Galaxy 5 Pro is AWESOME!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 61 years of age - this is my first Smart Watch. I finally upgraded my phone to the 23-Ultra recently and thought I would add a watch to my arsenal. Seems durable, has plenty of useable features - which for me works well. I have only had it for less than a week - but I'm loving it so far!

Great comfort, features, and battery life.
||Posted . I was concerned that the larger, round face would be an issue, but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortably it fits. It has a TON of features that are awesome. Also, the reason I switched from my Fitbit was it was constantly unpairing itself, stopping my notifications, etc. No problem here. I haven't had any issues with that so far. Navigating the shear number of features can be cumbersome, but there are ways to streamline the process with shortcuts, so that's more of a user thing. Also, while not as long as my old Fitbit, the battery life is pretty impressive... probably about 3 days. All in all, I definitely recommend this watch!

Samsung watch
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've always had an Apple watch and was nervous when I had to switch to Android for work. Apple watches don't work with Androids. But this watch is amazing and I actually like it more than I liked my Apple watch. I like the size I like the form factor I like that it looks like an actual watch. And it's titanium so it's so light that I don't even know it's on my wrist. Fortunately also it has good software so that there are no bugs like other non Apple wearables. If you're going to use a Android-based wearable this is the one!

Good smartwatch with good interfaces and features
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had multiple Fitbit smartwatches and they all began falling apart right after the warranty ended. I decided to try out the Galaxy watch and it has been significantly better than any other watches I've had. It has all the expected features (heart rate, steps, excercise, sleep, etc.) but slightly better. The screen is is very bright and crisp, and all apps, calling, AND typing work quickly and easily. The battery life is around 3-4 days with light usage, and otherwise I haven't had it long enough but build quality is nice. The clock is also very customizable, with custom backgrounds, stat progress bars, apps, all on the home screen without making it hard to read or blocking info.

Galaxy watch 5 pro
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great item, it has a lot of features, charges super fast and battery last several days before the low battery notification comes up. Band is comfortable and I like the fact that every time I take it off and put it on, I have to put in a code for safety.

Good watch
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great watch. I purchased open box at my local store. The person that returned it kept thefast charger and the band. They replaced it with the older slow charger and a generic band. Not sure how best buy lets things like that happen. Anyway I purchased the fast charger and a withit band set that is better than samsungs band. Still got it for a great buy. Battery life is on par with my frontier that I finaly had a worthwhile reason to replace. Only downside is we are still waiting for an update for blood pressure monitor to work. Samsung should not have advertised the blood pressure if they can't get it FDA approved, shame on them for that. Everything else works great. I will now wait for the next best watch release from samsung in maybe another 6 years. It's much lighter weight than the galaxy frontier it replaced. Just make sure to remove the watch if you work on things that may scratch it, like working on cars or machinery.

Pricey but worth it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the people who are concerned about the size ... yes it's big, but it doesn't get in the way. I've banged it a few times. I'm accident prone. It's not just because of the size. I don't pay attention to where my arms are in relation to my body. Door jambs and walls, beware. There are no dings, dents, scratches, etc. I don't miss the rotating bezel. Yes, I do, who am I kidding. But it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. You can still scroll using the touch bezel, and the lip on the pro helps immensely. I really was against losing the rotating bezel, and I thought long and hard before getting this watch. But I figured it wasn't coming back, so I should conform. When wearing a jacket, the rotating bezel would catch and scroll through everything. It bothered me, but it was a pro/con thing, and I liked it more than that one little flaw. The touch bezel doesn't have that problem. So, I've turned the raise to wake feature on not fearing my jacket would scroll away to oblivion. The battery life is not exactly as promised. So, I'm not sure how they got like 80 hours unless they shut everything off. I can't remember exactly what I have on, but it's not a lot. I get about 50-55 hours before needing a recharge. I can't imagine what the regular watch 5 battery is like if this one is so short. However, note that it takes less than 2 hours to fully charge from nearly dead. Take that for what it's worth. Lots of nice apps to install on it. I've tried some of the health / fitness apps, and I find them to be nice and somewhat useful. They won't be regular routine things I use, but they're interesting to have. A person more apt to engage in exercises and outdoor activities would probably benefit more than me. Samsung Pay is a nice bonus. Seems to work better than previous versions. Ipersonally like that it's Samsung to go with my Samsung phone so I know that they'll work well together. Overall, it was totally worth the purchase. Unless Samsung does something bad to the line, I'll continue to get their watches.

