The good: The watch is stylish, snappy, and overall beautiful. It's loaded with features and works very well. Integration between Samsung and Google will only get better with time. Bands are easy to change. The bad: The watch has so few apps available right now that it's a bit disappointing. Google Assistant needs to replace Bixby. The included band seems to have a lot of nickel in it, causing contact dermatitis in a number of people, including me. The sleep tracking is terribly inconsistent. The meh: The battery life could be better, but if you get in the habit of letting it charge for an hour at a repeatable time each day, then it should be fine.

I love the design the quality and the os. The battery sucks and you have to charge this everyday to get through each day.

The watch case feels very sturdy and well-built. The screen is fantastic and the vibration motor is strong and quiet. The battery life seems to be pretty good. I can go nearly two days off of a charge with always on display and about an hour workout each day. The only issues I have with the watch is that the band quality is poor; it's stiff and looks cheap. The software is a little buggy and I'm surprised that the watch doesn't have Google assistant considering it's a Wear OS watch.

I was originally looking at the Fitbit Sense, but you have to subscribe to Premium (monthly fee) to get the full sleep analysis. It's free on the Galaxy Watch 4, so I went with that. My previous watch was the Galaxy Watch 3, so I was already used to the less than ideal battery life, but I guess it could be worse. The screen is large and beautiful, and the various health tracking tools are great. They seem to work well, and match other doctor grade tools pretty well.

This watch is definitely worth the upgrade if you're still using tizen. The Android software is more fluid and has way less hiccups. The only downside about watch 4 is the battery. It doesn't last nearly as long as watch 5. But they are basically the same watch. I chose the 4th version because i wasn't ready to give up the rotating bezel and i got it a really steal discount. It's definitely worth it.

OS is snappy on this compared to previous versions. Samsung's skin over the new Wear OS is great. I would not recommend this watch for people who are NOT using a Samsung phone. It's a fantastic Samsung watch for Samsung phones but just on ok smartwatch for Android phones. You're locked out of some features if you're not using a Samsung phone. If you are, you're totally set with this watch. Brightness is great. I love the rotating bezel. It feels very premium. Stainless steel body and buttons. It's awesome. Samsung does need to focus more heavily on the HAPTICS of their watches. Apple still reigns as the king of haptic engines on their smartwatches. Watch straps are pretty universal. The mechanism. So you can just buy bands that would fit basically any watch out there that uses the same size band. The battery life (based on my daily usage patterns) is fantastic. Easily gets through an entire day without issue. The charging is fast enough, IMO. I never felt like I was waiting long for a full charge. Another thing I should point out is that you should never buy a mobile device like this based on what the OEM promises to introduce down the line. In this case, Google Assistant on this watch. Samsung and Google promise it will arrive but so far it's not here yet. So I would say do not buy stuff based on promised future features. I bought this watch knowing that Google Assistant will not arrive for many, many months. If at all. Again, this is a no-brainer if you're using a Samsung phone. If you're using any other Android-powered phone, you're better off looking elsewhere.

This watch replacing my aging Apple Watch 2 as I moved back to Android. I am loving this watch, its very responsive, intuitive to use, I personally love the circular form factor and the battery life much better than the Apple Watch. The only negative is that you need a Samsung phone to fully enjoy all the features ( e.g. EKG, Remote Camera App). Also, the included band is not very good I ended up getting the sports band which is much better. If the watch would seamlessly work with all devices on Google WearOS it would be perfect for me.

This watch does a lot more than my older samsung watch classic. I can see why samsung made a new operating system for watches series 2 and up. This new OS is doing a lot more, however it also uses more battery power, so thie battery on this watch last about 2 days on average, comoared to 3 days on the original galaxy classic. Overall very good watch.

