The Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (40mm) is a sleek and feature-packed smartwatch with a vibrant AMOLED display, smooth Wear OS integration, and advanced health tracking like ECG, SpO2, and body composition analysis. Its lightweight design makes it comfortable for all-day wear, while the fast performance and fitness features make it a great companion. With 1-2 days of battery life and fast charging, it’s a top choice for Android users seeking style and functionality.

I got this wet in the shower and the ocean and it still works great! It's comfortable enough to sleep in so I can track my sleep. Also forgot I had it on while working out. Very user friendly to set up your custom watch faces.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S20 phone which meets the requirements for full functionality. *The phone requirements are clearly spelled out on Samsung's webpage. If you do not have a phone meeting these requirement then all features will not be available. Set up was easy. The watch face is easy to read and navigate. It is comfortable to wear and fits nicely on my small wrist. Samsung Health App is straight-forward as are Wear App and Samsung Health Monitor App. Battery life has been about 2 days using all features. Longer life could be achieved by turning off sleep and continuous heart rate functions.

Love this watch! I replaced my fitbit with this after having issues with 2 fitbits in a row. I am not an Apple person so this is fantastic. it is the apple of androids in my opinion. Does everything I need. The only negative is the battery life is not as long as I would hope. I cahrge it daily while in the shower although it could go about a day and a half. If you use with less apps you could save the battery for longer use however the point is to use it for all its features. Otherwise I love it!

“Absolutely love my Samsung Watch! The design is sleek and premium, and it’s packed with features. The health tracking is incredibly accurate, from heart rate monitoring to sleep analysis, and the workout modes are a great motivator. The battery life is impressive, easily lasting me a couple of days on a single charge. Plus, it pairs seamlessly with my phone, making notifications, calls, and apps so convenient. It’s a perfect blend of style and functionality—highly recommend it!”

I had the 3 classic which i loved. I was expecting the same from this version. Maybe i should have done some research. I love the fast that i could swim with my previous watch. I also loved the scroll. After doing some research, they do have the classic. The battery life on this is not nearly as long as my previous one. All in all, I like it because it is slim.

This watch is exactly what I wanted. Battery life is great, tracks my steps, and my sleep. I am able to quickly read and respond to texts. It is super helpful as I live in a two-story townhome and do not always carry my phone with me when moving between upstairs and downstairs, this allows me to not miss any important calls. My only complaint is the band but I was able to find more comfortable bands on Amazon.

I bought this as a Christmas present for someone that has heart health issues. In particular, this watch was advertised to have both a blood pressure and ECG feature. However, while setting it up, I learned that neither of these were available. First, even though the watch4 hardware may have a blood pressure monitor (as documented in the specs), the blood pressure function apparently is not approved for use in the USA and therefore not enabled in the software. Furthermore, the ECG function was not available because we were pairing it with a non-Samsung phone (T-mobile REVVL). Apparently, even though the Samsung "Health" app is available for non-Samsung devices, the Samsung Health "Monitor" app is not, and that is the app needed to take an ECG. We've learned that this app is only available from the Galaxy store, and not the Play store, therefore it can't be downloaded to non-Samsung phones. Neither of these limitations were documented in the product description for the phone. Ultimately, we returned the watch, and while we were disappointed by the misleading product descriptions, BestBuy did accept the return with no issue or restocking fee.

Love this watch! My 1st Samsung Galaxy watch lasted about 7 yrs. Wore it constantly. Depended on it every day. Then it broke. I saw this Samsung Galaxy 4 watch, great price, with Best Buy warranty & figured a no brainer. Synced perfectly & immediately to my Samsung phone and I am good to go hopefully for another 7 years!

Got this older generation watch because of the color for my wife. The newer models don't really have female friendly colors. It looks good on her and she loves it. Battery needs to be charged daily, but that's OK.

I love my watch for helping to track workouts, water intake & activities/calendar amongst other things. When I first got it the battery wouldn't charge but i reset it & that fixed it. Another is the battery sucks if you have everything constantly on . At first my battery would only last eight hours & now its at about two days. Also, I like that you can answer calls & respond to texts from the watch. I haven't drenched it in water yet but it's gotten wet & it still works great. Lastly this is the perfect size for my wrist & despite some reviews on YT I like how the band sticks out a little on the side.

I used to use a Fitbit Alta HR, and this is a very nice upgrade. The design is sleek, not uncomfortable to sleep in, and the ability to measure body composition is super neat. I like the other health features too, and the ability to pay with the watch/install other apps onto it. I've not had any other smart watches however (unless the Fitbit counts?), so I'm not sure how it compares to those- I know the battery life especially isn't the greatest for a smart watch though. It's alright, but my Fitbit can last days while this one needs recharged every morning.

LOVE my smart watch. I was holding off on buying a smart watch for a while. They're expensive and how often was I going to use it? I was fine with buying fitbits. I love how cute it is. I have a gif set as the face, so when I twist my wrist to check the time, the watch shows me the little gif and I smile! I love how I have the display set up, ready to show me everything I need right away. When I was working retail and thus didn't want to have my phone on the floor (Or was not allowed!) being able to see texts or calls about emergencies was a lifesaver! Having google keep accessible on my wrist for moments when I've forgotten something on my list is amazing! I've put a few games on it but generally take them off. I'm not much of a fan of time wasting games. They were cute though. I do wish the interface for accessing websites was easier and typing can be a bit of a pain but it IS a tiny watch. I use the Find My Phone feature all the time because I have a (terrible) habit of putting my phone dowsn and then not remembering where it is!

Im not a fan of Samsung phones. They make great hardware, but, their version of Android screws everything up. That being said, i wasnt against buying a Samsung smartwatch. I bought this watch for ECG, in addition to basic smartwatch capabilities. The watch fits good, looks good, can last up to two days on one charge, and does everything a smartwatch should do, but, unfortunately, I didn't do enough research on it and found out that it's ECG doesn't work with non Samsung phones. I ended up returning it and buying a Pixel Watch but if you use a Samsung phone, this watch should work perfectly for you. 3 stars for Samsung not allowing that feature to work on anything but a Samsung phone.

    Shorter battery life than Active2

Purchased to upgrade my Active2. The "Gold" is really a rose gold, like the Active2, and the 40mm size fits my small wrist well. I use it to track activity, sleep and heartbeat. Haven't really gotten the Stress and EKG to work yet. The battery lasts about half of the time of my Active2, unfortunately, unless I give up the "active" heart rate tracking and just manually select to measure it. I'm used to the Active2 battery lasting over 2 days, the Active4 lasts barely over a day. Battery life aside, it's a great smartwatch.

Needs a daily fast charge so that has to become a habit. Wrist calls and notifications are great. Personalization is nice and battery saver features are available. To play it safe remove before showering other reviews say the seals may fail eventually. Great price for less than most of the comparable competition.
