They appreciate the health monitoring features that help them stay active. However, some customers have concerns about the leather band, Bixby's capabilities, the size of the watch, the accuracy of the heart rate monitor, and the water resistance.

I’m an Apple fan and have had an iPhone and Apple Watch for years. I wanted to try something different, so I bought this watch. It is nice, but the health monitoring features are not nearly as good as my Apple Watch. But it is a nice device.

Upgrade from S3 to watch 3, almost everything is identical, except smoother, battery lift is not good enough only last two days most, ECG just released to US market yesterday, but it only works on Samsung phone which is really not good for non-Samsung phone users.

The thing with this watch is that expectations were set too high. The battery life is horrible. Compared to the first galaxy watch the battery can't compare. I have had issues with it getting stuck in power save mode. The thing that makes this watch appealing is the shell it sits in and the capabilities or future features its suppose to have, if they put those features on as promised then maybe. But they said the same about the active 2 and we are still waiting. With the expected feature it's stock should go up. But I have not conducted a full review, so this is off top knowledge

Stay far away from Samsung. Their products break easily, they don't follow through with their promotions, and their customer "service" is a joke.

Not sure if I received a bad one, I would give it another chance. The battery life; not so good. Speed compared to the Galaxy Watch 46mm is almost identical. Sometimes lagged and froze, but again I could've gotten a bad one. Hope it gets better.

BEWARE - Warranty will not cover water damage

My view on this went from being a 5-star to a 1-star review the moment Samsung wanted to charge me $190 repair on a 6 month old watch (so still well within warranty) because of water damage. This is for a watch that has activity auto-detect for swimming, and a from a company that does nothing to contradict 3rd party reviews rating it good at up to 50ft for diving. Love the watch for looks and features, but will not buy another Samsung if they won't stand behind normal use of its product.

More of a Smartwatch and less a Fitness Watch

The Galaxy Watch 3 is another step up for Samsung wearables. Build quality is impeccable. This is more of a smartwatch that would compete against Apple watch. I am looking for more of a fitness watch to replace my old Fitbit Venu.

Watch has great potential but it seems there are so many features that are blocked in the US. It has an oxygen sensor and will check your O2 if you click on it but it doesn't check while you are sleeping. The sleep data could be a lot better.

Claims to be waterproof. Ive had problems when swimming with it where its doesnt work for a week after. It puts the watch in a bootloop and is really annoying. Would not recommend for an active watch

I really like the active 3 but I'm not sure if the price is really worth it. It has a lot of useful pre-installed apps and widgets. The wearable app that you have to install on your phone could be better..

Nothing special. I dont like the fact that your are restricted to the Samsung store for faces and apps. Battery life is not great at all. I averaged around 2-3 days between charges.

Not as great an improvement over my S3 as I hoped. Battery capacity was slightly less. Design was more dress over my more adventure designed S3. Overall I still like the S3 better.

Battery life not near what last years model was. Was told it had 9 more hours. My last watch lasted 4 plus days. This one is two days Max and I run it in goodnight mode continuously to get that.

It is not bad but coming from the original galaxy watch it is a pain having to charge it every day or at least every two days. If you want mong lasting battery do not buy this watch

Bought a Samsung S3 frontier June 2018 and this one is pretty similar in all facets. I am going to return it. The initial price point cannot be justified. I am not impressed.

This watch is unnecessarily expensive. It doesn't have any unique features than its predecessors. I have been charging it since yesterday; instead of the charging percentage to be increasing, it's decreasing. The fist time, it charged completely to 100% but drained so quickly to 55% since it will charge to 77% and goes down to 37% while still on charge, I have not seen anything like this before. I charged it overnight and was surprised to see 67% on it morning. And it sometimes doesn't respond to touch. I mistakenly wrote this for active2.
