    My Samsung watch 5 Pro

Had my samsung watch 5 pro about year and half. It served me well to a point. Started to have little things here and there, that weren't working to my expectations. The battery life was good for at least 2 days but I changed my each day, though I read that you shouldn't, but I had the Watch 3 Frontier and it did need charging everyday so I formed a habit. I used it for tracking my heart rate and oxygen level. I used widget to measure steps when walking but never needed the GPS. I thought when I bought it it would read my blood pressure, but later found out that function wasn't available in United States. At the time it was pricey but now less so to new models or comparable. I will be getting the 7 ultra and expecting it to serve me well in the health monitoring and hopefully other things as well. Pro5 would be a good choice in my opinion but if you can afford the lastest model I would go for that instead from reviews I've read. One other thing, the band. At first I didn't think I'd like it, but that changed. It fit comfortably allowing contact with my wrist for good readings.

Galaxy Watch 5 Pro has probably the best battery life among all previous versions of the series. It easily lasts more than 2 days after a full charge. It is very comfortable on the wrist and does not feel too bulky. It does not have a rotating bezel which the Watch 4 had so you might be a little disappointed if you were used to navigating stuff using the rotating bezel. All in all, very happy with the purchase.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is a stylish and well-built smartwatch that offers a great user experience. The watch's classic design with a titanium body and a sapphire crystal screen looks great on the wrist and feels very durable. The user interface is easy to navigate, making it simple to accept calls, track your fitness activities, and follow maps while you're on the go. One thing to keep in mind is that while the battery life is good, it could be even better. Especially for users who heavily rely on GPS tracking features. However, with typical use, you shouldn't have any complaints and can easily get through a day or more on a single charge. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is a great choice for Android smartphone users who are looking for a stylish, durable, and easy-to-use smartwatch.

This is an excellent watch! I've previously owned several Samsung Galaxy Watches, from the very first with the strange camera in the band, to the final one with magnetic card capabilities. I switched to a Mabovi Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS watch and was somewhat underwhelmed with the features and the abysmal battery life after using the device for about 2 years. Switching back to this Galaxy Watch 5 Pro kept the same interface, Google WearOS, and even the same watch faces I had purchased for WearOS on the Ticwatch. What really stands out is the increased processor speed vs the Ticwatch 3 GPS, no more stuttering when switching between aps or menus. GPS performance is much snappier vs the Ticwatch. The health sensors seem to be more accurate, and the addition of the EKG are a nice value add. Ultimately, the battery life is what you're really getting with the Watch 5 PRO. I've gone 3 days without having to charge the watch, with minimal use. The titanium case and band clasp look good and are very durable. Unfortunately, I accidentally bumped the watch face against a brick wall when passing by too closely, and while there was very minor paint damage, the watch still looks great. I do miss the rotating bezel of my old Samsung watch, this touch rotation they implemented to replace it works most of the time, but it doesn't feel as good as Samsung watches of old. Overall, I highly recommend this device if you need the durability and extended battery life. Otherwise, go for the Watch 5 (non-pro) version.

First Smartwatch. Definitely picked the right one. Got a great sales price, long battery life, and all kinds of great apps like health stuff, stress level, waterproof, and much more. It's also lite so not too heavy on my wrist.

So far i like the watch. I enjoy the multi day Battery life even with always on screen, location services etc. Watch is comfortable and the larger screen easy to read. Euros great with s23 ultra. Also like the durability, i am not worried about accidental bumps or contact with surfaces.

    Battery Better than Classic 4

I'm coming from the Classic 4 LTE, which was a good watch with the exception of a horrible battery life, slow charging, and overheating issues. Although this is the BT version (I no longer wanted the LTE), Samsung has addressed all three of the problem issues, while retaining all of the functions of the Classic 4. There has been no overheating, it has a good battery life, and it charges fast enough to get me back to 100% while I shower (I wear it overnight for sleep tracking). This is the watch that the Classic 4 should have been - it's just too bad I had to spend so much extra money to get it. The only thing missing that could be a disappointment for some is the rotating bezel. It takes a little bit to get used to touch rotation, but the outer edge helps guide your finger. I'm loving the band that came with it, but you can use your bands from the previous generation if you want.

