Matt is a very professional and knowledgeable asset. Matt and Alex Ritchie also helped buying a 75" Samsung TV

Turns out it means ultra good at testing your patience. The touchscreen has a fascinating feature where it randomly decides it's off the clock. Want to answer a text? Nope. Check the time? Maybe. Swipe to literally anything? Only if the watch is feeling emotionally available. Nothing says "premium smartwatch" like having to restart it just so it remembers it's supposed to be a touchscreen. Then there's the battery. We're in 2026, and somehow this "Ultra" watch has the endurance of my phone from 2012. I have to charge it every single day. At this point, I spend more time making sure my watch has enough battery than I do my actual phone. I bought a smartwatch, not a Tamagotchi that dies if I don't feed it electricity every night. The best workout this watch tracks is how many times I walk to the charger. For the price, I expected cutting edge technology. Instead, I got a very expensive wrist ornament that occasionally tells time, occasionally ignores my finger, and constantly begs for a charger. Samsung, if this is the future, I'd like to return to the past.

If the watch screen is slow to respond, frozen, or not responding at all the issue could be caused by outdated software, a third party app, or even the watch's physical condition. Unclean hands, optional accessories, gloves, and sharp objects can also prevent the screen from responding properly. Feel free to check out, "Samsung smart watch is frozen, slow, or not responding" to help resolve what you've described to be experiencing with your watch display. The Galaxy Watch Ultra offers up to 100 hours of battery life when in Power saving mode, up to 60 hours of battery life without Power Saving mode and up to 48 hours in Exercise power saving mode. These averages are based on typical usage so results may vary. Your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life for several reasons. For instance, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Please take a moment to review, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" when you have the available time to learn about how you can increase your battery life. If your Watch Ultra's Screen wake-up mode is not working properly, please disable power-saving mode or sleep mode, if enabled, as these can disable Screen wake-up feature. Also, ensure the "Screen wake-up" setting is enabled in your watch's display settings. Hope that helps!
