Had this watch two years and about to upgrade! Has lasted over two years and just started having issues

Bought this for my Dad as a gift. I asked him how many starts I should give this, and his reply was "4. I'm very selective about giving 5 stars." I love that this watch has Samsung's SOS feature. If he hits the floor or gets in a car accident, the watch will have his phone message us and let us know.

Overall it's a great smartwatch. It looks great and has a lot of great features. The software is still a bit wonky and slow in some areas, particularly with the AI and listening features. Give it a camera or a phaser and it's perfect! Either way, it looks like Dick Tracy tech is finally here.

I got the watch for a super low price gift for my wife she loves it!

It is such a big improvement over the previous Galaxy watches. The watch has a better app integration with the Google ecosystem and Android in general. I still hope that there are more apps on the watch(which may come later at some point). Love how it still automatically detects workouts and notifies for phone notifications. Plus, I can carry music with me on the watch alone.

While it wasn't the color I wanted, it still satisfied my need for a watch. It was easy to set up and there were no complicated and long screens to read. Its a sleek-looking watch and it synced to my phone with ease.

Watch has been great except a week after I got it it wouldnt connect to my phone. The watch had to be reset and everything re connected. I got a rubberised case because every time I bump something worry. Most breaks seem to happen from the edge in. Bands are super easy to change. So far I havnt found one I really like. The stock band is comfortable but collects sweat when working out. Battery life has increased since last update. I can get about 3-4 solid days in one charge. Doesn't auto recognize workout start and stop like I thought it would and I have to manually start/stop them every time. I tend to forget to end it sometimes. Not a big issue from the quick start menu. It is 90 percent accurate on things like benchpress and deadlifts. Seems to miss a rep her and there.

Great Samsung watch for working out texting and getting notifications.

At first the battery was dying too fast. Then I turned off GPS and easily getting 2-3 full days. Easy to use, wish there were more watch faces to choose from.

I would give this watch 4 stars if it wasn't for one big issue. Battery life!! It's about half the life of my old active 2. Right now I'm at 66% from a full charge last night at 9pm. It's 3pm right now. I have notice at least with work outs it doesn't sucks the juice as much as my old watch. But you really do need to charge this at night or you won't make it a full 2nd day. Very disappointed as the active 2 could go almost a full 2 days for me with about 45 to 60 mins of workout tracking a day. The other reason is down a star is the ECG feature only works with Samsung phones. There is a work around if for non Samsung phones but it's a huge con that Samsung does that. Especially since the watch uses Wear OS now and not tizen. There is no reason to not allow non Samsung watches access to this feature when you can do the other things like O2 and BMI. Screen is super bright and easier to read. Touchscreen is more responsive and wear os brings better features to it then when it was tizen only. Like messages and Whatsapp gifs pop up now.

We purchased this watch with the Samsung Earbuds for our Annual Employee Christmas Party as a raffle prize. Needless to say the employee who won these items was thrilled. We are very happy with these purchases.

Watch is best one I've had yet. Little features that just make the watch overall worth it. Speak to text. GPS. Able to control music quickly and easily with a touch on watch to name a few.

Watch looks great and with latest os update you can do more with it. Product was in great shape even with openbox. Note that it supposed to have a charger nut it was missing.

I was confused about buying this watch or the classic. To me just my honest opinion I think the classic is good also but don’t really care for the spin dial it makes the watch seem bigger than it has to be. Watch 4 does what it’s supposed to and looks more natural.

When it comes to the differences between the watch4 and watch5, it gets a little confusing. In all honesty, there is hardly a difference between them to. Like barely any. and cant justify the price difference.

I gifted this watch to my Mother. She absolutely loves it. No complaints. We are still getting to know it. I’m more familiar with apple but this one beautiful. I love how you can customize so much on it.

Coming from an amazfit bip there were pros and cons, but the watch4 does what it does (see bottom for pros of the bip.) Galaxy pros has way more sensors, however, At the time of this review the blood pressure monitor is not active (US) (reason for the 3 stars.) I charge daily when i am sitting at my desk working so it is not so bad waiting on it. Immediately changed the band to one that breaths a little more with color (my preference.) The watch faces are ok. Animations kill the battery life. It is like they still run even if the face is off. Monitors from my experience and comparing against other equipment I own are very close if not spot on. The heart rate monitor can lag about 10 seconds so be aware. Calls on wifi and Bluetooth are clear depending on the connection to your device. Most people don't even know when I am using my watch. Overall it is top tier against competitors. Pros of the bip were weeks without a charge, thousands of watch faces, always on without killing the battery.
