    Pairing and battery a drawback...

    Watch is sleek and has many features. I have had difficulty with charging and battery. Connection with a Motorola phone has been difficult. Pairing is hard to achieve. If phone battery dies, watch battery soon discharges. Seems like it is made specifically to match with Samsung phone.

Samsung provides a 12-month warranty on our products for manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Various factors may be impacting your Galaxy Watch7 battery, causing it to drain quickly. A few examples may include background app activity, always-on display, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi usage. Your Galaxy Watch7 can last for several days before needing to be recharged, depending on your settings and how you use your device. If you're experiencing less than optimal battery life, please take a moment to review, "Reduced battery life on your Samsung smart watch" to learn what factors may be impacting your device. The Galaxy Watch7 is built on Wear OS, which is meant for all Androids, but it requires the Galaxy Wearable app, the Galaxy Watch7 Plugin, and Samsung Accessory Service to function properly. If your connection is failing, try clearing the cache of the Galaxy Wearable app on your Motorola, unpairing it from Bluetooth settings, and restarting both devices. If the phone battery dies, the watch actively searches for the connection via Bluetooth or switches to Wi-Fi/LTE, which can impact battery life. In regards to charging your device, please make sure that you're using the the original charger, that the back of the watch is clean, and that it is not in a hot environment.     Even though I picked it up on Black Friday. It was quick, and staff was extremely helpful, and professional. I love the watch, it is everything I hoped and wanted.

    I would have gave 5 stars if it work with iPhone but Samsung is lucky they still get keep their blood oxygen I am surprised masimo hasn't sue Samsung too why just apple

    Stroller pushing doesn't count

    Everything about this watch has been great. I've had it for about a3 weeks. Today took a trip to the magnificent mile in Chicago Illinois and was there from 10am til 520pm. 99% of time pushing stroller and it didn't track my steps or walking until that 1% that someone else pushed it. I had well over 6k steps (current goal amount) and walked well over 2-3 miles with no such tracking to happen. Highly disappointed for such an amazing watch

The accuracy of the watch's step measurement can be affected by the following factors: > Make sure your watch and the Samsung Health app are using the latest software. > Environmental and skin conditions may affect how well the steps are recorded. > Steps are not counted when there is no hand movement in the exercise. For example, steps may not be recorded when pushing a lawn mower or cart because your hands are not moving. The watch is intended to calculate real step counts while walking. > Walk naturally without looking at the watch or your shoulders, elbow and wrist being raised. When you walk looking at the watch, the accelerometer will not properly measure your steps taken, distance traveled, or even calories burned. > The step count may not increase immediately when walking or exercising due to the step count algorithm. When the algorithm detects 10 continuous steps, the algorithm starts to count your steps taken and updates the step count. > You may experience a brief delay before the Steps app displays your latest step count. There may also be a delay before the Goal pop-up window appears. > If you use the steps tracker while traveling by car or train, vibration may affect your step count.     DONT BUY FOR STEP COUNTING

    This watch does not count your steps correctly. You have to have arm movement or it doesn't count your step. I have tried to get help from Samsung without help. I mailed it to them for repair, they shipped it back unchanged. I have talked to several techs and no one can help. Very disappointed.

    Preorder & expected product to be on time

    Low review because i felt as though customer service was misleading. I was yold that I would get my watch on the release date of July 24th. Called twice for an update status and was told it woukd be ready before 6pm. Then received a message stating that their is a delay with my order and I would be able to pick up my watch on or before July 30th. Im upset because I wish Best Buy would have updated me sooner and not mislead ne to believing that I would receive ny product ontime.
