The watch synced to my Samsung phone with ease. Apple Watch over Samsung….I don’t think so.

Watch was easy to setup. I bought it for my son, I am already having this watch and completely satisfied with all the latest features it has like measuring body fat, ecg and many more. It is value for money and was quickly delivered.

My spouse and I have owned a watch 4 paired to or digits line since November. Everything has been great except for three major issues. I like the new Google integration as I really like being to be able to download songs on YouTube music. Overall functionality and responsiveness on the screen is fantastic. However, I do not yet recommend that anyone buy the paired line until T-Mobile fixes the voicemail notifications. Voicemail notifications are constant and have gotten worse since the new watch update. T-Mobile does not have a fix. You either must deal with the buzzing on your watch at regular intervals all day for a notification that you have a voicemail that does not exist or you must disable all phone call and phone voicemail notifications. This is irritating since I appreciate knowing when my phone rings by my watch buzzing since I like always having my phone in silent mode. The second issue is that the watch overheats and shuts down about 5 minutes into a bike ride if I am both tracking the bike ride and listening to music that I downloaded to the watch through Bluetooth. These two functions was a huge selling point for me so that I did not need to carry my phone. It does not occur on every ride. It does occur in the middle of the winter even when the outside of the watch feels cold to the touch. I find this very irritating and seems to be a defect. The third issue is with battery life. On a normal day with very modest use, with maybe one workout for about 30 minutes but no GPS tracking without the phone, it can last the whole day but just barely. When the watch is used to track a workout without the phone once in a day, it will probably not last the whole day. When the watch does not overheat and I am using it without my phone to listen to music by Bluetooth and track my workout, it loses about 10% battery life every 10 minutes. This is with very little screen use during the workout. I have never had it last more than 1 hour on a bike ride when using these two functions even when fully charged. I owned and used a Samsung Galaxy watch active for few years that had less functionality but performed its functions better.

Over all good watch. Mainly use for steps an tracking sleep. I personally like the older model over this version.