I have owned and used exclusively Samsung watches since 2013 and this is the best one I've owned for several reasons. The battery life has consistently been the best while also having the most robust tech advances of any of the previous renditions. GPS is quite accurate when active and the activity auto detection actually works on this device. The only significant problem is the OEM watch band gets filthy really easily and stinks requiring you to clean it often. However it is very comfortable to wear.

After a long time of just thinking about getting one, being curious, I finally broke down and got a smart watch. A couple of friends of mine had one and they love them, but I wasn't sure if I would like it. Especially considering the price tag. But I love it. I love that it connects to my phone and tracks all my steps along with my phone. Tracking my sleep, heart rate, and blood oxygen has been really interesting and amazing. With Samsung Health app, you can join step challenges, or even challenge friends. I can respond to messages, even Facebook messages. So much you can do with it. You can even download all kinds of custom watch faces and change with just a few clicks. Great battery life. I've gotten almost 3 full days on one full charge with WiFi and location on. Def worth it and glad I finally made the leap.

I've always had an Apple watch and was nervous when I had to switch to Android for work. Apple watches don't work with Androids. But this watch is amazing and I actually like it more than I liked my Apple watch. I like the size I like the form factor I like that it looks like an actual watch. And it's titanium so it's so light that I don't even know it's on my wrist. Fortunately also it has good software so that there are no bugs like other non Apple wearables. If you're going to use a Android-based wearable this is the one!

I love this watch...2 days of heavy use or 3 to 4 with power saver turned on. Its so light you don't even know you're wearing it, and the sapphire crystal glass hasn't scratched at all. Have banged it against so many things and except for the black on the titanium wearing off a little its a tank.

So i bought this watch because it has an ekg feature on it that checks for heart rhythm irregularities. Plus i like new toys. Figured id go with the top of the line to get the biggest battery. I already had a nice watch and wasn't crazy about a smart watch that i had to take off and charge all the time. But i found a sale and reluctantly bought it. I've had it for a couple weeks now. I have not found a watch face that i like yet. But that is not a deal breaker. It picks up my heartbeat which i like during workouts and tells me when I'm sitting too long and need to move around, but that feature can be turned off. It has sleep metrix but i question the accuracy. I have a sleep number bed that is being delivered next month so I'm curious to see how close that is to the watch for tracking sleep. I like that it has a step counter but question its accuracy as well. I can get a good 4 days of use on a charge which is pretty good. One of the worst thungs is that i have to move my wrist a certain way or with speed for the screen to come on. I guess i can turn on the always on display but that would drain the battery more. It does have a blood pressure feature but apparently does not work where i live unless i hack the software. Kinda dumb. I think it's an ok gadget but priced on the high side for what it is. Oh yeah anf they don't give you a way to charge it either. You get a magnetic divice with a C type connector on the cable but if you don't have a charging block or anything to charge a C type cord then you better go buy one. I found that out the hard way.

Returned Pixel Watch for the Watch 5 Pro

TLDR version: I traded my recently purchased Pixel Watch for this Watch 5 Pro and it’s a massive improvement. I no longer watch the battery drain quickly every hour and don’t need to turn off features just to get through the day. I’m easily tracking sleep, exercise, and in general enjoying the watch itself. It’s a great design, fun to use, and looks great. It’s also a very good upgrade from my previous Samsung Watch 3. I do miss the rotating physical bezel, but the digital bezel functions extremely well. It’s a bit pricey, but I highly recommend it. Longer version: I purchased this watch after being massively disappointed about the Pixel Watch. Before the Pixel Watch, I was using a Samsung Gear 3. I really like the Gear 3 and have no major gripes. But for years, I patiently awaited the arrival of a true Google smartwatch. When they finally announced the Pixel Watch, I knew it was going to be great. Why wouldn’t it be? They’ve had years to observe other folks making great watches. But it finally came out, I read all about the concerns of battery life, small bezel, etc and grew concerned. Most of the complaints turned out to be unjustified, but the one major complaints that was true was the battery life. It is recommended that you give the battery a week to learn how you will use it. In what world is that acceptable? But I gave it a chance and it didn’t improve. Instead, like many others, I learned to compromise and turned things off like always on display, tilt to wake, Google assistant, etc. Once I learned I would have to compromise, I decided I needed to return it. Although there wasn’t anything wrong with my Gear 3 (which I had attempted to replace with the Pixel Watch), I still wanted to upgrade it, so I opted for the Watch 5 Pro and no regrets so far. It looks great and runs smoothly. And best of all, it still very much feels like a Google product with most of the Google integration now that it runs Wear OS. The stock watch band that comes with it is actually very nice. It has a magnetic clasp which feels premium. Best of all, I’m not compromising on features with this watch by turning things off just to stretch battery life. I’m regularly getting 2+ days of battery without even considering putting it on charger. And usually by the time I charge it 2+ days later, it could still go another day pretty easily. Whereas with the Pixel Watch I constantly checked battery life and barely used the thing, with the Watch 5 Pro, I’m regularly using it and don’t feel the need to check battery nearly as much. I didn’t intend to make this a review about how this was much better than the Pixel Watch, but considering I returned my Pixel Watch to get this, I was hoping to maybe save some folks the hassle/disappointment that I experienced and encourage you to just get what I feel is the better watch.

