $350 I would have preferred this watch with a metal stainless band. But for $30 or less I can have the band that Samsung failed to include. Unfortunately, the Galaxy Watch is not perfect and does have some drawbacks. The primary complaint is with Bixby, Samsung’s voice-activated assistant. In needs further updates to make it as flexible as Siri or Alexa! One of Samsung’s selling points is the sleep monitoring function noted above. But be advised that if you leave the watch on the charger overnight, you can’t track your sleep patterns. The last complaint is that Samsung needs to add even more apps to make this watch more functional. The Galaxy Watch offers many new features that makes this watch attractive. However, if you own a Gear S3 this watch is an enhancement to the Samsung line—not a dramatic game-changer! But if you are new to smartwatches, the Samsung Galaxy Watch is one to seriously consider.

Amazing watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch, does everything my gear s3 but better specially the battery life is amazing (4-5 days vs 2 days on the gear s3) big difference. I picked up mine for $279.99 + tax. Good company for those who have Samsung phones or androids. Not so much for Apple iphones.

A lot smarter than I expected
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My first smartwatch, and it's become a surprising essential addition to my fitness regimen. It took me a few weeks of learning about the many options available out there in the smartwatch market, but ultimately it was my trust in the brand that had me settle on the Galaxy Watch Smartwatch 46mm Stainless Steel Silver. I'm not a person who cares much about watches as a fashion statement, I'm all about the functionality. Putting in my 10,000 steps a day is very important to me as are the workouts I am able to keep track of with this watch. There are far too many features to list in a simple review such as this, however I can say that I have become quite attached to the many facets of the device and I find myself wanting to do more and learn more about it as time goes by. I am looking forward to the possibilities.

Great Watch
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch. Great battery life, looks like a watch (not a fitness tracker). I'm so glad I purchased it. I've had two generations of Fitbit and Samsung Gear Fit 2 before this, and this is far and away my favorite.

Much better than the S2 I owned previously
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything has improved over the S2 I previously owned. Battery life is excellent. My S2 would die by mid afternoon. This watch I can wear overnight for at least 2-3 nights before I have to charge it. Very easy to use and awesome functions.

Love this watch
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this watch to replace my older Samsung S2 watch. It has wonderful battery life, I charge it maybe once every five days. It keeps me notified of events without having to look at my phone. I can even see who is calling before I look at my phone. I sometimes wish the battery life was longer but with everything it does it can be understood.

Best overall smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Was on the fence for a smartwatch that would perform as a fitness watch. The Samsung Galaxy watch does it all! Easy to use interface with a lot of (free) watchface options. Tracks all things fitness with intuitive menus. The only two issues I've hit so far are: (1) as others stated, the smartwatch functionality is more for Samsung phone owners - iPhone interaction is limited (can't respond to texts); and (2) the floor counters seems off - I live in a three story house and at the end of the day it reads really low for the amount of up and down I do (but that could be user error as I have not yet tweeked the altimeter). Overall - I love this watch - great purchase!

Best customer service experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been back and forth on wanting to spend $300 on a smart watch since they first came out. Stopped by the local Best Buy to as an unrelated question and I always look at the open box sections in stores just in case. Came across this and with the price and the fact nothing was wrong or missing from the watch, the plastic sticky thing on the watch face was still on it so I just couldn't pass it up. The associate who helped me was probably one of the very few people who care about there job and treating the customer with respect, he answered any question I had and was every good at his job. More people in the service industry show be more like him. I believe his name was Raul. Thanks for all your help.