Good watch. I would love to see more features.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had owned the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for some time. I was very pleased with it, but I had hoped for a better battery. So I decided to try the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. I am thrilled the the extra battery power and the faster charge time. Most other features are the same. I thought I would miss the mechanical bezel but found I can use the touch just as easy. Even though the watch is thicker it still looks great and is not an issue. I did not like the new magnetic clasp band though. I found I was catching it on things and it would pop open. Usually on my belt when I reached for my wallet or was carry things with both hands.

Very tough watch...
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this watch...2 days of heavy use or 3 to 4 with power saver turned on. Its so light you don't even know you're wearing it, and the sapphire crystal glass hasn't scratched at all. Have banged it against so many things and except for the black on the titanium wearing off a little its a tank.

Good Watch
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sadly had to replace my Active4 watch only after a couple years as glass top just slid off one day. Enjoying my new Active5 version as I've had several Samsung before. Battery life is slightly better but was hoping for more. Otherwise all good so far.

Excellent Watch
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd Samsung Galaxy watch. So far I like it very much. I haven't used the health features as much as I should, but what I have used, such as heart rate and oxygen blood level is ok. I use the media controls at work for Bluetooth, contactless pay, calculator, GPS, reviewing and replying to messages, weather, date and of course time. Purchased it on sale which I'm happy about. I also like the band. Simple and comfortable.

||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I did quite a bit of research and comparisions before deciding on this Samsung Smart Watch. Went from a Fitbit Sense to the Samsung based on the research. Watch does everything I need: Records exercise Monitors Health with the following functions: SPO2 Heart Rate Sleep with Snore detection EKG Calories burned during sleep and exercise And much more Takes a short time to figure out functionality of the device. I purchased the titanium case for extra durability. This was well worth the upgrade from my Fitbit Sense.

Great Watch
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As advertised, the battery life is excellent compared to other Galaxy watches I've owned. I have been able to wear it for 4 days before charging is needed. (Not on battery saver) Very light weight. D-buckle is a nice feature. It stays closed great and was easy to adjust. I've worne it nearly 24 hours a day for the last month and have no marks on case, face, or band. Even the packaging is nice. Over all, I am glad I purchased this watch.

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Loving my watch so far! I had a 4 that completely fell apart after leaving it on in a chlorine kiddie pool. I haven't dared to try this one to see if the result would be the same so I really haven't tested it with water. I love all the features and that I can have a picture of my kids on the display and pictures display in text messages too.

Only issue I have isn't device related...
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.so I went from an iPhone 11 to a Samsung 23 ultra last year. i decided to also venture into smart watches which led me into getting a decent deal on a Fitbit versa 2. it's been not quite almost a year, but close enough. and it's fine. but i recently played with the idea of getting a Samsung watch for several reasons. just could never justify spending so much on a smart watch...and then I found the 5pro and the-in my opinion- great deal on it. $200? sold! device review: 5/5* it's a learning curve somewhat when moving from a basic smartwatch. but so far so good. I did not charge it before using it; it arrived with around 65% battery. I charged it when it was in the red and if I'm reading right, it's currently at 52% and it's been a 1 day and 6h since I last charged it and it's estimating 1d7h left. My Fitbit lasted at most 2.5ish days. I wish Samsung sold some type of charger puck holder but I've seemed to have found one online that I'm going to try out. very pleased so far. Band review: 0/5* just awful. i hate it. it's either too loose or too tight and extremely sweaty. also feel like the magnet is already weaker and it's only been 2 days since I've had the watch. i ordered the same band I had with the Fbit to hopefully remedy my complaints. however my brother likes the band it came with.

Great personal upgrade of hardware
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upgraded from the older Gear S3, wanted to let the newer models get things smoothed out before making the change. Been super happy with the better battery life and performance level, which is to be expected with the age difference. Do sometimes miss the rotating bezel but the digital version does a good enough job, or just sliding across the screen works fine. Definitely like the additional measurements it performs for things. Just hoping more apps become available on the watch as thing continue on. The new watch band also has its quirks but, do like how much faster it is to put the watch on.

Thumbs up to the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had not worn a watch in years and wondered what it would be like. I got this one for the feature set and was pleased from the start. The battery time on the watch is about 2.5 to 3.5 days for me. I find it easy to recharge on lengthier drives from while I am working coding. The sleep habits it tracks are helpful to me. The timer is easy. I probably use 30% of the available features only. I synch it with my todolist and have found that helpful also. I would recommend this watch to anyone.
