Customers are saying

Customers regard the Galaxy Watch5 Aluminum Smartwatch 40mm BT favorably for its ease of use, numerous features, and stylish design, with many appreciating its comfortable size. However, a significant drawback reported by users is the battery life, which is considered insufficient by many. Other less frequently cited concerns include the absence of a rotating bezel from previous models and limitations with the ECG functionality for non-Samsung phone users. The watch's sleep and step tracking capabilities also receive positive feedback.

Got the Samsung watch to monitor heart rate because of health issues. The heart rate monitor is not anywhere near accurate. It’s been 16 days since purchase and now it says not returnable.

Our goal is for our customers to feel like they are having the most unforgettable experiences while using our products. Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Galaxy watch 5

Recently I purchased my first smartwatch the galaxy watch 5. There are two sizes for the watch a forty millimeter and a forty-four millimeter, but I went with the smaller one to avoid bulkiness. This being my first smartwatch I do not have anything to compare but the convince makes me question why I have not gotten one earlier. One of my favorite features is the fitness aspect of the watch and all the vitals it can measure. Connecting the watch was quick and easy even without having a Samsung phone its all done through a single app. After connecting there is tons of customization such as different watch faces or what notifications you want on your home screen. As far as comfort goes it’s as comfortable as other watches of the same size. The battery life is fair I get about 28 hours of battery life but with the quick charge feature I typically stay above 15 percent charge. As far as features go my favorite part of the watch and the main reason I bought a smart watch was for the heart rate monitor and step counter that I have found to be fairly accurate. One feature that I use more than I thought I would is the Spotify app and being able to change and pick songs on my watch or switch playlist was surprisingly useful. Another really convenient feature is being able to quickly look at notifications on the watch. As for downsides there is not many that I have incurred yet other than if you don’t have the always on display that sometime the watch won’t turn on and you have to dramatically flip your wrist a few times. Overall I really like the new Samsung galaxy watch 5 and would recommend it to anyone that is on the fence of buying their first smartwatch.

I've overall been very pleased with this purchase, especially as I got it on clearance (mine is an ex-display). It does more or less everything I've expected of it (monitoring heartrate and sleep were the big things for me, everything else like helping me manage medications and monitor my food intake is just a plus). Battery life is good after fiddling with power saving settings. I'm able to get about 2 days of charge out of it, and that's with it logging my heartrate every 10 minutes day and night. I just turned off functions that aren't useful to me to make up for it. My two real gripes with the Galaxy Watch5 are: 1) lack of blood pressure monitor. This feature is available in other countries but not the USA sadly. However, this seems to be more a factor of getting FDA approval rather than the product itself. 2) The strap it comes with is not as comfortable or durable as I would like. You can buy alternative straps, however for the price tag I would expect something that holds together a little better.

After having a Fitbit for a few years, i was reluctant to switch to Samsung. Ibdo like the round face as so manynhave the rectangular or square faces. I like to be different. I prefer the food diary in the Fitbit app better. I'm a little disappointed with the battery life. I have to keep it on power save so I dont have to charge it every day.

Got this for my wife as a present and she loves it. Battery last several days and helps her keep track of her fitness. She also like how well it shows all of her calls and messages so when she is at work she can just look at her watch and not have to pull out her phone all the time.

I love this thing! I wanted it to track my exercise, my daily steps, and my heart rate. It does exactly what I wanted and more. I wear it at night and it shows how I slept. It tracks my body composition: weight, muscle, fat. This watch is a HUGE motivator for me. I'm so glad I have it :)

I love all the health tracking and options on the watch. The interface is user-friendly and i really like the personalization options for the watch face and apps. I only have mine using Bluetooth and wifi, and I feel like the connection between phone and watch isnt great. I don't get some notifications that I'd expect to get and I don't feel like the distance I'm able to go away from my phone is very far before they disconnect. I had a cheaper watch before that connected Bluetooth and I could go anywhere in my house with my phone staying in my room without problems. I can't do that with this watch which is frustrating. I didn't want to do the extra monthly fee of adding a line to my phone plan but I have considered it so that they could be connected more easily. Everything else about the watch is great honestly!

    Ridiculous Watch Bezel

    Posted .

Samsung was one of the 1st to have a phone that covered the entire display, even went around the edges. So, my question is why on something as small as a watch would you not use the whole display? I literally hate the bezel around the outside of the display on the Galaxy Watch 5. See picture. The Bezel takes 1/4 of the screen that is blank. Haven't decided yet if I will send it back? Come on Samsung. What a let down. For reference, I previously had a Huawei for 6 years that was great and did cover the entire display. Very disappointing Samsung.
