Outdoor Brightness Issue

This watch is bright enough for the outdoors but it has an issue triggering ambient high brightness. There is a lag, for several seconds, before it accommodates a brighter environment. As a cyclist, it is infuriating since I only have moment to view it on full brightness.

To manually adjust the brightness of the display, From Settings, tap Display and select an option: > Brightness: Manually adjust the brightness of the display. > Adaptive brightness: Set the watch to automatically adjust the brightness depending on ambient light conditions. I absolutely love that it has SO many functions. Although it has function/displays for young/active folks, the functions/displays available are even VERY relevant for a senior like me. It's the best money I've ever spent for a watch.
