It won't hold a charge for even 24 hours. My cheap watch i had before didn't need charging but every 10 days.

There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For instance, certain apps can increase battery consumption. Your Galaxy Watch4 and the Galaxy Watch5 models come with their own power saving mode. When enabled, this mode will limit several options in order to save battery life, such as Always On Display, Wi-Fi, and screen brightness. You can also turn on Watch only mode. I row, do a stationary bike and an eliptical machine almost every day. The galaxy 4 keeps me informed. My wife uses the fitbit and is also pleased. As long as I am at home charging is not a problem. I can go about two days without a charge. I have not let the galaxy 4 rundown completely. There are several apps I have not used and probably will not use but who knows I may change my mind.

It barely lasts 1 day with just basic settings. Unacceptable for a "smart" watch. Samsung can do better, but chooses not to. Makes NO sense. If you choose this watch, be prepared to charge it daily.