At 61 years of age - this is my first Smart Watch. I finally upgraded my phone to the 23-Ultra recently and thought I would add a watch to my arsenal. Seems durable, has plenty of useable features - which for me works well. I have only had it for less than a week - but I'm loving it so far!

Great item, it has a lot of features, charges super fast and battery last several days before the low battery notification comes up. Band is comfortable and I like the fact that every time I take it off and put it on, I have to put in a code for safety.

Great watch. I purchased open box at my local store. The person that returned it kept thefast charger and the band. They replaced it with the older slow charger and a generic band. Not sure how best buy lets things like that happen. Anyway I purchased the fast charger and a withit band set that is better than samsungs band. Still got it for a great buy. Battery life is on par with my frontier that I finaly had a worthwhile reason to replace. Only downside is we are still waiting for an update for blood pressure monitor to work. Samsung should not have advertised the blood pressure if they can't get it FDA approved, shame on them for that. Everything else works great. I will now wait for the next best watch release from samsung in maybe another 6 years. It's much lighter weight than the galaxy frontier it replaced. Just make sure to remove the watch if you work on things that may scratch it, like working on cars or machinery.

For the people who are concerned about the size ... yes it's big, but it doesn't get in the way. I've banged it a few times. I'm accident prone. It's not just because of the size. I don't pay attention to where my arms are in relation to my body. Door jambs and walls, beware. There are no dings, dents, scratches, etc. I don't miss the rotating bezel. Yes, I do, who am I kidding. But it's not as bad as I thought it'd be. You can still scroll using the touch bezel, and the lip on the pro helps immensely. I really was against losing the rotating bezel, and I thought long and hard before getting this watch. But I figured it wasn't coming back, so I should conform. When wearing a jacket, the rotating bezel would catch and scroll through everything. It bothered me, but it was a pro/con thing, and I liked it more than that one little flaw. The touch bezel doesn't have that problem. So, I've turned the raise to wake feature on not fearing my jacket would scroll away to oblivion. The battery life is not exactly as promised. So, I'm not sure how they got like 80 hours unless they shut everything off. I can't remember exactly what I have on, but it's not a lot. I get about 50-55 hours before needing a recharge. I can't imagine what the regular watch 5 battery is like if this one is so short. However, note that it takes less than 2 hours to fully charge from nearly dead. Take that for what it's worth. Lots of nice apps to install on it. I've tried some of the health / fitness apps, and I find them to be nice and somewhat useful. They won't be regular routine things I use, but they're interesting to have. A person more apt to engage in exercises and outdoor activities would probably benefit more than me. Samsung Pay is a nice bonus. Seems to work better than previous versions. Ipersonally like that it's Samsung to go with my Samsung phone so I know that they'll work well together. Overall, it was totally worth the purchase. Unless Samsung does something bad to the line, I'll continue to get their watches.

I had owned the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for some time. I was very pleased with it, but I had hoped for a better battery. So I decided to try the Galaxy Watch5 Pro. I am thrilled the the extra battery power and the faster charge time. Most other features are the same. I thought I would miss the mechanical bezel but found I can use the touch just as easy. Even though the watch is thicker it still looks great and is not an issue. I did not like the new magnetic clasp band though. I found I was catching it on things and it would pop open. Usually on my belt when I reached for my wallet or was carry things with both hands.
