I've been intrigued for a little while to see what it would be like to have a smartwatch. Moreover, I've been also intrigued with the samsung smart watches. So when I saw this new samsung galaxy watch 7 being released; I knew I had to have it! Being that this is my first smart watch; I thought I would be lost trying to figure out how to get my samsung galaxy watch 7 connected to my google pixel 8 phone. Getting my watch and phone connected through bluetooth was not stressful at all; it was a breeze. It was great to see that my samsung galaxy watch 7 is not limited to be compatible with only samsung phones/products. I was happy to see that the features on my watch are compatible with my google pixel 8 phone. The only feature on the samsung galaxy watch 7 that seems to be limited to only be used with a samsung phone is the health monitor feature. Which is one of the cons I have found for the watch. The other con I have found is when I try to play music from my youtube music and I make sure to be connected to the wi-fi, I download the songs/playlists and yet it will tell me on the audio output; I need to pair a new device. That is something I've been working on trying to figure it out and I will still work on it. I have only found those two cons; which are very minor. The pros outweigh the cons with my new samsung galaxy watch 7! I really like how it monitors my sleep and yes, I do sleep with my watch. I like to see what it tracks it regards to my sleep.This watch is very intuitive which is what I love about it; it's very easy to navigate through with responsive touch and gesture controls. Another good feature is that it has accurate heart rate measurements along with AI health insights. Although, I have bought some cute cases to protect my samsung galaxy watch 7; I like that it's dust proof as well as 5ATM water resistant. I don't have to worry when I am caught in the rain while out and about. Moreover, when I am working out and I'm super sweaty while wearing my watch. I like that If I want to send a text or call someone; I am able to do that on my samsung galaxy watch 7 and not have to do so on my phone if I choose to! Overall, I am super satisfied with my smartwatch! It has exceeded all of my expectations and more. This samsung galaxy watch 7 although, it's my first smartwatch it will not be my only samsung product; it made me want to upgrade my phone to a samsung phone!

The first thing that stood out to me with this Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is its aesthetics. The 40mm face size strikes the perfect balance between readability and usability without looking overly large, unlike some more utility-looking sport watches from other brands. The thin bezel helps maintain a premium look. I’m particularly impressed with how sharp the aluminum body looks and how robust and durable it feels. The watch manages to be both sleek and sporty. The AMOLED display is gorgeous and helps the watch stand out among the other watches I've used before—the screen is very bright, the colors are vivid, and the high resolution really helps with readability. The watch boasts up to 40 hours on a single charge, although I wasn't able to achieve that duration. As a heavy user of the watch's interface and apps, I find myself charging it nightly. Since I don't typically wear a watch overnight for Sleep Tracking, nightly charging isn't an issue for me. However, if you plan to use it around the clock, you might need to give it a quick charge midday. Fortunately, the induction charger refills the battery rapidly. This watch is packed with features, and while there is a bit of a learning curve, the interface is overall intuitive, and setting it up to your liking is fairly straightforward. Texting is straightforward—the keyboard is fairly small, but the touchscreen accuracy and responsiveness make it easy to use. However, if you’d like to avoid typing on the small keyboard, the AI-generated Suggested Replies are well done and often get the job done with just one tap. The seamless setup from my phone was a big plus—the watch automatically downloaded apps that matched what I had on my phone. With a plethora of apps available on the watch, it truly feels like an extension of my Android phone without any extra effort on my part. Customization directly from the watch interface is super simple, but you can tweak things even further with the Wearables App. It’s easy to customize the watch face, manage notifications, add apps and tiles, adjust quick panel settings, and more. Though it may seem like a small thing, I really appreciated the thoughtful addition of being able to flip the screen orientation and button layout (left or right) directly from the settings menu. The watch is not just great for day-to-day utility: the sports functionality is really solid as well. Being able to download Spotify playlists for offline listening during exercise is a game changer so I don't have to carry my phone with me when I got distance running. The generous 32GB capacity is plenty big to hold many apps and songs/podcasts. I connected my Bluetooth headphones to the watch and was able to listen to music while tracking my run via the Samsung Health App. The GPS connected almost instantaneously, and its accuracy was on par with my existing GPS-enabled sports watch. Pace and distance readings were very similar between the two. The summary page of the app is fantastic, displaying typical stats like daily steps, heart rate, sleep duration, etc. All this data syncs to the Samsung Health App on my phone, where it’s great to see the advanced metrics the watch captures—like time spent in different heart rate zones and specific Advanced Running Metrics such as Contact Time, Flight Time, and Vertical, with suggestions for drills and workouts to improve the subpar aspects of my running style. As a data nerd and avid runner, I absolutely love having these metrics plotted out and analyzed for my runs, and I’ll definitely be diving deeper into this data to level up my running game.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 40mm (WiFi only) is the perfect companion to any Android cell phone as long as it has Google Mobile Services. (GMS) Included in the box is a quick start guide and a Samsung quick charger. Set-up was very simple via bluetooth, then follow the prompts on your cell phone. Then you may answer calls, send and receive texts, and see notifications while connected to WiFi. It has many useful and very user-friendly features, such as keeping track of steps, running, biking, and many more activities that can be added. Learning the swipes was very simple. Swiping down from the top takes you to a quick access menu, swiping left from the left side or right from the right side gives you notifications and widgets which you can customize and add more if so desired. Swiping up gives all your other applications, such as your settings, messenger, bookmarks, timer, etc. A simple press of the home button will return you back to home. The Watch 7 works well with the Samsung Health application, and has quite a few fitness recording apps. It has features such as taking your own ECG, recording your body composition, tracking your stress levels, and keeping up with how well you sleep at night. There are several other record-keeping applications within Samsung Health as well such as keeping up with your water intake, calorie counting, stress levels, blood oxygen, cycle tracking, etc. The process of recording the ECG was simple. You must first ensure the watch is snugly on whichever wrist you have it on. Then, you will place a finger on the home button. For 30 seconds, it will record your ECG! Recording your body composition was similar, however, rather than making sure your watch is on snug, you’ll move it up your arm. I had issues with this as the factory band was too small for my mid-arm. After that, you’ll place an elbow on a hard surface such as a table, and then touch the two side buttons. A percentage will appear on the watch – if you can, try to stay as still as possible during this. The body composition results include your BMI, body water level, fat mass, and skeleton muscle, along with measuring your inputted weight and comparing it against what should be a healthy weight for your size. Highly recommended.

