Very easy to operate. There are many health features, one of the best is the help it offers for keeping up with healthy sleeping. This feature has been very insightful for myself as a very busy mom and professional people leader having more to do than time in the day. Also, there is a very bright flashlight feature that turns the face of the watch in to a light. It is sleek in design. Love it!

I recently received the new Samsung Galaxy Watch7 with Bluetooth. I have purchased many different Samsung smartwatches over the years, and I am pleased with the good quality components used in the latest watch. The Watch 7 works great with the Samsung health app so I can track my heart rate and time spent walking or exercising during the day. I like that it can also monitor your blood oxygen levels throughout the day. I utilize the notifications you can set for when my heart rate is indicator is above a certain level to make sure I am aware that I need to take a break from whatever I am doing so the level can go back down. I also like being able to customize the watch with different display faces along with the variety of apps I have available to use while wearing it. I also like that Samsung makes it easy to change out different colors and types of watch bands that work with the new watch. I needed a bigger size band than what came with my watch and ordered a new one to make it even more comfortable while wearing. Overall, I am very pleased with Samsung’s latest edition of the smart watch products.

Great watch. Has great features. I have owed other watches and this is the best one, especially for health tracking. It automatically detects when I am walking. It receives notifications from many apps. Perfect watch!

I got the Samsung Galaxy Watch7 (40mm, Cream) as a gift for my aunt, and she’s absolutely loving it! Great product for the price, especially with all the health tracking features. It’s sleek, easy to use, and it has useful gadgets. Perfect choice if you’re looking for a smartwatch that delivers great value.

I had a Samsung Watch 4 and needed an upgrade. After careful research and reading reviews, I decided on the Watch7. It does everything I need and want it to do. For me, the battery life is longer and I can choose the settings that work for me. I do a bit of walking and some aerobic movement from time to time, and have no interest in using the watch for other purposes, other than for telling time. As someone who is not tech savvy (and at 71 have no intention to be!) this was an easy setup for me. This watch is everything I could want in a smartwatch!

So far so good. Does what its supposed to. I like setting a countdown timer directly from the watch. And seeing my texts and email without looking for my phone.

Terrible battery in an otherwise excellent watch

The galaxy watch 7 ticks all the boxes. Great features, classic design, a beautiful bright screen, deep health and workout tracking features, integrations with a ton of apps ... but none of that matters if the battery is always dead (which it is) Out of the box you get the watch with its included band (looks good!), and the wireless charger. Samsung continues to provide the shortest charging cables ever made, and the slowest charging speeds possible. Just slap a type-c port with fast charging on here or something instead of ultra slow wireless charging. This sucks Setup is easy enough. Grab the samsung wearables app, connect to the watch and you're off. You will be prompted to update the watch, and you should. The default watch face is useless to me, as I like to see that "smart" data at a glance. Fortunately samsung has a huge variety of watch faces available that offer high customization and quick access to all of the data you'd like to see. I prefer a minimalist watch face, but I also like having daily activity goals displayed. Luckily there was a perfect face for my use case. There are also paid options but, come on. The samsung "health" app has all of the stuff you would expect: activity goals, heart rate monitoring, step tracking, automatic workout detection etc etc. New to me are the skin temperature, blood oxygen level, sleep apnea detection, and ECG features. You will need to download two apps though to have all of these features, which is both inconvenient and confusing. All of the more traditional features are housed in the samsung "health" app. Not to be confused with the "samsung health" app. Confused? Yeah no surprise. The app that holds most of your features and the one you'll interact with the most is called "health" (from samsung). Sleep apnea detection and ECG are locked behind a separate app called "samsung health" (also from samsung). This is a needless complication that shunts two features into a separate app when they could've just as easily been on the main menu or in a tab of the other app. I have no idea why this was done. It makes no sense. That's most of what there is to the galaxy watch 7, but we have to talk about battery life. It's awful. For four or five days when you go into the wearables app to check out your battery life you won't get that information. Instead you'll see a message stating "learning your usage patterns". The idea here is that the watch will change its behavior based on how you use it. Presumably managing background apps power states and the like, to maximize efficiency. Cool. On my first full day with the watch I get up at 5, walk the dog, and immediately put the watch on the charger when I get back inside. At this point the watch had 24% battery remaining, but I had only used it from 9pm the night before. So I go about my routine, checking emails, having a coffee ... just waiting for the watch to hit 100%. That took almost 80 minutes, well over an hour. This thing charges painfully slowly, no big deal if I'm charging in the morning right? That's the problem. By 6pm on that first day the watch was at 14%. That's 86% battery drain in 13 hours. That feels really bad. I want the watch to be able to capture all of my sleep data so I charge it up when it hits around 10% (which again takes forever). I get up the next morning and it's rinse and repeat for a few days. Then it happens. The watch has learned my usage patterns! Here comes that sweet sweet battery life bump. 17hr and 25 minutes, not bad! Well actually that is kind of bad. If I want the watch to make it to the next morning I'm going to have to charge before bed. Bummer. So I decide to turn down the brightness of the AOD a little bit, disable NFC because I don't save payments to my devices. See how that goes ... nah. Dead by morning. So I give it a full charge, this time taking over 90 minutes, and I go look at my battery and - what have we here??! It now says my battery will get me 16 hours and 43 minutes of time. What happened to that 42 minutes? Oh well, I'm only on day 2 of the battery having "learned" my usage and my battery life is dropping dramatically. This is unacceptable. A smart watch should be, at a minimum, a 24hr device. The galaxy watch 7 cannot come close to that. Oh there are power saving features that promise to extend your up-time, but it involves disabling all of the smart features of the smart watch. What good is 24 hours of up-time if none of the activity data is being captured by the watch? It's just a regular watch ... a regular watch that'll still die in little more than a day. You can't even use it as a regular watch at this point because power saving disables raise wrist to wake. This is unbelievably bad. This is not a good product. Great hardware. Great software. Great design. Abysmal battery life. I cannot recommend this watch to anyone looking to add a wearable to their daily routine. These things should disappear into the background. You shouldn't have to constantly be worrying about your remaining battery life, nor should you have to charge the watch multiple times a day just to eke out a full 24 hours. Samsung missed the boat on this one.

I picked this watch over a FitBit and I'm happy with my choice. Fits comfortably with the band and i like the fact that you can swap out the bands to accessorize different styles. Only thing that can improve is the battery life. Battery doesn't last long enough. I have to carry my charger just in case. So the battery life could improve.

This is my 3rd Galaxy watch. I have always preferred the smaller size as the bigger watches look like I'm wearing a phone on my wrist. I swapped bands to get a more traditional look, and many people comment on that as they often don't realize it's a smart watch. I would like to see more options for case finish. Brushed SS or brass/chrome plate or such for a more conservative look would be nice.
