Some limitations, but overall a good item

The Pro's - works well as a watch (one would hope) the included faces are good and there a lot of free ones and low cost ones you can get from the shop. Sleep tracking is great and movement tracking is good. Reminders and alarms are very nice work great. I'm not in physical state to do a lot, but the stress monitor seems good and the rest of the monitoring is very good. text and email notifications wonderful with configurable replies and a decent drawn character recognition. The biggest con is that the altimeter is useless. It randomly changes, don't detect going up and down stairs (I live in a second floor apartment with only stairs to get to it). Battery life is good with it taking 2 days or more between charges and the included charger is great. I am also struggling with how to get the software to work with a work required profile for my phone, since I would like to have notifications for that on my watch as well. Definitely would recommend for people not worried about the altimeter issue.

this is a very nice looking watch and I receive compliments all the time about how it looks. Function wise it works great with my Note 9, and the watch itself is real easy to use. Apps are limited and some even cost money from samsung, but they are pretty cheap. I would recommend if you want a smart watch that looks like a normal watch.

Great upgrade from the S2 Classic

I've had the Galaxy S2 Classic watch for almost two years now and it has served me well. Battery life was my biggest complaint with that watch, although it was the LTE version and was activated. I came to discover that I, personally didn't have any need for the LTE part, since I'm usually never separated from my phone for very long. My review will be based on my experience upgrading from the S2 Classic LTE version. I like this one because it's bigger. I don't think it's overly huge, but it's noticeably larger than the S2 Classic. The silicon watch band is actually pretty comfortable and not a bad fit. However, I purchased a metal band from another retailer that has magnets in it (magnet therapy) and it's also quite comfortable and the band was very easy to change. The battery life on this one is amazing compared to the S2. On my S2, I would be lucky to survive the day and could hardly ever use it for sleep monitoring unless I planned to take it off when I got up, so I could charge it. This one hasn't even come close to dying yet and that's partly due to me putting it on the charger while I shower in the morning. Otherwise, it hasn't left my wrist. It also seems quite a bit quicker than the S2. I like that it's IP68 rated, and I'm looking forward to summer to see how well it tracks swimming. Step counting seems to be on par with the S2, so I don't know about accuracy, but it seems to match what I was showing with my S2. Steps seem to work fine, but I've only seen it count those once when I was going up and down a step ladder. It paired with my Note9 seamlessly and I really don't have any issues with it. The altimeter and barometer both seem to be quite accurate. To me, it was totally worth the upgrade. I have to give Best Buy high marks as well, since I had purchased in the store before the sales started and paid $349 initially. I waited until after Black Friday and Cyber Monday to ask for a price match since it was still showing $279 and they honored it! I was very happy about that!

The watch is great it holds a charge for an extended period of time. The number of available watch faces is unbelievable. I never imagined that a watch could do so many things.

Bought it 2 weeks ago, and already loving it! I have a Samsung phone so the watch works perfect with my phone. Getting around 4 days of battery life which is quite good for a watch, I think! Overall very satisfied.

I recieved this as a gift and overall really like it. It has a solid feel and I really like the round face/screen similar to a more traditional watch. The battery life is incredible. I place it on thee charging stand when I take a fairly short shower every morning and I think the lowest it has ever been after a full day of use is 73%. The bezel design for scrolling through options is really nice and is a vast improvement over my old Gear 2. The only problem I have noticed is the floor counting. It is very inconsistant. One day it said I climed 80 floors. I know for a fact I did not come even close to that, even if you count elevator trips. As of 6:00 pm today I am at 29 floors. I know I have only gone up an elevator twice for 4 floors each time. This feature is frankly more of a nuisance than anything helpful. I turned off the notifications for it so it would stop congratulating me for setting new records. The included bands also seem a little small, even the large one. I have what I would think are ordinary writs but even the large barely fit. This was a simple fix by ordering a new band online.

I really love watches as an accessory and have over a dozen I rotate wearing, but this Samsung Galaxy Watch has become my favorite to wear. I’ve been using this Samsung Galaxy Watch for quite a while and have had no issues. The battery life is very good and I can get about 3 days of use without recharging. It’s a very comfortable watch to me and I recommend it to anyone looking for a Samsung and/or Android watch. You won’t be disappointed.

Bought this over the holidays, it is an excellent smartwatch, the 46mm size is just about right for my wrist, the display is crisp and very responsive. The band that came with it is a little bit uncomfortable at first, especially if you sweat a lot. Bixby voice assistant is so-so, and so is the built-in speaker, but the one thing that I really like about this watch aside from the price is the battery life compared to newer models, I use this watch almost every day (even while sleeping), charging it whenever I can but so far, I can say that the battery holds up to 3 days with regular usage.

I had owned a Motorola 360 long before I purchased the Galaxy Watch. To say they have come a long way is an understatement. It comes pre-loaded with apps, but you can delete those and add many more. The watch faces are limited just about to only your imagination. There are many to choose from a large array of developers. They have faces made to a sports style, nerd, plain, just about whatever you want. Of course with an health app it tracks steps, heart rate, calories burned etc. So far the battery life has been fantastic. You can make calls or texts and answer calls through your phone using the watch AND voice calls, the sound comes out of the watch so you never have to take the phone out of your pocket or even pic it up if your in range. The speech recognition seems to be fairly good. I haven't had it a real long time but so far so good.

The watch itself is fantastic. Plenty of watch faces and really great ones at that. The only caveat with this watch is the apps. There are very few native apps and most of the 3rd party ones are sub par at best Other than that, especially for the Samsung health aspect alone, its worth it

This is a comfortable watch to wear. Love the screen and battery life. But, I do wish it was more like the Apple Watch. Samsung needs to add more apps to use, or not close it off from Android wear.

Short review, this watch rocks. My only knock is that it doesn't use Google's wear is, and some of the functionality I had with my old fossil smart watch or even my Nixon mission are not found on this watch. But that is overruled by the integration that happens with my note 8, simply awesome. The two feel like they were made for each other, automatically doing all the small thing I would do with wear is in the background. Battery life is great at just over 3 days in normal.mode, and roughly 20 days on power saving. My only complaint is that alot of the notifications direct you to the phone, and I would rather just view it on the watch.

Got this watch over the holidays and I like it very much. Compared it against all other smartwatches in the $300-500 price range, so when it went on sale over the holidays, it was an easy choice. The build quality and overall feel is great. Very comfortable. Battery life is outstanding. 3 days between charges. Full charge takes just under 2 hours from 10%. Plenty of optional faces available to customize for how you want it to look and function. Not a ton of apps available, but what is available works well. Watch integrates with our other Samsung devices (phones, tvs). Overall, I am extremely pleased with with this smartwatch.

Overall, a great watch. Received as a gift. I really use the apps of the watch. Ex: Step tracking, Cycling, messaging. That said, rather pricey. If I want to upgrade, I hesitate to even spend that kinda money on a new one.

Absolutely love this watch. It does more than I was looking for; for example; I like the ability to answer calls without having to take my phone out of my pocket, it was really convenient during holiday shopping sprees. No more missed calls because you didn’t ‘hear’ the phone ring. It supports a lot of apps and lets you configure which ones will show notifications; this allows you to quickly glance at a message and know if it requires immediate attention. It provides all the expected health apps with as much information as needed – great to monitor progress and keep you on track on fitness goals.
