Galaxy Watch 5 a worthy upgrade
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Galaxy Watch 5 is Samsung’s second generation Google Wear OS watch that has many feature upgrades over past generations. This watch comes with Sapphire glass that is more durable than their previous watches and holds up well in day to day use. The watch is very light compared to previous models as well and felt more like a fitness tracker and put much less strain on my wrist. Setting up the watch was easy as it goes straight into pairing mode and the companion phone app found it right away. The fitness and sleeping tracking worked great out of the box and helps motivate me into walking more. One thing needs to be said about the battery life is that it is enough to get through 1 day of normal use but you'll need to charge it soon after or even the same day if you are a heavy user. There are many watch faces and color schemes to choose from so you will definitely fined one that suits your tastes. All in all the Galaxy Watch 5 is a decent smart watch that is durable and feature filled and I do recommend it.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had Samsung watches for years and just replaced my older Active 2 one with this 5 and I'm very happy. Overall it functions relatively the same way, however I've noticed it's a little faster, more responsive and I love just swiping up for the app drawer, makes so much more sense. Another difference is that although it's listed as the same size it looks and feels bigger on my wrist, probably because of the flat screen. It's no longer a curved bubble, which I find much better. The font is bigger, easier to read without glasses. I like the look of an oversized watch on my very small wrist, but that's a matter of taste, just be aware, it will surprise you. Lastly, the battery life, sadly isn't much better if at all, but I've made my piece with that, because I love the watch and I've gotten used to putting it on the charger while I'm having coffee in the morning every other day. The positive side to this is that charging is much, much faster so that's pretty much takes care of the battery issue for me. If you are someone that doesn't understand the need for a watch since you have your phone, you have no idea how annoying it is to dig your phone out of your purse when you're busy or juggling things at a store in order to see if its important when it's ringing or getting an alert or waiting for an important call. In short, love it, get it, enjoy it!

Great smartwatch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought it to replace my old gear S3, and so far it's performing well. It was inexpensive compared to the titanium one, but the battery life still lasts me 2 days with infrequent use. I also use it to play a Spotify playlist while away from my phone. I don't use any of the Samsung pay features, so I can't comment on those. I do occasionally check my heart rate on it more out of curiosity than anything. It seems to have a lot of fitness-related bells and whistles but I just keep things simple for the most part.

Nice Watch with Good Health Tracking
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been enjoying this watch from Samsung. I like just about everything about it. The thing I like the most is the sleep tracker. I'm always interested in the quality of sleep that I get and this watch breaks it down into quantitative units to help me understand how I'm sleeping. The sleep tracker is just one of the health trackers available. Others include heart rate, ecg, stress meter, step counter, calorie burner, and so on. The watch is comfortable to wear. The face may be a bit big for women, but it fits my wrist well. The band doesn't irritate my skin, even after wearing it pretty much nonstop. Even with the constant tracking, the battery lasts almost two days. The watch face is easy to navigate and is very responsive. My biggest complaint is that it is too responsive. It will react to just about anything that touches it; not just your finger. This leads to things being opened/changed when you don't want them to, like if the watch touches your leg when sitting. The only other negative is that there seems to be too many different health tracking apps loaded on the watch. I want just one app to track all health metrics. All in all it's a good watch that looks good and is pretty useful.

An Outstanding Companion
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had the privilege of owning and using the Samsung Galaxy Watch5 since April, and I must say it's nothing short of amazing. From its sleek design to its extensive range of features, this smartwatch has been an integral part of my daily life, and I couldn't be more satisfied with it. One of the most notable aspects of the Galaxy Watch5 is its reliability. I'm delighted to report that I haven't encountered any issues since I started using it, and I sincerely hope this trend continues. The watch still performs as flawlessly as the day I unboxed it, and that's a testament to its build quality and durability. With a plethora of features at my disposal, it excels in serving various purposes. Whether it's tracking my fitness goals, receiving notifications, or managing my schedule, the watch never disappoints. Its ability to seamlessly sync with my phone and provide real-time updates has been a game-changer, especially when I can't easily access my phone. The battery life is another remarkable aspect of this smartwatch. I can wear it all day without worrying about constant recharging. It easily lasts through my busy schedule, making it a reliable and convenient addition to my life.

Samsung has perfected the people's smartwatch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My wife, who doesn't like "techy things", wanted a fitness tracker for steps, calorie and sleep tracking that looked somewhat refined. After some online research I opted to get her the Galaxy Watch 5 44mm in white/ aluminum without the sim card option. This Galaxy Watch is user friendly, easily customizable and able to withstand some bumps, bounces and water submersion. The watch fits my wife nicely and she likes the bigger screen which makes touch control easier. The white silicone band with aluminum bezel color option will allow her to easily adapt the watch to different color/style bands in the future. Me being somewhat "techy" I had the watch paired and synced quickly with her Galaxy S22 Ultra (like 30 seconds to pair and sync) and had the watch customized to her liking within several minutes. If you are like my wife and not comfortable with the setup find a gamer kid/techy person in the family and tell him/her to have at it. They will be glad to help and may even find a few features you didn't know you wanted. I found setting this watch up for my wife's use was intuitive and fun. If you're already a Samsung Galaxy phone user, the Galaxy Watch 5 user interface has the familiar Samsung phone look and feel and you will enjoy interacting with the device throughout the day as Samsung adapted their intuitive UI to this watch and operations came naturally to my wife within a few hours. The preloaded Fitness App on the Galaxy S22 Ultra has deeper insights and is user friendly without additional costs. The app can be linked to other fitness, women's health and nutrition apps. The watch charges quickly with the included magnetic charging adapter plugged into a Samsung Fast Charger. With a full charge around 9p daily the watch lasts all day for my wife who receives constant messaging, social media and email notifications during the day. If you always have your phone within reach you may not want or need the Galaxy Watch version that has a sim card slot in it for data connection. Without the sim card the watch still allows music control and text /email reading/ quick response function. Having a sim card with phone/text/streaming ability seems a little much for most users as the phone to watch connection has good range. This watch uses a dedicated phone/watch connection when paired to a Galaxy phone which then allows the phone to keep Bluetooth connection to your earbuds or speaker, and I feel that this is suitable for most people who enjoy going to the gym or working around the house/yard If you have a Samsung phone and want a user friendly, easy to understand watch with realistic health tracking, phone notification interfacing and music control the Galaxy Watch 5 without SIM card option is the best choice over Garmin or FitBit. Garmin is better for techy people or those needing true rugged style watch. Fitbit is better suited for people who like to spend money for no reason and/or iPhone users.

