Samsung did it again, they added another excellent product to their Galaxy umbrella. The Samsung Galaxy Watch6 does not disappoint. I have far more good things to say about it than bad. It is so seamless having this watch work with all the typical Samsung apps in the ecosystem without having to get additional apps on your phone. First off, the appearance is very classy and simple. There’s no bezel just a flat surface with 2 side buttons. I was worried about it getting scratched because I’m a little rough on things but so far it has stood up. Normally I get bigger watch faces but this one fit me perfectly and there was a good measuring diagram on the box to see if it would fit your wrist. I love the design of the silicone band where the extra tail tucks back into the band. This allows for a snug fit with some cushion without cutting off circulation. I didn’t have any reactions to the silicone, but it does capture a lot of water. It traps water from washing hands, when it’s hot out, and when exercising. I didn’t have any issues with skin reactions from the sensor, on my last Galaxy watch I did so this is an improvement to me. The sensor is very… sensitive, which is a good thing. I didn’t have to wear the watch tight for it to pick up vitals. In the past I had to wear the sensor on my inner wrist so I’m glad this isn’t an issue anymore. I mostly got this watch for health tracking and I’m very impressed. It tracked my work out very well with steps, heart rate, and auto sensing a work out was happening. There was an informative graph of my heart rate and what my max and average heart rate was with a lot of breakouts. All of this just on the watch! You can view it on the phone in the Samsung Heath app to get a bigger view. There is a body mass function that runs different sensors through your body that seemed very accurate and informative. Again, a bigger break out is on the phone but the watch has most of what I wanted to look at. Stress and ECG monitoring are another two features that I really liked trying out. Everything is super easy to use and intuitive to read. My favorite feature of the whole watch is the sleep monitoring. Far improved from my prior watch. I didn’t have any tracking interruptions from moving in my sleep. There weren’t any accidental watch swipes into other apps. Samsung did an excellent job of capturing all the data on the watch screen so it’s quick to see how your rest was. When paired with the phone it will detect amount of time snoring. The watch sensor picks up your sleep cycles, blood oxygen level, and body temp. This provided me great insight to try to address sleep concerns. The watch battery and charge are impressive. I got about a day and a half of use on one charge, and it took less than 30min to fully charge. When the watch gets wet showering or swimming it has a feature to blow the water out of it with sound that works well. The display is bright but dimmable and very crisp. I think my biggest gripe with this watch is that it doesn’t come with a USB-C wall wort. I have a ton of the USB-A ones from over the years but the charger end needs USB-C so I had to go buy one. Overall, I highly recommend this watch though.

I used it with S22 and initial setup was breeze. I am upgrading from older Samsung watch and this one has bigger screen. The screen is much brighter as well, so when I am out in sun I can see the notifications much better with this one. Though the OS on this watch is from Google unlike my older one which uses Tizen, Samsung has put their UI on top. Because of which I did not see any difference functionality wise. The tracking for walking and running is perfect, notifications from the apps appears instantly. It does have EKG but you have to be 22+ years of age to use it. I read that it is because of some testing limitation and is imposed by the FDA and not Samsung. Apple watch is also restricted like this. Battery life is better but I am not sure if that is because of the google OS or simply the bigger battery in this watch. One negative though is that it did not come with wall adapter. Samsung ships it with a usb-c cable charger which is nice but does not include a USB-c adapter with it. Now that they have stopped shipping adapter with the phone, I had to use one from my iPad. Sleep tracking was automatic and I believe is accurate. It does look good in golden.

This is my first Samsung Galaxy Watch, and after a week of use, I am loving my new watch! As soon as I threw it on, it felt good, and I don’t think I can go back to having a square watch anymore. This thing looks beautiful and although I don’t have the Classic model, it feels classic compared to my other square watch it’s replacing. The screen display is also very good. It’s bright in direct sunlight and looks incredibly sharp in indoor settings. Zero complaints on the screen brightness and display. The quality built surprised me. I had only seen pictures of the watch and I thought it looked a bit slim and not durable, but once I got it on my hands, I was surprised at how good it felt for as slim as it is. The band also feels great on the wrist. It’s elegant and yet feels like it can sustain some rough situations. I’ve taken mine mountain biking and swimming already. Zero complaints. Fitness tracker also seems to be more accurate than my older watch, and this could be due to my other smartwatch being a couple years old, but I appreciate the accuracy because it’s important to me as it’s a feature I will be using the most. Battery life is decent. I am still waiting for a smartwatch that I can use for at least a week at a time, but we are probably some years from that, but this one gets about 2 days of use or sometimes 1.5 days if you’re using fitness tracker at least 2-3 times in those hours. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone looking for a smartwatch that works flawlessly with Android. No joke, as soon as you throw it on your wrist, you will love just how comfortable it feels and how good it looks!

