This is my first Samsung watch. Better than my previous Fitbit which died after 1 year of use and was hard to read. Easy to set up and use right out of the box. Body stats arent exact my Garmin and Fitbit tracked about 3000 more steps daily based on similar daily activites. My only issue is battery life. I am probably running apps I do not need. Still learning how to customize. It only gets 2 days on a charge. I do like how it fits and I have a small wrist. My son has an Apple watch. Samsung offers their product for a much better price. I am sure I will enjoy using this for a long time.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4’s sharp design, smart software and standout health sensor make for a promising upgrade that somehow costs less than last year’s version. Plus the Classic model still offers everyone’s favorite rotating bezel. Pros +Slimmer design and new watch faces +New Wear OS feels like Tizen, but with more apps +First major smartwatch with body composition analysis +More affordable than Galaxy Watch 3 Cons -Concerns with BIA sensor -Battery life can be inconsistent

Early review as have only had a day. This is my first Smartwatch but love Samsung electronics. Pairs nicely with my Samsung 10+ phone. I thought the size of a smartwatch might be too large for my wrist, but the 40 mm watch is large but not cumbersome. Like the stats available, a little more info than Fitbit, still figuring out where to find everything. Battery drains pretty quickly, although I have been playing with it quite a bit, will see how it goes with more normal use. Overall happy with features so far.

I have to charge my watch twice a day to keep it going but other than the crud battery power, the functionality is great. Paired easily to all of my other devices, accurate health readings, nice size.

love this watch. did a full comparison with this and the active 2. liked the upgraded features for this one, and the sleek design. during the first 3 days the battery power was horrible, but that was due to the downloads and syncing to my other devices. now it holds battery life great. love the sleep tracking and health monitors.

This watch monitors everything! It has an awesome interface, beautiful design, and is very easy to use and navigate. I do wish the battery life was longer, but it's understandable because of all the features available.

I started with a galaxy active and decided it was time to upgrade. This watch fits well and is super handy. Offers standard smartwatch abilities like notifications, ability to reply, vibrates to get you to move. I like the health monitoring bits as well as how easy it to switch the bands. (I hated the stock silicone band and ordered some new , decorative ones.) Downside is that I wish the battery lasted longer. I work 12hr shifts and when on the job I don't access any of the apps. By the time I get home the watch is struggling a little. Bright side is that the watch can take a little beating. Definitely water resistant enough to survive me working out in the elements and constant hand washing. (I have since put on a bumper and screen protector) Boyfriend liked mine to much that he got one to replace his amazefit watch

It's a big upgrade from the galaxy watch I had. But I expected more on the battery life. Charging about every 22 hours sucks. I love the walkie talkie feature. But sad this doesn't have the blood pressure monitoring on it. The EKG is real easy to use. Blood oxygen and sleep tracking works great.

Very nice watch. Got the smaller size without the bezel for my wife and she loves it. Quick response to swipes and the response to your wrist movement to wake it seems better than the last version. It is connected to her Galaxy S8 phone and sometimes she doesn't get all of the notifications that she should but we don't know if it is the phone, watch, or apps. She wears it at night to track her sleep habits so she charges the watch while she is sitting and reading in the morning or watching tv at night. Her previous watch, the Galaxy Watch Active, lasted for three years before the display detached from the base. I suppose the adhesive finally broke down, hope this one lasts longer. I have had the Gear S3 with the bezel for almost five years and it is still working fine. No scratches on the display and very little wear on the frame. If you are normally rough on watches go with the bezel.

Great watch for its price. Measure HR, steps, sleep and other features. It’s tricky to set up BP and ECG that’s why I’m giving just 3 stars.

I updated from an Active watch that I had for years. I chose this model hoping to have an easier learning curve since I was familiar with the Active watch. I still haven't learned all the "bells and whistles". I like the keeping track of steps and sleep. I keep it on power saving but have to charge it daily and wish the battery lasted longer. I don't swim with it, despite the water lock feature, as I don't trust it to not get water in it. Happy it is compatible with my Motorola android phone. I would recommend to a friend as long as they realized it requires daily charging and that I wouldn't suggest swimming in it. Wish it had a longer warranty but one year is the norm for almost everything.

I like it. Went with the 40mm because I'm female with a smaller wrist. I wish there were a bezel on this one because it's easier to manipulate. The face is still rather large. I bought a third-party snap-on bezel protector and glass screen to protect the watch. Big learning curve with my first smartwatch but I watched some YouTube videos. Not sure how accurate all the health and sleep stuff is. Favorite app is Google Pay. I was frustrated to not find a gmail app, so I had to route thru outlook but it isn't working well. Battery life--I do have to charge it every day. It's convenient to receive and make calls through the watch, too, especially if you're on hold for a long time. I was hesitant about getting one but I like it. I wish they'd bring on Google assistant and gmail and the ECG/BP apps. The strap gets sweaty. It's ok if I'm not sweating, though.

Upgraded from Galaxy Watch3. Watch4 definitely looks nicer and more modern, and slightly lighter and thinner. I did miss the rotating bezel, but that's not a big deal. However, the better barely lasts a whole day with always-on-display enabled.

I got this watch for my mom. She has been using this since more than a year now and she loves it. I myself use this exact same watch and decided to gift the same to my mom. Very comfortable to wear, easy to use, connects with android, iPhone easily. The battery life is extraordinary. When fully charged, it lasts for almost 2 days with all the functionality usage, and more than 2 days on battery saver mode. I am a big fan of this watch and now 4 people in my family use this watch. Samsung has done a great job with this product, definitely value for money. Durability is great, I have dropped this several times without any damage. It also detects and turns on water mode and can be used while swimming. Auto detection of exercise amazes me. A lot of activity modes are set up and more are constant added with the free software upgrade.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 has exceeded my expectations. Its sleek design complements my style, and the health tracking features are impressive. From heart rate monitoring to sleep tracking, it keeps me informed about my well-being. The seamless integration with my smartphone and the vast app ecosystem enhance its utility. A great blend of style and functionality

I love this watch, as I still continue to use it 3 months later at the time of this review. If your looking at something to help you keep track of the time, exercising, sleep and more, than this is for you. It has a very easy to use application, and is easy to set up, taking no more than 7 minutes to set up, not including the time it takes for the watch update. It looks great and functions great. You can add nice wallpapers to the background and change how the watch face looks, with different colors and styles. It does a great job counting steps and keeping track of exercises. Even if you don't tell the watch your about to exercise it will automatically detect that you are doing one and start tracking calories burned, steps taken, and more! The only thing about the watch that isn't the greatest is the battery life. This watch will last one day, that's all. Luckily it is easy to charge as it just uses a included wireless charger, so you won't have to plug the watch in. Overall an amazing watch packed with great features for a great price. If your looking for a watch that isn't going to break the bank but also isn't complete garbage than this is what your looking for !!!
