She had a samsung phone but couldn't paired it with the fit bit. Right out the box it started pairing and was easy to set up.

Great gift to my mother!

It took her a while to get used to and she initially wanted me to return it but now she loves it. I did not give 5 stars because it is not compatible with pandora which is her music app and customer service with the Samsung staff for assistance with setup was AWFUL!
