Upgraded to this from the Active 2 model. Wife loves the added features of the Galaxy 4. Only complaint is battery life could be better.

Unfortunately the product only lasted a little over a year. It's not damaged but it's stuck on an orange screen. A quick google search showed this is a common issue with this device. $150 for a watch that lasted 19 months is insane

Absolutely love this watch! It connects to my phone, and makes my life so much easier. I dont jave to have my phone in my hsnd all the time, and never miss any alerts lr anyone trying to reach me. The 4 is perfect; domt waste the extta money on the 5.

I have been anxiously waiting for this watch! I have owned the 1st generation Galaxy active watch for over two years and it held up amazing over time (picture shows Galaxy 1 and 4 next to each other). I was ready to upgrade and was excited about some of the new features on the Galaxy 4 like body composition, ECG, better sleep tracking. That is why I am SUPER disappointed to find out that you need a galaxy phone to use the ECG. This info was pretty difficult to find without reading the fine print. This watch would have been 5 stars if it weren't for that and the fact that I'm generally underwhelmed by the upgrades between Galaxy 1 and 4. That being said, the watch looks great and functions very well just like the galaxy 1. The good: -sleek, beautiful design with nice materials -lighter, more low-profile, and more comfortable than the galaxy active 1 -watch strap quality has greatly improved since galaxy active 1 -display looks great -body composition measurement a plus The not so good: -ECG not accessible unless you have a galaxy phone - honestly unacceptable! -not a huge improvement with battery life (lasts about a day). Wish there was a faster charge as well -overall not blown away by the differences between galaxy 1 and 4. Wish there was something that wow'd me a bit more

Bought this watch for my wife and she loves it! She uses it all the time, everywhere we go the watch can not stay behind! lol Battery life is great, I'm in charge of charging it while the wife sleeps. (gaming life)

Ok, it was an open box, but the conditions were terrible. A lot of scratches, especially on the watch's body (silver piece). The gyroscope is not working properly either.

Very first smart watch, only wanted to track my sleep as I'm not that active and thought it would be nice to have texts and calls come to my watch. Battery life was awful first few days so was planning to return it, but then read some reviews and looking around for competing products, it appears this watch was highly rated by users and now wearing it daily, it does so much more than what I thought. Alerts if I haven't moved in a bit to remind me. water rolls right off and its bone dry while swimming, wasn't expecting that. Now I have learned to charge it and getting about 1.5 to 2 days. no problem charging at night except i wear it for sleep tracker and that has been accurate as I use a cpap and have tried it with and without my cpap use and it shows differences. It displays calendar meetings from both my google and work as those are sync'd, pretty much anything on my phone tied to the app is also on my watch. checks heart rhythm and beats per minute, does breathing exercises, outstanding apps to compliment its usability. Now for me, its my first and cant compare if others are better I just know it had much more that I sue then what I thought it would and those of you reading this that had other smartwatches, well, you may know the difference. I plan to keep it. its sharp looking and has worked well. its nice to see a text or call come in while driving or working without grabbing for my phone. If not for the battery life, I would have given 5 stars.

Ok so the watch i love, fits right on my small wrist. But the battery sucks big time, i have to charge it early in the morning to last my 8 hr shift...then in the afternoon after work to last the night. Also you have to download different apps to use the features oye ve...if you dont mind constantly charging your watch then this is for you. My garmin watch battery would last 3 to 4 days before charging.

Comparing to the original galaxy watch 42mm to the new galaxy 4 40mm. Looks: I like this one alot, it doesnt have a bezel so it is not as bulky plus i down sized too. I feel the bezel kind of protected the screen more. It reminds me of the smoothness the apple watches have. I have it in black which goes well with everything. Features Its a completely different software. Uses the playstore for apps which is a huge change n i feel it kind of limits yet expands what your able to do. I'd definitely like to see more app options. Pulling up the apps kind of has the same look as apple watches which is nicer then turning the bezel through each app. Health Still uses Samsung health. Now has the ekg (only reads afib or normal sinus, nothing else). Sleep tracking is more advanced, will record heart rate and O2 while sleeping. Very on point with sleep times. Has the ability to do blood pressure but its not allowed in the US yet so that Feature isnt actually on there unfortunately. Battery life isn't too bad, nothing to complain about but maybe not as long as the old one. This last about a day (24hrs)..maybe more or less depending on settings. All in all, i am happy with the upgrade. Looking forward to hopefully more apps to be accessible.

Good watch. I upgraded from a galaxy active 2. My only complaint about this is needing to charge it nightly, my active 2 I could charge every other night. But other than that, I love the upgrade. Its easier to use and has more options for me to utilize. I wasn't able to utilize much on my active 2, even with the bigger screen. If you touched anything close to the edge it wouldn't compute, but this new one works very well! I can actually use the calculator and texting features and I notice it counts my steps more accurately too.

This watch has helped me better understand what I need to do to improve myself. I have been able to keep track of my sleep, exercise, and even set reminders so I don't forget my medicine like I usually do. It is a nice, slim design that doesn't feel bulky or awkward on my small wrist. The only downside is the battery life, as I need to charge it at least once every 24-48 hours compared to the days long battery life of similar products. Overall, it has been a positive addition to my daily routine. I wish it had support for other apps (Google Assistant, notifications for other apps, etc) but it is a newer model so hopefully that support will roll out soon.

Was able to get this as an opened box in excellent condition. It was in pristine condition I believe the person returned it because of the watch band. It is unusual way to secure it, the end of the strap gets tucked in under the band itself. That did feel a little awkward but eventually i got used to it. Now the watch itself is an amazing piece of technology. the watch face is bright and very responsive. Several different faces to download and customize. Linking the watch to your phone is easy. Checking texts on the watch is cool answering calls is even cooler lol. Not something I would do all the time only if I cant take out my phone. Don't really use any of the exercising apps, did try them once or twice seem pretty accurate. I mainly use the step counter....now that does seem to be a little off here and there. Now there is an ECG to monitor your heart health to really use it you need to install Samsung Health Monitor on you phone but to get it you do have to have a Samsung phone. Which I do not have lol so I couldn't use it. Now if you are looking for a watch that will last for days on a single charge this is not it. You will have to charge it every day or every other day depending on how much you use it. I mainly use it as a normal watch with once in a while checking texts or looking to see who is calling me at the end of the day for me its at 55-66% now I know this is probably be a deal breaker for most but if you dont mind the short batterry life it's an amazing smartwatch.