I love this watch and all of its features. I had an older version and that worked great too. I love how this one you can really track your sleep and fitness health more in depth than before. The battery life lasts forever. The watch isn't too bulky or heavy. Great purchase!

Out of everything I’ve ever bought, this is easily one of the best decisions I’ve made. It’s not just a watch—it’s something I use every single day without even thinking about it. From tracking my steps and health to keeping me on schedule, it honestly helps me stay more organized and aware of myself. I didn’t expect something this small to make such a big difference, but it really has. What I love most is how it fits into my life so naturally. It’s convenient, reliable, and actually useful—not just something that looks nice on my wrist. If I had to do it all over again, I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Setup was very easy on this watch. Download the Wear app and it pairs instantly. I also have The Galaxy Watch6 and pairing that watch had a few issues so this one was a breeze. Allow at least an hour for setup and customization. You can select from different watch faces or download additional options. The screen is bright, bold and big. Typing is a little difficult when trying to respond to a text or email message using the keyboard. No rotating bezel on this model. Some of the app options: Fitness Tracking including specific types of exercises Personalized heart rate zones and targeted intensity Sleep coaching to track your sleep stages and snoring (including sleep apnea) Heart rate monitoring Health Monitor / EKG (Samsung phones) Text Make phone calls Calendar Take photos using the watch as a controller (Samsung phones) Fall detection – will call your emergency contact Samsung Wallet Buds Spotify Calculator, Stopwatch, etc… Battery Life is about 1 to 2 days, depending on if you wear it all day and night and what apps you use. Some apps drain the battery very fast and then you will have to recharge daily. Battery life has not improved from the Watch6. Storage is excellent with 32GB. I use Outlook to store my contacts, calendar and emails. It syncs with my Google account via CompanionLink and it all connected seamlessly. Location tracking accuracy (dual-frequency GPS) is excellent while exercising. And Fall Detection is greatly improved. My Galaxy Watch6 was constantly indicating a fall when I was just sitting or leaning against a wall. And when I really fell, the Watch6 didn’t catch it. No false alarms with the Watch7 yet. Samsung Health is a great app and you can track weight, water consumption, types of activities, heart rate, stress, sleep, steps, blood oxygen, calories, etc… I keep discovering new ways to use it. It did very well with sleep tracking. I was sick while testing this and it caught a lot of the differences in my sleep pattern on those nights. Call clarity was very good. And I didn’t have to hold the watch to my mouth secret agent style. The volume wasn’t quite as high as on the Watch6. You can even play music and the speaker isn’t awful. Amazon music playlists can be added in your phone to play on the watch. You can swap out bands too – Samsung offers other bands that can be easily changed with One-Click. I am not very fond of the rubber type strap included as it remains moist if you get water under it during hand washing. FYI – it comes with a S/M band which was fine for my wrist. A complaint about bands – Samsung is often sold out of replacement bands. If you put yourself on the notification list, they will email you when supposedly available. I have clicked on the link within 1 minute and no band. Then I receive another notification and same thing. More color selection would be appreciated too. It's also compatible with 3rd party spring pin bands. The enclosed watch charger is fast charging but only has a USB-C connector and no AC adapter. I used an AC adapter to connect to the charger and it still fast charged for me. A wall charger should be included. It is difficult to travel with just the included charger. I didn’t test the 5ATM for water pressure so I don’t know how well it handles water. I really am impressed with this smart watch. But it needs a better battery life and they should make all features available with all cell phones.