Samsung continues to impress with their watch designs and comfortability of use. Only thing I would mark down is the battert usage. One full charge will last the entire day. I typically turn on the watch at 5 AM when I wake up and when I go to bed around 9 PM it is at 39 percent. Hopefully the battery usage can be improved. Overall great watch. I have had a series of Galaxy watches and this one is by far the most elegantly designed

I fell in love with this watch months before buying it. I love the design making it look like a classic watch, and the turning bezel is one of my favorite features, it's a nice fidget toy. Ive bought so many different wristbands for it to match my outfits. The battery lasts me about 2 days, I charge it every other day for 1 - 2 hours to get to a full charge. 100% worth the price

I've waited to get a smartwatch until the Galaxy Watch 4 came out and I was not disappointed. This watch is stylish, though could have used a better band, very functional and super convenient. The battery life is more than I hoped for and it has made my life legitimately easier. Not many pieces of tech truly improve your life. It is so much more convenient to interact with notifications quickly on my wrist and then go back to whatever task is at hand without digging a phone out of my pocket or searching around for it. I was able to get it set up in under an hour and "dialed" in to my liking within a day or so. The durability of the stainless steel housing is even more robust that I was expecting. I've hit it on doorways, tables, and it's been through the factory environment for a few weeks now with zero wear. I get about a day and a half to two days, depending on use. If i wanted, I could go two weeks without charging through the watch only feature that only shows the time and no other functions. I opted for the bluetooth model as I dont really want to go anywhere without my phone and the lte plan adds cost and reduces battery life. If you have been waiting for an android watch to make your Apple friends jealous or just want more convenience in your life, I highly recommend the Samsung Galaxy watch 4.

For me this is an upgrade from my old Gear S3 Frontier. Initially I loved the watch, mainly because it wasnt beaten up and had the new sensors i wanted. Now that I've had it since release I have to say the "new" feelining has worn off and I am finding that I dont love it as much. For starters, the availability of watch faces is very limited and most of the ones available I do not find match the options i had from my favorite watch faces. Second, the watch faces that are available require you to purchases a premium version to get all the features advertised. Third, it functions more like an Apple Watch then it does an android watch. I liked the old "gear" software the watch ran on. This newer watch os is to much like apple, which i dislike (why i have stuck with Android for nearly 15 years). As for feel, or "wearability" i have no issues with. I wear my watch for 12-14 hrs everyday and not once has it bothered me. It is "chuncky' so i have be careful when walking close to something so i dont bang it off of it ( Engineering teams take note that Apple Watch "bump guard" cases would be a great idea for Samsung Watches). Overall I am happy with the watch, will be glad when more watch faces become available, and only give it 4 stars because the OS is to much like Apple's.

Excellent watch, good style, really easy to use, work fast

Watch is easy to use even for someone who isn’t technically savvy (like me). I love that I can personalize the screen with different faces or use pics as the background. My only complaint which is true with most smart watches, is the battery life. I wish I didn’t have to charge it every night.

This smart watch has been a game changer to me as a Samsung user. While the other brand that won't be mentioned, boasts its abilities, This Samsung Galaxy Watch4 is a perfect extension to any of the more recent Galaxy phones in the market today. If your into the default Samsung apps, it will work out of the box. If your an Android enthusiast and want that flexibility, this watch is for you too. I have done everything possible to use as much as the google apps as possible on this watch and it works great. Picks up on Messages as flawless as responding from a phone. Only a few cons to mention, but I'm sure the other brand, which I won't mention, also might experience from as well so I think they're on a equal playing field. Battery life is strictly a full day between charging. At most conservative modes, the battery still ends up depleting by the end of the day. Some features like most of the fitness tracking capabilities are tied to Samsung Fitness, so your stuck having to use that and not the Google alternative. Not much of a deal breaker, but would like to have options.

I switched to this watch from a Fitbit charge 5. So far everything about it is great. I have synced it with a Samsung phone, so they work great together. They charge 5's screen was to small and this watch works great. Apps are very good and use is very simple to learn. Only short coming is the battery life. It needs improvement here.

Easy setup, smooth syncing with my Samsung phone. Bought it on discount at BBuy. Best feature is still the physical bezel you can turn to toggle for options (need to disclose: this is my 4th Galaxy watch)

Great watch at a great price. Very intuitive and easy to use. I bought it for traveling and to keep up on my activities (Walking, Running, Etc.) I really enjoy the notifications while traveling. The ability to change the display keeps this watch fresh and I like the ability to upload my own pictures.
