Got this for my wife after she had spent the last several years using a Fossil Hybrid HR with her various phones (LG and Samsung alike). Thinking this would go well with her Galaxy S22 Ultra, it seemed like a no-brainer since I myself have an Apple combo of smart devices. Set-up was relatively easy to follow along, but that was it. We thought notifications were enabled to go off when she would be on the phone (they never did, except for random times). All permissions were double checked with what others said should be enabled, so possibly a bug. Galaxy Wearable app? Didn't recognize the watch half the time, even after checking the watch and phone were connected to each other in the settings. One night, watch was on the charger beside our bed and it had an alarm set to go off (and settings showed it would do so even if it was on the charger). Alarm never went off. It was still showing the alarm was set to go off as intended every morning. But since I was already awake before the alarm time, I thought I'd check to see if maybe the watch would do something like it was supposed to for once. No alarm ever did go off. While the features Samsung promises seem like it's worth the price point for the watch, I cannot say just how true any of that is. And yes, we did reach out to Samsung customer service... and were told to factory reset our watch AND phone since clearly this was something out of their own control. Did that too; still having the same issues to this day, after having it for 14 days now.
