However, the biggest downfall is the short battery life. Secondly, the digital bezel was a waste and takes up screen real estate. It also lacks a skin temperature sensor.

Hardly any battery life

Unfortunately it wasn't worth the money, Batter without LTE activated only last 5 hours, turn the LTE on you'll get 3.5-4 hours. That's if you turn off everything that makes it smart like Bluetooth, HR readings, exercise mode, wifi, calls, texting, Bixby.. If you keep all of that or 2 of those things on, you'll only get about 2-3 hours. I tested this against my Active 2 before I was supposed to send it in for trading, and i connected my Ear buds to each the Active 2 lasted 8 hrs, Watch4 lasted 2 hours.

The build is sturdy, has no connection problems and when you take calls, the sound is loud enough to have a quick conversation. Only thing missing would be a camera, otherwise quite satisfied with it.

We bought these for our kids to be able to track them while they are in school and for any emergency and the only negative thing i have to say is that it does not work for that the watch can only be used if connected with your phone.

When I first got this, I was a little disappointed since I much preferred the shiny rose gold used with the Active 2 than the flat "rose" gold used for the "gold" version of the Galaxy 4. That being said, the watch is about the same, but a bigger screen and earlier to use for "writing" text responses on the face. The top and bottom buttons flipped compared to the Active 2. But the EKG thing now works so it's got that plus everything the 2 came with. I upgraded to the LTE connective version this time, although I really haven't used it so can't speak to it. The extra money might not be worth it for others. I'm still carrying my phone, so not sure if is for me either. But I like the ability if I'm out exercising. It's still got all the other watch brands beat as far as usability and apps.

Change from fitbit to galaxy

Love being able to just leave my phone at home. Band is very comfortable. Ive worked in charging right before bedtime so although it doesnt last long its easy to remember.