So so happy I switched to Galaxy from Fitbit. I was afraid the screen face would be to big, but it turns out it's nothing like I thought and its perfect for a woman. This has so many more features and works great with phone app. Love it

    Galaxy Watch6 Review

Connecting this watch to my Galaxy phone was fast and seamless. After connecting my phone and watch all notifications for texts and calls have appeared on my watch without fail. While responding to texts is a bit difficult as the on-screen keyboard on the watch is tiny it does work and is viable if you do not have immediate access to your phone. Aside from integration with your calls and texts the other main feature of the watch is the fitness and health tracking features. The Galaxy Watch6 will track your steps and heartbeat automatically, with great accuracy, and allows for you to activate a workout mode. These workout modes come prebuilt with cycling, running, jogging, etc but also allow for creation of custom workouts. The Galaxy Watch6's is the most comfortable watch I have ever worn. The adjustable wrap is easy to secure and doesn't rub and irritate my skin. The face of the watch never gets too hot, even after extended use, and the aluminum material it is made of is comfortable when resting on your skin. Between the easy setup, seamless connections, and health features, and comfortability of the Galaxy Watch6 I can confidently recommend this watch to anyone in the market for a new smart watch.

This is my first smart watch. I've hesitated in the past because I didn't want something I had to charge every night. I'm coming from a Garmin Vivofit 3. The Garmin is a very simple device. It track steps, provides time, date and estimates distance traveled and calories burned. Because of its simplicity, I was able to get away with replacing the button cell battery about once a year. My requirements for a smart watch are rather simple. Step counter, notification from email, and texts and be able to occasionally handle phone calls. While it may have health sensors, I'm not initially interested in them. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 meets all of these requirements very easily. I have it paired to a Pixel 6A phone and it runs very well. I had to download and install the Galaxy Wear and Samsung Health Apps which is typically pre-installed on a Samsung phone. There may be some functions that are limited to Samsung phones, but I wasn't too concerned with that. There weren't any surprises with setup. I liked that I was able to find a chronograph style face very quickly. As I drilled down through the menu system, I found the Samsung Health settings and disabled all but the step counter. I was pleased to learn that with all of the other sensors disabled, I could easily get 2+ days of use out of the Galaxy Watch 6. There really wasn't much battery drain when just laying the watch down on my desk overnight. After my first try of setting up the watch with most of the health sensors disabled, I realized I somehow disabled the step counter too. I tried to guess which options would turn it back on but after playing with it on and off while going about my day, I gave up and just reset the watch. This wasn't the fault of the Galaxy Watch 6 or WearOS. I caused the problem. After the reset, I was able to accomplish my goal, disabled all the other sensors except step counting and I've been pleased with it since. There are several apps that the Galaxy Watch 6 has available, but I was initially turned off because I couldn't find a Gmail app (but I could find an Outlook app??). I initially thought this was a major oversight on Google's WearOS. I'm a Verizon customer and I like their Message+ app on their phones that allow you to manage texts better than Google's native Messages app. I couldn't find that either on the WearOS supported apps. After looking at the Notifications menu, I was able to find notification options for both Gmail and Message+ apps. While I cannot scroll through all my texts and emails on the watch, it does allow me to know when new messages come through and I can quickly preview them before I jump on my phone to tap out a reponse. When I flipped the Galaxy Watch 6 over, I noticed two silver ovals. I initially thought they were conductive sensors, but quickly realized they were release buttons for the band. I bought a band that matched my style as well as protective glass and body case. The band has a different style of pin release but I enjoy the new band more than the silicone strap that comes with the Watch 6. Also in the case is a small wireless charger. It has a USB-C connector, but no wall adapter. The charger is magnetic and helps to position the Watch 6 correctly for optimal charging. The watch itself charges quickly. I'll probably come around to the other health sensors even when they will put a drain on the battery. But so far, I'm enjoying the Galaxy Watch 6.

Overall very impressed with the quality and improvements from previous generations. Though i felt like the previous watch battery lasted longer. I believe the new features drain battery quicker. I charge it an hour a day instead of a couple hours every other day.

I love this watch. It is fast and responsive. It is also very light on my arm. The only reason i gave this 4 instead of 5 stars was for the battery life. It hasn't improved over watches that came out years ago. It lasts 1.5 days.
