Do you need to connect to your phone with bluetooth for the gps to work?

I like the Galaxy Watch4. Everything that is important to me is at my fingertips & I like I change the watch face from the various choices.

The only fault is the battery doesn't last very long.

I payed for next day delivery in the AM of aug 1st and didnt get it till aug 3rd at 7pm, i hot my hopes up the next day since i had off and i could of tested and see what my watch, its currently 12:06 on aug 4th and im barely going to see my watch when i get home from work...

I love the integration for calls, texts and emails but as a fitness tracker it is lacking. Especially where auto recognition of a workout is concerned. I lose partial and complete workouts because this watch can't figure out that when my heart rate reaches 150 plus beats per minute, I might be doing cardio. It is very frustrating. Sometimes it works fine, most of the time it doesn't. Yes, I can manually start exercise tracking but the main reason I got this watch over some others was for the auto tracking. I don't like the Samsung Health app as well as Fitbit fitness app either. Oh and this STILL doesn't have a voice assistant other than Bixby. Battery life is a little over 1 day which is adequate. Durability is great, working on a farm it has taken it's share of blows without a ding in the glass or bezel.

It does as supposed too and is functional I really like it.

I recieved my purchase, when i got home opened the bag, my screen protector package was empty. Too far of a drive and too much hassle to return to the store for assistance. I will not purchase anything else for pick up with best buy.

Bought and open box watch and it was defective. The watch wouldn't hold a charge and I returned it.

It's a defect, wpn't charge past 50% and can't add to my phone.

My experience with Samsung support was so horrible that I’m returning this watch, getting rid of my Note 10 plus and switching to Apple. I’ve had to call support 4 or 5 times in the past two weeks and my issue is still not resolved. I believe the customer support staff are incompetent, provide information that is outright not true and contradict each other. They’ve even admitted it to me, by saying the person I spoke to previously misinformed me. I WOULD BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY IF YOU NEED TO CONTACT SUPPORT. PERSONALLY, I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT.
