I purchased this watch unlocked version 2 days after the release. After dealing with Sprint for over 2 hrs they said it wasn't compatible. I hope it will be compatible soon.

Would not number sync with my phone. Purchased a new Samsung phone, had to order watch. Sales personnel assured me would work with phone I purchased. Big part of problem could have been ATT.

I didn't try to set it up for the first couple days because it was fine on Bluetooth. I went to set it up with Verizon and it says it isn't compatible. This needs to be fixed pronto.

    Galaxy Watch3 - Battery

I have traded in my old Samsung - Galaxy Watch 1 with Galaxy Watch 3 and I did have $100 back from Samsung. Not much different from what I had; Samsung Watch 3 offers more accuracy and a lot of other sensors. I am waiting on the Blood pressure software update. The worst part of this Watch3 is Battery, Battery, and Battery; doesn't last long enough. The battery has been downgraded to 340, the old watch has 380 ver. in the "GoodNight Mode" Watch3 last only 2 days with no other Sensor On. In today's busy world watch3 should last at least a week. The last thing is that this Watch3 is a little overprice.

    A little disappointed

I was so excited to get this watch for my husband's birthday. We are not big fitness fans but he had heart surgery and this watch offers a lot of heart monitoring functions. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. For the money you pay, it is not worth it. The watch does have a nice, finished look to it. It is sleek and stylish. The changeable watch faces is a nice touch. With a change of band and watch face, you can go from the gym to a black tie affair. It is the function of the watch that I have found lacking. For instance, the sleep tracking rarely gets the time he went to sleep or arose correct. Plus, it does not track all the times during the night that he was interrupted in his sleep (leg cramps, bathroom breaks or just inability to sleep). His Fitbit tracked all of that and gave an accurate display of sleep patterns. His Galaxy also does not track steps correctly. It often gives him credit for walking 6000 steps when he has barely done anything all day. I do like the EKG and O2 sensors and they appear to be fairly accurate. I also like the fact that he can check his heart rate. All in all, though, the Galaxy 3 has been kind of disappointing. If I had the chance to do it again, I probably would not have invested so much money into this watch.

    best smart watch i've owned.

So, i'll start by saying that the other reviews are incorrect in that this watch from bestbuy doesn't work on Verizon. what they are correct about is it is an extra step in order to activate it. you need to call verizon and submit a DMD form with the IMEI from your watch, within 2 business days the watch will be able to be activated. now that, that's out of the way you should know this is the best smart watch out there. they even updated within 24 hours of release to get the oxygen sensor working which wasn't supposed to happen until later in the year. great watch!

Degraded experience after 3 years of use

To give an idea what to expect after owning this watch for 3 or so years, I have the precursor model. It was great for one or two years but then Samsung started to release update after update either for the watch itself or the app on the phone. It is a constant maintenance and learning process because functions change--for no obvious reason. Some health tracking things just disappeared. And the watch stops working if it is waiting for an update. Also, now that the battery life is reduced (it was great initially) bluetooth (but not Wifi) turns off or to power save frequently, losing the connection to the phone--again I need to fiddle with it--usually when I don't have time to do so--that is when I look at the watch to get the time because I am in a rush (duh)! If you don't want to think about your watch this is not the watch to get. You may say that 3 years is all you expect to get out of it but I don't agree. And that does not justify the frequent software updates.

Pre-ordered the watch had an issue with getting connected with Verizon but the next day it worked as it should. Used the app to get it connected and took no more than 5 minuets.

After post office delayed delivery for a week, use another shipper. Connected to Sprint in five minutes. Was worried because everyone had a problem but it was easy to connect through WEAR app.
