Samsung's Bluetooth and LTE smartwatches allow for easy messaging on the go. Users can create, view, and reply to messages using the Messages app without pulling out their Galaxy phone. Quick Messages and responses to declined calls are also supported. However, the watch must be connected to a Galaxy phone unless it is an LTE model with active service. If you were wanting to leave your smartphone at home or truly anywhere else and still be able to receive your calls, text messages, emails, and such on your watch, you would want an LTE version on this device. LTE versions work on wireless carrier networks to provide service to the watch. Additionally, both models feature the classic rotating bezel design for straightforward and quicker navigation. If the step and heart rate tracking features are not functioning properly, it may be due to a loose watch band or strap, or the need for a software update; a simple reboot may also resolve the issue.
