To manually adjust the brightness of the display: From Settings, tap Display and select an option: Brightness: Manually adjust the brightness of the display. The advertised Galaxy Watch6 is a Bluetooth version that would require the paired smartphone to be nearby in order for the watch to be fully functional. If you were wanting to leave your smartphone at home or truly anywhere else and still be able to receive your calls, text messages, emails, and such on your watch, you would want an LTE version on this device. LTE versions work on wireless carrier networks to provide service to the watch. Regardless of which Watch6 model you choose, you will benefit from enhanced features, including improved sleep and wellness tracking, heart rate notifications, and the largest screen ever in the Galaxy Watch series. Additionally, both models feature the classic rotating bezel design for straightforward and quicker navigation. If the step and heart rate tracking features are not functioning properly, it may be due to a loose watch band or strap, or the need for a software update; a simple reboot may also resolve the issue. To achieve optimal performance, check that the watch fits properly and is clean, reboot the device by pressing and holding both the Home key (Power key) and Back key for 7 seconds until it displays "Rebooting...," and if issues persist, check for software updates on the watch and the Galaxy Wearable app. For further accuracy, refer to our guide "Guide to getting the best results", for tips on getting the best results from your watch. The Galaxy Watch6 is designed to deliver long-lasting battery performance, with features like optimized power management and fast charging to ensure a smooth, day-long experience. There are several reasons why your Galaxy Watch may be experiencing battery drain or have decreased battery life. For example, certain apps can increase battery consumption. If your watch is paired with a Samsung phone you can use Samsung Members to perform a diagnostic on your watch battery. If it passes the test, you'll know the battery is in good condition. Also, make sure to check and make sure your watch is up to date with the latest software update. From your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app. Depending on your watch, you will either tap Watch settings or tap SETTINGS tab. Then, tap About watch, and then tap Update watch software. Or, tap About Gear, and then tap Update Gear software. Sometimes apps may have a bug that causes them to use excessive battery, make sure all your apps are up to date for the best performance.
