My Galaxy 4 did not either. Must be something with Samsung's software.

Posted .Hi there NateL, thank you for sharing your feedback on your Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic. Tattoo ink can cause an interference with the sensor on the underside of the watch. If you do not have similar tattoos on your other arm you can switch the watch to that side and be able to wear more comfortably. It needs to be recharged every 2 days or less, which is twice as often as my previous watch which was a Garmin.