Awesome watch. Good design. Value for money.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One star less only because of the battery life. Otherwise this watch is a winner. Its beautiful, smooth and soft. The case is scratch resistance so it helps to change case cover. Plenty of band options available in market to match with your outfits. The text messages, emails, app notifications, call from watch work fine. I bought 44mm watch so it has a bigger screen size that is very helpful for emails and messaging. I would recommend this size for everyone. The watch is light weight. Samsung fitness app works fine with it and is very helpful. Samsung blood pressure needs to be setup and samsung wallet is very helpful to use while making payments. Samsung payment comes in the US version which is the one available thru BestBuy. Charge it everyday for 45-60 mins and it will be good. I recommend 44mm galaxy 5. Good value for money esp. since galaxy watch 6 will soon be available in market so watch 5's price will go down. Its better than Apple's. It can be used with any andriod phone. You are not comfined to the apple ecosystem.

Great comfort, features, and battery life.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After having a smaller, square-shaped Fitbit for years, I wanted to try a Samsung watch. I was concerned that the larger, round face would be an issue, but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortably it fits. It has a TON of features that are awesome. Also, the reason I switched from my Fitbit was it was constantly unpairing itself, stopping my notifications, etc. No problem here. I haven't had any issues with that so far. Navigating the shear number of features can be cumbersome, but there are ways to streamline the process with shortcuts, so that's more of a user thing. Also, while not as long as my old Fitbit, the battery life is pretty impressive... probably about 3 days. All in all, I definitely recommend this watch!

Good smartwatch with good interfaces and features
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had multiple Fitbit smartwatches and they all began falling apart right after the warranty ended. I decided to try out the Galaxy watch and it has been significantly better than any other watches I've had. It has all the expected features (heart rate, steps, excercise, sleep, etc.) but slightly better. The screen is is very bright and crisp, and all apps, calling, AND typing work quickly and easily. The battery life is around 3-4 days with light usage, and otherwise I haven't had it long enough but build quality is nice. The clock is also very customizable, with custom backgrounds, stat progress bars, apps, all on the home screen without making it hard to read or blocking info.

Good Watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sadly had to replace my Active4 watch only after a couple years as glass top just slid off one day. Enjoying my new Active5 version as I've had several Samsung before. Battery life is slightly better but was hoping for more. Otherwise all good so far.

Watch 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving my watch so far! I had a 4 that completely fell apart after leaving it on in a chlorine kiddie pool. I haven't dared to try this one to see if the result would be the same so I really haven't tested it with water. I love all the features and that I can have a picture of my kids on the display and pictures display in text messages too.

Fantastic
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve been using my Samsung Watch for a while now, and I’m really happy with it! The design is sleek and comfortable, and the display is bright and easy to read. It tracks my fitness, heart rate, and sleep accurately, and the battery life is pretty good compared to other smartwatches. I love how well it integrates with my phone, making it easy to check notifications, take calls, and even control music. The customization options for watch faces and apps are a nice touch too. The only downside is that some features work best with Samsung phones, but overall, it’s a fantastic smartwatch. Highly recommend!

Really happy with the Galaxy Watch 5
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've been looking for a smart watch to go with my Samsung phone over the past couple of months. I tried the Galaxy Watch 4, which was good, but the battery didn't last long enough. So I switched to a Garmin Venu2 Plus, but some of the tracking was really off compared to the Galaxy watch and the smart features weren't great. The Galaxy Watch 5 is the best of both worlds. Much better battery life, great sleep and workout tracking, and the smart features work the way I want them to. (At least within the limits of Wear OS.) Really happy with this watch for what I'm looking for in a smart watch.

Best watch ever by samsung
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best battery life. Touch response with screen protective case is also good. Don't expect to speak through watch in noisy areas cause the sound is a little bit low but it's not a major flaw. In my case it's not a flaw at all cause i don't use it for calls. Sleep tracking is working good. More over lots of positive things from my end. Good work samsung.

Great Watch with Good Battery Life
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great watch, good battery life and not to heavy. Love the big display area, makes reading messages much easier. The features that come on the watch are super cool and easy to use. The band that comes with the watch is comfortable and looks good, I added some bling! I was skeptical about this watch due to other reviews I had read. Happy I made this purchase.