Love it! Wanted the circular face and housing so chose this over the newest. It fit my wrist more and looked better overall. Just enouhh tech to stay connected when away from my phone, but not unnecessary extras I would never use. It took a few days for the watch to learn ym routines, but once it did the battery lasts longer than my apple watch.

Best Buy has never let me down. Along with this watch, I have purchased a few other refurbished electronics and I have never been disappointed! This watch is so attractive. It is very user friendly, it was charged and ready to use out of the box. ( I had a gearfit for years) its so simple to set up. I am still learning how to use all the bells n whistles. I highly recommend thier products, the only complaint i have is recharging thaf battery.

I like this watch alot. The watch gace is crystal clear and bright. It has great features for everyday life and fitness functions. My only gripe is the battery life isn't that great. But I would still recommend this watch.

My son surprised me with this smartwatch so I'm still learning what more this watch can do for me! I love the look and the feel of the watch and all the health benefits you can get from it. I use it daily to get my steps in and to check my heart rate. The battery life is great, it last me all day which is a plus. Highly recommend!

It's a beautiful watch I bought it specifically to monitor my heart rhythm and keep my exercise goals on point. I love that I don't have to pull put my phone all the time because my Google 7 watch lets me receive and make calls if you love big bold and bright this watch is for you.

I wanted/needed a way to track my workouts and general health, but I also wanted flexibility beyond fitness tracking. I had owned a Galaxy Watch back some years ago and liked it, so I thought I would look at those. I found this one that wasn't too terribly pricey. I wear it out and about. It's great for keeping track of time, but I also wear it to track my workout and sleep habits. This watch is comfortable. I have a smaller wrist than most men and this watch (40mm) doesn't look too big on my wrist. It is definitely well-made and should last. Scratching the watch face is always possible, but reasonable precautions can help to avoid that. The strap is thick silicone and appears to be durable as well. The description says that the battery can last up to 1 1/2 days continuous usage. I have found that to be true in the beginning, although I expect that to diminish over time. Charging is easy and quick. I've charged the watch from 80% to full charge in 15 minutes.

This Samsung Galaxy Watch7 40mm Bluetooth in Green is a pretty good choice for a smartwatch. It’s great for tracking your health, fitness, and wellness. What you get in the box is: * Samsung Galaxy Watch7 40mm * Charging Cable (adapter not included) * Guide Setup is not hard at all, but it will take awhile if you set everything up and customize everything you are able to customize. To get the most out of the watch, you will want to use a Samsung Galaxy smartphone. You can use an Android smartphone and a lot of features will still work. This watch does require an Android based phone. My favorite features: Sleep tracking is something that I really like about this watch. There is a sleep apnea detector built in. You have to turn it on and set it up, but I used it. It is pretty accurate. Heart rate tracking and ECG recording is a really nice feature. I like how I can do an ECG myself to check for abnormal heart rhythm. It takes your pulse, too. Activity level and reminders are two things that use to bother me, but I depend on them now. I love how this watch has these where they will actually tell you to get to moving. Customizing the watch face is actually fun. You can select so many different options and never run out of unique options. Energy Score calculates your physical readiness based on yesterday’s heart data, physical activity and sleep data. Music can be played from the watch to your headset. Weather on your wrist. I like how I can see the weather at a glance. You can control the camera from the watch The other features are that it includes the Samsung Wallet, the apps that you use on your phone you can use on your watch, but in the watch version (most apps), The downside of this watch is the battery life. I have to charge it daily.

My husband got me this watch and I love it because of everything it does it monitors my health. And also remind me of taking my medication and to keep moving also it monitor my sleep my oxygen levels and how i do when im asleep. It doesn't get any better than that.i never take it off only to charge it and when i shower. I love my watch

I have really loved having this watch. It is definitely sleek and looks great on. It has a bunch of great different features, such as health and wellness tracking, and overall phone controls. It's very easy to use.

I bought this for my wife, and she absolutely loves this watch! This is the second Samsung Galaxy Smartwatch she has. She loved the first one (Galaxy 6), and we upgraded to the 7, which has many more great features and apps, as well as the ability to answer calls and use voice to text. The Samsung Health App is amazing and can track everything from heart rate, stress, snoring, AGE index, and so much more. For Android lovers, this is just as good as the 'other' watch!
